  We just returned from our get away to Washington. We really enjoyed our stay at this property. Ingrid was very helpful meeting us and orienting us to the area. The unit was clean and comfortable. The beds were great! We were surprised at how quiet it was at night given how close it is to everything. After LONG days of sightseeing it was great to hae such quiet nights for sleeping. Being so close to Unions Station was great, we used the Mtro but also the city bikes a lot.

  Recommended for: Tourists without a car, girls getaway, sightseeing.

  This property was just a few minutes from Union Station on a nice neighborhood street. There is a small convenience store and a larger grocery store just a few blocks away. The house was very clean and the hostess was very helpful. She even let us park our car for a little longer than our stay at our request. She was also very flexible with our check in quite late on a Friday night. The only problem we had was that the downstairs neighbors complained twice that we were to loud. We are not used to apartment living so this was a bit awkward for us and we were always aware of the noise level on the downstairs level of the home. I think it was a good place to stay and the owner was very eager and willing to help. The location is amazing and the house was clean. The master bed was firm, which made for a great night sleep for us.

  The home is in a great neighbourhood, convenient to Union Station and Capitol Hill. Washington DC was wonderful despite the cold and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Walked nearly everywhere but the metro at Union Station is very convenient. Home was just as the photos convey - cosy, clean and all the amenities. Ingrid met us at the door to show us around and no request was too much - even popped back in the next day with some fresh batteries for one of the remotes. Definitely recommended for a family of 4 with teenagers.

  Our first trip to DC, and a friend recommended Suite Up on the Hill. We had a great stay! The location is super; we walked almost everywhere we went. There's a small grocery within a few blocks if you plan to eat in. The beds were comfortable, and everything was super clean. We'd definitely stay again.

  Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

  We stayed here for 3 nights this past summer. My daughter and her boyfriend were visiting from Berlin Germany and we wanted to show them the sites of DC. This place was exactly as pictured! It was a short 2 block to the Metro and in a nice quiet neighborhood. There was a grocery store just a few blocks away. We loved staying here and especially love VRBO places as we can save tons of money on hotel rooms and we love to cook our own dinners. This place had a well equipped kitchen and even a washer and dryer. The kitchen and bathrooms were clean and we felt lucky to have found this place.

  Ingrid met us and was very welcoming. The location is so convenient to Union Station and walking distance to so many restaurants and attractions. It's very clean and comfortable. We stayed a week and it was a perfect location for us. The washer and dryer came in handy. My husband also enjoyed the relaxing tub after a long day of walking. I also enjoyed the welcoming flowers and rose bush as you enter the property. We would definitely stay again when in DC.

  Yes, the title sounds like a present....well, it was. Spending time with family these days is a gift but when it is wrapped in something wonderful, it means more. Sounds positive, no? Well, it was. The "Suite" was wonderful and it's owners were fantastic. Ingrid met us when we arrived. She was very friendly and helpful! The Row-House itself is fantastic. Perfect for my husband, myself and my two boys aged 10 and 11. Everything was neat and tidy. The "Suite" is a mere block and a half from Union Station which is chalk full of places to eat and shop. Ebeneezer's Coffee house is right on the corner which was very convenient for the morning. The little Martin's Market on the other corner of the block is great. They carry a little bit of everything you need. I would highly recommend the "Suite" to anyone! We will be back in D.C. on further vacations and hope to make the "Suite" our home base again. Thank you Ingrid for a wonderful wrapping to our vacation!

  The owner, Ingrid, is a very sweet and accommodating lady. She provided us with a parking pass so that we would not have to move our SUV all week. The unit is very clean, spacious, and well maintained. The location is perfect - less than 5 minutes from Union Station. The unit is located on a residential street, very quiet. There are local restaurants within walking distance, and of course, Union Station has a number of places to eat. This was perfect for our vacation! Thank you, Ingrid!

  The suite is 2 blocks from Union Station and a 20 minute walk to the Mall. Ingrid lives nearby and was very responsive to our requests. The Suite is comfortable, spotless and a great jumping off spot for seeing the sights. Suggestions: the kitchen could have cooking, spices, and laundry soap so that visitors do less bulk buying as there no inexpensive grocery stores nearby.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We don't like to have any food products in the house though because that could be inviting to guests that we don't want (critters) so even when our guests leave spices or any other food products we throw them out.   We brought our kids to DC to see all the sights, and Suite Up On the Hill was a perfect location. The unit was exactly as shown in the photos, Ingrid was helpful and available. Most important, it was clean, clean, clean. We loved the neighborhood. Great coffee across the street, and Union Station two blocks away. We were able to park right outside our unit, so never worried about our car, either. The owners do a great job with this rental, and our family recommends it highly.

Additional information about rental rates

We only reserve the Suite when we have received a full payment if your stay is within 30 days or 1/3 down payment for 60 days or more in advance and a signed application. The payment should be made by cashier's check for the full amount payable to ADI Real Estate LLC or credit card (Visa/MC) there is a 4% surcharge on credit card payments.

The rate is $275/night (3 night minimum) or a special $1800/wk rate + 150 cleaning fee and $150 security deposit, which will be returned within 3 days after your departure if there isn't any damage to the “Suite”.
