Keystone Lake has ice skating ang hockey in the winter and in the summer paddle boating, fish/duck feeding, bike rentals. A dinner hay/sleigh ride, full spa and exquisite dining plus so much more are available at Keystone. Summit County is home to Lake Dillon with sailing and boat rentals. Dillon has the farmers market every Friday morning in the summer as well as many evening events at the amphitheater. Owner Description
Year Purchased: 1997
Jim and I (Angel) bought the house 1997 after living in Summit County for 15 years. We moved in with our 3 daughters - 2 of which are now in Boise - 1 attending Boise State, the eldest graduated. Our baby is 18, is very athletic and is playing collegiate volleyball for Fort Lewis in Durango in 2010. Jim is a West Metro firefighter and Angel is retired. We love to travel.
Why the Owner Chose Summit Cove
I moved to Summit in '82 to be a lift op. for 6 months to decide what to do with my life. I met Jim, have had great adventures and 3 wonderful girls to raise in a super healthy environment. (Still wondering what to do with my life!)
The Unique Benefits of this Apartment
Convenience to major ski areas at 1/2 the cost of staying at the resort. Access to hiking, and biking trails minutes away and then there is Lake Dillon for sailing/boating in the summer, fishing anytime, snowshoeing and skiing on in the winter.
