Beaver Creek Ski Resort is adjacent to the town of Avon (and ten miles west of Vail) in the Eagle River Valley in Colorado. Walk out the condominium door and up the heated plaza, less than 100 yards, to the main lift. Or, ski down to the Elkhorn lift. Ski in access trails pass right by St. James Place!
Our quiet, garden-level condominium at St. James Place Resort sleeps six, in three bedrooms, complete with down comforters and terry robes, and has three full baths. Enjoy cooking in the gourmet equipped kitchen, new granite slab countertops, complete with spices and new glass top stove and microwave. Experience the 1600 square feet of super luxury, Rocky Mountain, rustic décor in the middle of the action in Beaver Creek Village. This luxury condominium with its eleven-foot ceilings and walnut wood flooring provides a spacious yet cozy environment for a vacation of a lifetime. New is a large capacity washer/dryer and 4 large flat screen TVs with DVDs. Portacrib, booster seat and Aerobed are all available for no charge. Parking in the garage is free with 2 (tandem)spaces.
The open-air ice skating facility and the Vilar Center for the Performing Arts, with live entertainment, are also just yards from our front door. St James has renovated the pool, it is gorgious!
Gourmet restaurants, shops, and galleries abound all along the Plaza.
Shuttle buses from Beaver Creek Village go to buses to the Vail ski area. Breckenridge and Keystone Resorts are also just a bus ride away. Ski all with the same lift ticket. Get the Epic pass Now! They are still offering them.

My wife and I have just returned home from our week in Beaver Creek, sharing this wonderful unit with our daughter and family of 4. The description, if anything, undercalls it's attributes. It's location on the ground floor, just a few feet from the circular drive, permits ease of access from an automobile as well as comings and goings with no need to wait for an elevator. It was spotlessly clean as well as attractively and comfortably furnished. We ate most meal in and found the kitchen equipment superior to almost any condo we have ever rented. The beds are comforable and each bedroom has it's own flat screen cable TV and bathroom. The big screen TV in the living room has HD and DVD (perhaps some of the others are as well -- I didn't pay attention). The Glenwrights were easy to deal with and clearly "aim to please". I couldn't give the whole experience a higher rating. BTW, the skiing at Beaver Creek is world class. In my opinion, it is a much more "user friendly" mountain then Vail. There is a great variety of runs and, contrary to my experience at Vail, free of long cat-track journeys. RDTRecommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, people with disabilities, families with young children.

We came to Beaver Creek for our Mardi GRAS vacation with another family. We had a total of 4 adults and 4 kids. The condo was very spacious and had everything we needed to feel comfortable! The kitchen was well stocked so that we could prepare meals. It was conveient to get our ski/snowboards from the ski locker because the condo is right next to it. The town itself was beautiful and we had great access to restaurants, shops, etc... We will definitely be coming back!! The owner was great to work with also.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

This was a real suprise for me and my Family. This trip to Beaver Creek was our gift to the kids and grandkids for this Holiday Season. The condo was complete will all the things a group would need. All you have to bring is your guest, food and drink. The village is just steps away and yet we were peacefully tucked back and away from all the hustle of the village. This was truely the best place we have ever stayed and we have been coming to the area anually for the last 16 years. We Will Be Back, we are already planning our trip next year. We hope to have this same unit for years to come. The Staff and Facility were great and always available to answer questions. St. James Place offers so much for the entire family to do or just sit back and enjoy the beautiful surrounding inside this fabulous home. My husband and I had the pleasure of staying in a condo at the St. James. The owner has been thorough and fair and most helpful with details about Beaver Creek Village. The condo is spacious and perfect appointed in every way. It was so nice to be able to pull up to the front door and unload the groceries or whatever we had purchased. There is no detail left unattended. The beds are very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals and we enjoyed sitting on the porch while dining. I would recommend this condo with no hesitation.Recommended for: Age 55+, sightseeing, romantic getaway.

Condo was in great condition and an excellent location. No need for a car all week as everything you need is in the resort. Stephanie was fantastic to work with, she made our entire experience of renting so easy! We had a great time at St. James Plaza #8. We able to pull up to the front door to load and unload our vehicle. The plaza location affords privacy since there is no interior hallway, yet everything was just steps away.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

Year Purchased: 1996
About the owner: We have been managing this condo since we bought it new in 1996. I love meeting all of our tenants, usually not in person, but through emails and phone conversations, and having many of them return. We have managed up to 13 rentals at one time and have been in property management for over 40 years.
Why the Owner Chose St. James Place:
We chose to buy at St James Place in Beaver Creek because we fell in love with the area and its location to the ski slopes, the generous size of the units and all of the amenities offered at this friendly, upscale, family oriented Resort. Besides all of the winter sports, just strolling out our front door and up the Plaza to shop and eat at one of the many excellent restaurants is a favorite past time for us. Summers are also great here; a well kept secret.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
Beaver Creek is actually a 3 mountain Resort, Beaver Creek, Bachelor Gulch and Arrow head. Plus your lift tickets are also good at Vail, Breckenridge and Keystone Resorts. Along with downhill and boarding there is a large cross country area, lots of snow shoe trails, sledding and ice skating at a beautiful year round outdoor rink.
Summer offers tennis and many golf courses near by along with hiking and biking. Fishing and white water rafting are also close by. A trip to Glenwood Springs to the largest hot springs salt water pool is fun winter and summer. Don’t miss the tram ride to the Adventure Park and caverns. As well as surrounding Aspen and Vail, there is the close by town of Edwards with its many shops and fun restaurants.
