Privately owned, fully equipped Resort Villa with central air condition, at the 5-star Wyndham Rio Mar Resort Golf and Spa. Gorgeous view of golf courses, Wyndham Rio Mar Hotel, the Caribbean National Rain Forest 'El Yunque', and ocean from balcony.
Master bedroom with Queen size bed, Cable TV, DVD, and bathroom. Second bedroom with 2 full size beds and Cable TV. Living room includes a queen futon/sofa sleeper and a twin size futon/sofa sleeper. Fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances including a dish washer. Lovely bar dining table. Washer/Dryer in the unit.
The hotel has two championship golf courses, Ocean Golf Course and River Golf Course, one designed by Greg Norman and the other by Tom and John Facio. Clay and hard court tennis facilities, and also offers activities such as jet skiing, kite surfing, windsurfing and snorkeling. Also, horseback and four-track riding activities on the nearby areas.
Resort has restaurants and lounges, bars and Casino. Gazebo with BBQ, pool and Jacuzzi are only steps away. No passport is required if you are a US citizen.

The property is tired, the main bathroom needs the ceiling gutted and replaced (the tub and floor was loaded with crumbed ceiling material in the tub upon arrival, cleaning staff came the following morning and cleaned it, but it crumbled each day.), both bathrooms need the tub/shower valves replaced, when you wash clothes you can't take a shower (water pressure problem), no hair drier, ironing board needs replacing, golf cart problem at the start of stay (it was switched out), futon sofa and chair uncomfortable to sleep on, elevator for complex outside entrance to condo had an alarm buzzing for 5 days straight, gate clicker is old and damaged (needs to be replaced), master bedroom chair's cushions are stained (need replacing), pictures on wall need replacing (mold under glass), it would have been nice to have a small cooler to take the beach. The management contact was very helpful. The Wyndham Resorts is a nice property and the condo beach is private and clean. I would return to the property but seek out a different condo. Friends stayed in a condo in a different cluster and it was updated and clean. I have emailed the owner to voice my disappointment and have not received a response. This was my second visit to the Rio Mar Resort and first villa rental. I would definitively do it again! The apartment has all the comodities you may ask for (two full bathrooms, internet, full kitchen, air conditioning). Rio Mar is best enjoyed in a golf cart and, what a view!!! The apartment has a little balcony from which you can stare at the ocean and the beautiful golf course (ocean course). Be sure to take the golf cart to the Iguana's Pub above the golf shop and go snorkeling to Fajardo, only $99 per couple (rum punch included!). The owners were very helpful too...thanks Aixa!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Loved this apartment and will rent it again anytime! Very relaxing area with AMAZING views. Very comfortable for the whole family and with great amenities. The owner was extremely professional and of great help when answering all my questions, very approachable. Everything that was promised was true and more, excellent experience!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children.
