The spacious, 3-story residence is located in the heart of Rosedale. The home is surrounded by the gorges and ravines that define the neighborhood, offering seclusion from the city core conveniently located minutes away.
For over one hundred years Rosedale has held the distinction of being the city's most fashionable address, and many of Toronto's wealthiest and most prominent citizens reside here. Built between 1860 and 1930, many of Rosedale's large and stately homes are Heritage Properties constructed in Victorian, Georgian, Tudor and Edwardian styles.
The furnished, fully appointed residence has been architecturally designed using exquisite Italian finishes. Over 3,000 square feet of living space complements the homes exterior garden providing an opportunity for adults and children alike to lounge, barbeque, and enjoy the outdoors.
2 bedrooms (each with a bed for 2) are located on the second floor, each with an ensuite bathroom. 2 bedrooms are located on the third floor (each with a twin bed), with a shared bathroom. The home is suitable for 2 couples and 2 children, or 1 couple and 2 to 4 children.
The lower level boasts an entertainment room with a flat screen TV, Sonos system, Wii, Guitar Hero, DVD player etc.
Covered parking is provided for 2 vehicles, and there is easy access to the city core by foot, bike or subway.
A one week minimum stay is required, along with a security deposit, cleaning fee and local tax.

The house truly lives up to all expectations: spacious, well maintained, great amenities. The kitchen is terrific and the deck off the back is very usable. The location and the neighbourhood is superb and so convenient for getting around town. Only steps to the subway, restaurants and shopping yet situated on a quiet street in one of Toronto's best neighbourhoods. The owners are extremely helpful and accomodating. We would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to enjoy central Toronto yet still want to escape to a beautiful home for some "relax time" as well. We will definitely be back to stay again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, families with young children.

We used this house to try to feel as if we lived ( as we once did) in Toronto, so that we could have a base for our daughter and very young grandsons to visit while they were staying in the area, on home leave from China. Thus we were able to buy groceries and move in, begin to barbecue and entertain, and use the house as if we lived there. The house with clean lines, is well set up for children and especially good for dining and cooking, parking. Absolutely perfect location, close to subway, and all shops needed. Very pleasant interactions with owners and neighbours, and we would rent again next year. Great stay!. ThanksRecommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

We had high expectations of the house, which were definitely met. The house is walking distance to everything we needed: Restaurants, Cafes, Grocery Stores, the Subway. When we weren't exploring the city, we relaxed in the Garden. The owners left all amenities including pantry items in the kitchen which made it easy to cook and enjoy a dinner in. It is such a great alternative to a hotel, a terrific way for the couple we were travelling with to relax together. The owners checked in with us during our stay to ask if we needed anything, but honestly we had nothing to ask for. Highly recommended, and cudos to the owners for being so accomodating...Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

While visiting family, this was exactly what we needed for our stay in Toronto . An amazing house in a fantastic location. The house was spotless when we arrived, like out of a magazine. Easy access to everything either by foot or by subway (only 5 min walk away). The owners were so helpful in helping us settle in and even found some bikes and trikes for our girls to ride on. Nothing was overlooked. Suggestions on where to shop or eat were always just what we were looking for when we managed to drag ourselves away from the back deck of the house. We spent many hours sipping wine on the deck after the children were in bed. Highly recommend this accommodation in this quiet, beautiful, downtown area of Toronto.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, families with young children.
