  We had a wonderful time at this home. From its locations, the style of the house, to all it's amenities. First class all the way. We were all in awwww with how beautiful the home was. We would definitely stay here again.

  Felt like home the moment I walked in the door. Each room was better than the next from the wonderful kitchen to the sitting room. The outdoor areas were wonderful for reading, relaxing, and talking with friends. Loved each of the bathrooms - from the copper slipper tub to the rock waterfall shower. Really enjoyed the evenings in the Rock room with a fire in the fireplace. This is just a fantastic place to stay!

  This place really is Heaven on Earth. Anything you could want a vacation home to have, this home has it. The views from every room and every window are spectacular. You really are transported to another world, yet the conveniences are all near. If you want to golf, hike, play foosball, ping pong, swim, play pool, watch a movie in the theater, have a fire outside, you name it this house has it. The only thing I have to say is, that in a week we did not have time to do all that this home has to offer. If you want to get away and feel like you are in an exotic land, a cross between Mexico and Italy, this home awaits you. Pictures and words do not do this place justice. We will be back, no question about it. We have already recommended this place to family and friends. The house manager Kit was so responsive to any question we had during our stay and replied to us promptly. Thank you to the Scarry family for sharing their beautiful home.

  We stayed here with a group of friends for a Cal Poly alumni reunion of our group of friends and it was absolutely amazing. From the minute we walked into the home, we felt like there was no need for us to leave the premises all weekend. You have everything you need here and the place is simply beautiful, relaxing and fun. I'd definitely recommend it!

  You can see from the pictures how beautiful the house is. What you can't quite tell from pictures is how comfortable it is, how designed it is with tactile pleasure in mind. This is not a stage house, where everyone huddles in one corner while the rest of the space remains cold and distant. Every part of it is lived in; every surface feels solid and permanent and warm. It's a family house, "villa" or no. It accommodates you whether you spend your day away from it or within it, whether you like to run or sit still. And it could not exist without the owners and property manager, who were kind and helpful to an extreme. We made lifelong memories at this house.

  Just wanted to let you know what a great time we had this weekend in SLO. The villa was beautiful and our favorite spot had to be in front of the fire in the rock room.Our kids loved the pool table and the pool. No one wanted to leave, and we are all hoping to be able to visit again! Having Brandon cook for us on Sunday night was fantastic. He made us a great meal that all 9 of us enjoyed. That's something that doesn't happen very often! Thank you for all of your recommendations and the treats that you left for us - even though we didn't get around to eating most of them. The taco stand in Cayucas was the favorite of all the adults, and we LOVED the Brown Butter Cookie Company. We loved Avila Beach. There was something for everyone.

  We had a wonderful time. The whole family found the house to be more than we could have expected. It was warm and inviting with all the comforts of home times 1,000. We especially enjoyed the warm pool, the BBQ, the pizza oven, the beautiful aquarium, the theater room with all the movies. Everything was superb. As you know, we brought our two young daughters. They loved exploring the grounds, finding lizards and frogs, bird watching and chasing butterflies. Thank you for the wine, cheese and crackers and for the scone mix and other goodies on the counter. All was delicious.

  We knew going in that this home would be a great place to stay, but it completely exceeded our expectations! We were welcomed by the owner the minute that we arrived and provided with a tour of the home and property, not to mention a beautiful spread of cheese, crackers, fruit, wine and supplies for s'mores. He took great care in explaining every amazing area of the home and really demonstrated great pride in what he had built, which he should because it's one of a kind! The detail and thought that went into designing this home was quickly evident as we spent our time there. There are so many areas to escape to and enjoy and we soon realized that we should have booked a longer stay! Everything you need is at your fingertips, you literally can arrive empty handed and don't have to worry about a thing. The heated pool is perfect for spending the morning, afternoon or evening. The rock room is awesome and provides a great place to lounge, enjoy a fire and just relax to take everything in. There are sweeping views of the valley and mountains from every window and patio throughout the home and just steps from the driveway are hiking trails up to Bishop's Peak for even better views. Each room within the home is comfortable and tastefully designed with hints of different cultures that the owners have encountered throughout their travels and provide a story for each visitor to enjoy as well. The Sonos music system provides a user friendly way to create ambiance throughout the property indoors and out and is easily adjustable by zone to provide the right level of music just where you need it. We enjoyed the outdoor projector and screen for a late night movie with the kids. If you're considering a stay at this home, don't hesitate - just book it. You won't be disappointed and after the first day of your stay will be planning your next visit. It is truly a "home" to enjoy with family and friends and the owners couldn't be more welcoming. We had an amazing time and definitely plan to visit again soon!

  This place is AMAZING. It has everything and more! It is beautifully decorated! No need to bring anything but yourself and clothes! The pool is heated so we swam at all hours! Cant wait to go back!!

  My family needed a place to stay during a family wedding and we selected this beautiful home to encourage the family to hang out together. The setting was unbelievable, backed up against the most beautiful mountain in the area, with a swimming pool, man-cave, pool tables, in-wall acquarium. We had lots of good quality time. The kitchen was the center piece with two large islands and professional stove. We used the Santa-Maria style grill outside and had a great barbeque. The owners were very helpful and their home reflects their fun-loving personalities. The only draw back was the master bedroom didn't have any doors.
