This was a great place to stay that looked exactly like the photos. We were in walking distance of Lincoln Road, and even hiked down to the South Beach Art Deco area along a beautiful oceanfront paved path. You can also take a boardwalk north to the Eden Rock hotel. The owner was very helpful, especially when our reservation seemed to have gotten "lost", but she made it all work for us. The studio was clean with plenty of closet space. However, there is lots of construction on this property and the next door Perry Hotel, so if you are planning a stay, I would absolutely double check to see if the construction is done, unless you love the sound of jackhammer early in the morning. If you want to stay sooner than June, I recommend the beach where you will have to rent chairs and umbrellas, The pool at the Perry next door is open to the Roney guests, and seemed a bit nicer than the Roney Palace pool. All in all we had a great stay!!!Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

I stayed at this unit with a few friends of mine for the 2012 Winter Music Conference & had a wonderful experience!! The place was quite spacious for a studio & very clean. The owners were also very helpful with giving us little tips about getting around. The location was perfect as it is right on Collins Ave yet far enough away from the hustle & bustle downtown to be quiet at night. This is a great unit for either 2 couples, as we were, or even better just one couple! Even with 1 or 2 kids this unit is spacious enough to handle. Very convenient with a Walgreens just across the street & a Publix supermarket not too far. Again I was very happy with my stay, will defintely recommend it & I plan on returning next year!! Thanks again.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We stayed in Roney Palace for 4 nights in early Jan. The apartment was perfect - spacious with everything we needed and in a great location for exploring Sotuh Beach. The pool at the Gansevoort was ideal - great views and relatively peaceful. Gladys was extremely helpful from start to finish, giving us tips on where to go and even collecting us from the hire car place and taking us to the apartment. I want to say thank you to Gladys,the place was clean, nice and had a good location. We really enjoyed ourselves. I like the fact that you meet your guest and show them around. We would definitely stay again. Until next time! Thank again. I am updating my last review. I want to thank Gladys and Patricio for taking the time to assure me, they had done all they could to address my credit card issue. so, I want is one of the best locations in South Beach. it is located close to everything you need. Let's not forget the Valet parking. If you have been to SOBE you know how horrible parking can be. This is the place to stay!!!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

I come to SOBE at least 2x/yr and stay with family,this was my first time at this location. I must say I was very pleased. The unit was very clean and well furnished and t he included valet parking was a plus. I had a few small issues, when I went tp the Gansevoort I was told I really didn't have full acess To their facility but they allowed me in.I was never given a card form the elevators. I was told,every Day, the cards were at the desk in the lobby,NOT!!! The valet parking, every time I went to get car, They couldn't find it. I was given a pass when I arrived and I still had a problem. Even with those small issues, I still enjoyed the rental. However, I have one major concern. I used my credit card for the deposit. I faxed the info to Gladys. Upon my departure I received a credit for the deposit. Two weeks later, I had several fraudulent charges on my card all from Miami. I called with my concern and was told I couldn't have been there office. Well, I didn't use any credit cards while there,only cash. The charges were made after I departed and the card was not swiped for the transactions. They were Keyed in. I am now waiting on the receipts. I wanted to speak to owner but no luck. So, hopefully this is resolved. I love the property and location and would recommend to everyone. Just a little concerned about the above issue and lack of concern or assistance.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

My boyfriend booked this room for our 1 year anniversary, we had the most AMAZING time!!! Gladys was so helpful and kind! She met us upon our arrival showed us around the condo, pools, beach, etc... The location was perfect, everything was within walking distance from the beach, clubs, and even shopping!!! We enjoyed over-looking the beautiful city of Miami from our window in the room (it's so pretty at night) even taking the short walk behind this unit for a moonlit walk on the beach. So much to do, so much to see!!! This is def a place that we would recommend to anyone or couple who want to just get-away or even if you like to party. The clubs in the hotel that Roney's Palace is attached to had the place jumpin and they gave us no problems about getting in. Hope you enjoy as much as we did, can't wait to come back!!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

I booked the unit for the Black Film Festival in early July and the stay was great and Gladys was on hand anytime you needed her. The private beach to me overall is the best amenity this package has to offer, besides the location and the connection to the Gansevroot. Me and my homeboi had a great time staying in the studio. I would def recommend this rental for anyone looking to enjoy miami as if they were home.Recommended for: Girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

We had a wonderful time while staying at this property. The apartment was perfectly clean and set up beautifully. The grounds outside are GORGEOUS and the location was prime. Gladys was especially helpful with everything that we asked/needed. I would definitely stay here again! Thank you for such a wonderful and relaxing winter vacation. We spent 2 weeks (October 2011) at Roney Palace and it was right as we see in photos; comfortable appartment, clean, well maintained. Nearby Lincoln road and Ocean Drive (perfect if you stay with kids because you can go walking). Gladys was very helpfull with our concerns and questions, I totally recomend this property!Recommended for: Families with young children

I rented this property with my fiance for a week in August and had an amazing time! This ocean front property was very clean, larger than the pictures make it look, and well represented. The fact that you can use some of the Gansevoort amenities was icing on the cake. Almost every day we were able to get a free shaded mini cabana and towel service at the Gansevoort's main pool deck (first come first serve) and beach chairs were always available. We didn't have a problem getting onto the rooftop pool during the day or night but it is for Hotel guests during the week so there are invisible velvet ropes and you may have to talk or look your way into it if you can. The views from all the pools (and of the people) are smoking hot and you can walk onto the beach in seconds. If you want to be located in the upscale SoBe area where all the hottest hotels and clubs are this is the spot for you! My best advice when dealing with the Gansevoort staff would be to show some love and tip the pool peeps $5-$10 a day to set you up and find you a nice spot. Dont forget to take care of poolside waitresses too. They know who is stayng at the hotel and who is at the Roney so this will even out the playing field. We will definitly look to come back here and I recommend it to anyone who loves SoBe. Last but not least... Gladys is great and trustworthy, communication is quick, and the transactions are fast...
