It just don't get any better then this. The view is Awesome! Great sunrises and sunsets. Even stormy nights are a treat to watch. We have stayed in different places in Maggie, and this cabin is by far the best for your money. Everything you need is there. The cabin was very clean & cozy and a short trip down the hill to Soco Rd. was even better. Great home cooking at all the Mom & Pop Restaurants. If you never been to Maggie Valley, you need to go and stay here. Maggie is like Maybeary RFD.Thanks again Tammy. We will be back!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers, families with young children, pet owners, girls getaway.

THis home is very clean, comfortable and nicely furnished and equipped. The home has a nice deck that overlooks Maggie Valley and offers everchanging views of the mountains and beautiful skies and sunsets. It is very quiet and peaceful, yet, convenientThe split bedroom plan is very nice for offering privacy to all if you have over night quests. The driveway is very steep, so I would suggest that if you are pulling a trailor, be sure to arrive in the daylight. The owner is extremily professional and a pleasure to deal with. Over all it was a delightful month. ThanksRecommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, people with disabilities, adventure seekers, families with young children, pet owners, girls getaway.

My husband and I and our four chihuahuas stayed at Our Mountain Getaway for 8 days. What an absolutely beautiful place! I must admit being a little intimidated by the downhill driveway to start with, but after a couple of trips in and out it was not a problem. The cabin is in a great location right in the heart of Maggie Valley. It was wonderful waking up to the incredible view. Both bedrooms and the living room had glass wall/sliding doors that open onto the deck. I enjoyed sitting on the swing in the morning with my coffee and book. The cabin was very clean and offered quite a few little "extras". Because the afternoon sun comes into the windows, I would have preferred to have a/c in the living room (it was an unseasonably warm week in Maggie) but with the fans we made out fine. It was actually cool at night. We loved the large walk-in shower in the master bedroom and the reclining loveseats in the living room! The owner was so nice to work with....we would definitely like to return and so would the 4 "babies"!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, pet owners.

Dear Tammy, The best vacation every!! Beautiful view, home, just everything. I think one thing made the difference was I was able to bring my dogs. They enjoyed the "getaway" as much as we did. We want to come again next year. Thanks so much, RayDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

Thanks for the E-mail. Our stay at your home in Maggie Valley was very enjoyable. The weather could not have been any better. . . it was clear and cool all week. Obviously, your home has been completely remodeled recently, and everything is in excellent condition. The only thing I'd change would be the orientation of the afternoon sun! We weren't surprised by this however, because we rented a home directly above yours for many years. Anyway, it was cool every night, and we didn't have to use the air conditioner. You have a great rental property. Regards, BobDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We loved, loved, loved the house and we thank you for sharing it with us. We had a wonderful time. We found some awesome restaurants (Good Tymes (great breakfast and the best burgers and fries), Country Vittles (really good homecooked fresh breakfast), Legends (good sandwiches), Bogart's and Clyde's, both in Waynesville. Bogart's (good steaks and sandwiches). Clyde's (awesome home cooking---we ate there two nights in a row and it was great). We loved the view and everything in the house was very comfortable. Thank you for having us as guests. Thank you again for having us as guests, thank you for being so kind, and thank you for the well wishes. I wish you and your family the best as well and if we come back to Maggie anytime soon, I will contact you again.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0
