Just wanted to let you know that we had a great time at the beach house this past week. The furnishings were beyond our expectations/comfort. The kitchen and counter layout was perfect for our immediate family reunion spending time together and catching up. The surround sound was a great touch. The covered deck was our morning meeting place for coffee and tea with the sea breeze getting us ready for the day's activities at Wrightsville Beach.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We stayed in this beautiful property with my family so we could attend my daughters graduation. We were extremely pleased with the location and the property itself. You could not ask for better access to the shops, dining and bars on the beach side as well as a short drive to downtown Wilmington. The condo was beautiful, clean and had everything we could have asked for and some things we didn't even know we would want. It appeared everything was thought of for our comfort.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Everything the other reviews say is true. This is a beautifully furnished and equipped home; everything you might aspire to have in your own seaside home. The location is excellent with the beach and several excellent and varied restaurants nearby. It is 10 miles/20 minutes from both the airport and the centre of Wilmington.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We have rented a lot of places along the NC coast and this is by far one of our favorites. There is a lot of attention to detail--kitchen is stocked, comfortable beds and living room furniture and it was so CLEAN. The view of the channel was delightful. We ate every meal outside and spent most of the day reading and relaxing on the porch. The condo is in walking distance to great restaurants and the beach. The owner was a pleasure to work with and was speedy in returning our deposit. Can't wait to rent in the spring and summer months!Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

Our week in this property was above and beyond what we expected. This was our first experience with VRBO and it did not dissappoint. The owners were very responsive to our eamils and phone calls with questions before, during and after the trip (quick return of our deposit was nice surprise). The photos on the web page could not fully describe the first rate attention to details of this unit. Although it rained sometime each day during our week long stay, the view of the channel and the porch with double lounge and sitting area kept us entertained with views of the water, sunsets and great relaxation time with our 2 (adult) children. The short walk to beach, groceries and restaurants were a plus. The decorating was simple and enhanced the rich feel of this place. Quality appliances, nice furniture and modern electronics (flat screen TVs, surround sound and docking for iPods for music in master suite and main living area), made us feel pampered. The beds were comfy and the owners provided top quality linens. They have thought of everything. Fully equipped kitchen and beach chairs, umbrella and beach towels were there. All you need to bring is your swimsuit and toothbrush! We will definately be returning to this property if it is not all booked up before we plan our next stay at Wrightsville. I don't usually write reviews for anything, but this one is here to say that all of the other positive review comments are true!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This condo was fantastic! It looks exactly like the pictures. Everything was just like being at home. The beds were super comfortable. The location was perfect. It was a short walk or bike ride to everything. The whole condo looked brand new. We could tell the owner's really take good care of their home. It was also extremely clean (which is very important to me). We didn't want to leave! We would definitely rent this condo again!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We have made Wrightsville Beach our vacation destination for the last 10 years and we have stayed at various places in the area. This Condo is the best we have ever experienced - perfect in every way and exceeded our expectations! Never felt we were in a vacation rental - felt like the comforts of home. Location is best of best - walking distance to everything! My favorite feature is the outside shower - simply over the top! Walk off beach in 3 minutes and into the shower - walk in the house refreshed and no worries of taking the sand into the condo! Paddleboard Company met us at end of street 1 block over. If you cycle – great set-up with garage! Open garage door in morning and go! Use to have to keep my bike in car or haul up flight of stairs. All the reviews of this beautiful condo are dead on 5/5!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

First I want to say that I am really picky about where I stay and things being clean and beds being comfortable. This home was awesome in every way! It is so much nicer than the pictures! The home is in perfect condition, very roomy and equipped in every way! The TV's are great, the kitchen is great, the beds are wonderful, the view is so much prettier from the balcony than we expected, the bathrooms and showers are great and the location is wonderful! Really this home is just overall perfection! I also want to say that the owners are so nice and very easy to work with!! They refunded my security deposit in less than a week! I will be back to stay in this little treasure! I stayed here with friends over Labor Day weekend - the property was all we could have asked for and more. Conveniently located, and such a well-appointed space - we wound up spending more time in the condo than we imagined we would! Well-equipped, we wanted for nothing. The owners were exceptionally helpful & friendly, responding to questions quickly, and provided great info, not only about the condo, but about the community as well. Truly a home away from home. Excellent location. All you need are your clothes and food, everything else is provided. Comfortable and relaxing. Steps from the ocean. Great location for running, walking, and biking. We rented this as a place to stay while we moved our son into college, but it turned out to be a real vacation. I rented this condo for my husband's 40th birthday, for us to stay in as well as two of his college friends and their wives. I live just a few miles away in Wilmington, so I knew what a prime location this condo has. Even though I had seen the beautiful pictures online, they don't do justice to how pretty this place is in person. It looks brand new...has stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, front load washer and dryer, an amazing shower in the master bath, as well as really nice linens and tasteful decorations. My husband and our guests were thrilled, and want to rent it again next year. The owners are also really nice and were quick to refund our security deposit.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

Family (mom, dad, two sons 18 and 15) and their two friends (same ages) stayed at this beautiful duplex from 7/22/11 to 7/29/11. I want to start off saying that I am pretty anal. All the reviews cannot be wrong! We live in Ct but had lived in Wilmington for 4 years in the late 90's, and were familiar with the location of the duplex. The location, although not on the beach, is only a 3 minute walk across the street, and is on the "bay side" of the ICCW. Even though it is located near two/three bars and the street activity at night is "hoppin", for some reason the noise level is not an issue. Everything is provided. You know someone took pride in their home when you see granite counters, stainless steel appliances. surround sound (in both living room and master bedroom), flat screen tv's, crown moldings throughout (even in the laundry room?), a Dyson vacuum, and state of the art digital washer and dryer. the dual-headed shower in the master is awesome! Everything at the duplex is available for your use..beach chairs (like 8?), body boards, surfboard, 3/4 fishing poles, tackle box, etc. is there. We have vacationed in Wilmington for the last 12 years and would not hesitate to rent this duplex again. This was our first time renting someone's home, and was fabulous. Another benefit was that the home came with a parking pass. We put our vehicle on the street with the pass (you can keep it there all day and night if you want), and that enabled anyone coming to see us to park bumper to bumper (2 more vehicles) in the allotted space in front of the garage without any expense and the comfort of knowing they would not get towed (parking is a premium in Wrightsville). The place also has an outdoor heated shower on the ground floor to get that sand off everyone and everything! The deck has a very comfortable double chaise lounge, and has a bar table and 3 chairs to watch the sunsets overlooking the Causeway. The only (and not a big deal all in all) drawback I can remember is that there is no gas/charcoal grill. I had spoken to the owners and they agreed that the grill should be added by next summer. We are looking forward to coming back in the summer of 2012, and hope our week is available when it comes time to secure the duplex. Everyone who came to visit us absolutely loved the place, and was going to recommend it to whomever they knew that wanted to come to Wilmington/Wrightsville in the future!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway.

It all sounded too good to be true, but we were actually blown away by how truely perfect this Vacation Condo really was. We have stayed in numerous vacation rentals over the past 30 years or so, but not one held a candle to this one. The owners truely love this place and it is evident every where you look. The only thing you need is a few changes of clothing and your tooth brush. The owners have planned and provided everything you should need for that perfect vacation. I just regret that we only had four nights to spend. Next time, we are going to try to spend at least one full week there and probably two weeks, if I can work it out. I strongly recommend this unit for anyone who prefers to go "First Class" all the way.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway.

This is a well-situated condo, few minutes of walking from the beach and with canal view including sunsets from the patio. The interior was great, and in fact, the condo looks better in real life than on the pictures! The garage is pretty much equipped with what you need, like bikes and beach gear. The owners seem to understand the importance of providing some basic necessities, including towels, linens, a well-equipped kitchen etc. Communication with owners including payment and return of security deposit was fast and seamless. I would definitely recommend among friends.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

We had a great time!! The place is very nice & extremely clean! As soon as you walk in, it smells fresh & new. The beds were very comfortable, & the linens were nice as well. While it's not on the beach, you can't ask for a better location! You can walk to Tower 7 for great Mexican food, Robert's Grocery is right across the street, & there's a short walk to the beach. The Loop is just outside the front door for those who want to exercise! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice, roomy, clean, updated, pleasantly decorated place to stay in Wrightsville Beach!Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway.

This was everything we needed and more. Even in the off-season, the area had enough to keep our three generations entertained. The house was roomy, cozy, classy, and functional. We especially enjoyed the gas fireplace, since it came in handy during the chilly winter nights. We spent our Christmas holiday at this beach condo so that we could be near our daughter who lives in Wilmington. Turns out it was a great decision to stay here. What a fabulous condo! Its close proximity to the beach and the local restaurants/pubs made it possible to lose the car keys for as long as we wanted. The photos of the condo don't do it justice. The beautiful appointments helped to make this a truly enjoyable stay. Everything was perfect and the unit was super clean. The condo is very spacious and warm and the gas log fireplace added a relaxing touch. Our holiday at this rental was one that we will remember. We recommend this unit and plan to stay here in the summer when we can take full advantage of the beach.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

Stayed here with 3 girlfriends for a long weekend and had a wonderful time! The condo is like new and so nice. It is located near the center of Wrightsville Beach right off the "loop" which is great for walking. Beach chairs and towels are furnished along with linens which cuts down on packing. We stay at this beach every year and this would be top choice for us! Thanks so much to the owners for working with us! Just spent 4 days here with my husband (part of the time :-))), Sister and 2 daughters ages 3 and 5! We had the BEST time. Modern kitchen, with classic clean decor. Every day we took a 3 minute walk to the beach, and every night read stories on the chaise to my daughters, with a final walk to the water with their aunt. This is a beautifully appointed condo, and really is just steps from the beach. Every detail is attended to, from ample, comfortable furniture, to a perfectly stocked kitchen, and to-die-for linens! The balcony is a wonderful respite from the beach, and a great place to watch the sun go down. There are eateries, including a very good restaurant, shops, and a small market, less than a block away. I would not hesitate to recommend this property.Recommended for: Girls getaway, tourists without a car.

This fabulous condo is professionally decorated with all of the amenities that our 4-person "40/50ish" group of ladies was looking for. Gorgeoous deck views of the sound, just a few blocks to the ocean, and within walking distance of great places to eat and shop. The Master Bath was wonderful......all three queen beds were very comfortable and it is clear that the owners spared no expense in outfitting the unit. Loved the sound system, the flat screen TV's and the super-comfy leather sectional in the great room. We will certainly return to Wrightsville Beach and have no need to look for any other accomodations.....we found the perfect escape!
