"Big Kahuna" is configured as four bedroom, three bathroom house with two bedroom master suites. This unit also has a large, private, deck area off of both master bedrooms. Master bedroom #1 is furnished with a KING-SIZE bed and a gorgeous modern bathroom with two-person Jacuzzi tub. Master bedroom #2 is situated towards the back of the house for maximum privacy, has a queen-sized bed and a private deck. The third bedroom has a queen-sized bed, and the fourth bedroom sleeps one with a twin-sized bed. The living area features a futon couch and TV/DVD player. Off the living room, there is a sunny eating area with a skylight. The Big Kahuna sleeps 7 in beds, and 1 on a futon.
NOTE: There is an additional two-bedroom house available on the property that will also sleeps up to four adults. If you rent both houses, it will sleep up to 12 people. Ask for details.

Great master bath, great location, near baby beach, Near shopping and grocery stores.Centrally located on the island for short trips to anywhere on the island. Great breeze through the Love Shack.
Recommended for:Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

The house was great. Good floorplan for the family with some seperation of bedrooms and nice open living and dining area. The beach areas are close enough that my mom with a diisabled parking permit could walk to them and enjoy the water and sand. The house is not high end, but a very nice comfortable beach house. The neighborhood was quiet, except the roosters. Views of the ocean from the master bedroom, master bathroom, deck off master and living room. The breezes kept the house very comfortable during the day and the sounds of the ocean were very calming all day long. It was nice having laundry on site so that we could pack "light". Everything you need was very close to the house and it is very easy to get to all the destinations. The longest trip is out to Waimea Canyon but it was not that far either. If you want a comfortable beachfront cottage (still spacious), this has to be the place to stay.

We love this location, and the Big Kahuna is a beautiful home right at the beach. We really enjoyed the deck that faces the ocean and the private deck in the back. Being centrally located on the island makes it convenient to pack up and go for the day to the north shore or visit the south shore! We will be back!
