  Just returned from a ten day stay at Casa Agave Blue. Had a wonderful time. Just loved the patio that stretches from one end of condo to the other. Lovely view of Playa La Ropa. Beautiful flowers and plants to enjoy and a water feature that is soothing. We enjoyed our breakfast and some of our dinners on the patio. After swimming the beach, we hiked up the hill and dipped into the lovely pool of the complex or the infinity pool in the condo. Both were lovely way to cool off. We walked into town once, but most of the time we took the local bus, which was fine. One of our favourite restaurants in town was Fajita Queens. Great food and a lovely owner. Also Tata's. We would return to Casa Agave Blue.

  Thank you Robin for sharing your beautiful home with us! We very much enjoyed every minute of our stay. Upon arrival we were greeted by Fredi who was more than helpful with the condo amenities and instructions. The condo looked exactly like the pictures online except the view is even more amazing than a picture could ever capture! We found ourselves enjoying the spacious terrazo every morning, afternoon and sunset. Easy walking access to the beaches and several restaurants was perfect for us who did not rent a car. Getting to town or to the grocery store was simple by taking a taxi when we needed. We walked to the cute downtown Ziha several times which gave us our exercise and people watching/meeting. What a great location! We so enjoyed the sunset view from the condo and the kitchen/grill made it easy to prepare our own meals when we wanted to stay in for the evening. The dipping pool was perfect for a quiet cooling off or taking a swim in the complex pool which was pretty much to ourselves most of the day. The complex itself is very quiet, peaceful and well cared for. Robin was always available via email for any recommendations (which were always perfect) and Fredi helped us navigate our taxis. We enjoyed the restaurants along the beach being so close to walk to for both casual and more upscale dining. We would definitely stay in Robin's home again on our next visit to Ziha. Our only complaint is that we didn't find this location sooner!

  My wife and I and another couple went down to Agave Blue in Zihuatanejo in mid February as a wedding gift from a dear friend. Our first experience upon arriving in the airport was depressing as we realized that Alaska Airlines had lost our luggage. So it was very relieving when we first walked into the lovely condominium and were blown away by the amazing view of the picturesque and unadulterated bay and the gorgeous La Ropa beach. I instantly understood the charm and beauty of Zihuat; there are no massive concrete resort towers distracting you from the natural beauty of the coastline. There isn't the irritating din of jet ski engines and speed boats pulling banana boats (there were a few of these activities but only a few). Zihuat from a distance is incredibly beautiful and seemed very relaxing and authentic. The accommodations that we were going to be spending the next 9 days in was perfect: a great sized deck, large living and kitchen area and incredibly each bedroom has it's own bathroom as well there is a powder room. The space is well furnished and the deck is wonderfully landscaped. So, after taking a a deep breath of the tropical air and popping a Cerveza we knew we found a unique slice of paradise at Agave Blue and proceeded to forget our clothing troubles. We relaxed for a bit and then our gang took the 5 minute walk down to the La Ropa beach where we were entertained by a lovely sunset at a beach side cafe. Our vacation had begun and we never looked back. All in all a fabulous trip enhanced by our wonderful accommodation at Agave Blue.

  We had a great time during the Christmas Holiday with my wife and our 12 year old daughter and a friend. Couldn't keep the kids out of the pool while we spent a fair bit of time on beach (five minutes away). The evenings were spectacular, either enjoying a pre-dinner cocktail or barbequing on the spacious deck. Looking along beautiful La Ropa onto the lights of Zihua was a great way to end the day. Within easy walking distance of beach restaurants or when we felt more adventuresome a walk along the beach and the Malacon was a great way to work up an appetite. Clean and spacious accomodations, we will definitely be back. Thank-you, Robin!

  Date of vacation: 26th March – April 2nd. Our family had a great stay at your vacation home; thank you for allowing us to share. When we arrived, we were met by your manager, and despite his lack of English, we had no problem communicating. He showed us how to work the various amenities – most of all the well-used dipping tub, (by us)! The close-by beaches, (Las Gatas was our favourite), and the many restaurants within walking distance were great. But most of all, we enjoyed the well-shaded and breezy condo, where we took many of our meals, and enjoyed the huge deck overlooking those wonderful views. Your directions from the airport, and the suggestions for our better enjoyment of the property were right on. We all agreed – we WILL be back! Thank you – Michelle Macalino

  We just arrived back from a great week at your place in beautiful Zihuatanejo. From Freddy meeting & greeting, (in broken English), us on our arrival, to breakfasts on the terrace and walks along the beach at sunset - we just didn't want to come home. Your many suggestions for things to do and restaurants to visit, were all well received. Being able to dunk in the jacuzzi to cool off were just what we needed; but most of all - we will all remember the fabulous view from the terrace of Agave Blue. Can't wait to come back next year. Thank you SO much for sharing your wonderfully authentic Mexican home. The Zuber Family

  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Agave Blue. (We are Mom, Dad, and two 16 yr-old girls.) We enjoyed the spaciousness, privacy, and Mexican decor of the condo. The view from the very large deck overlooking the bay and beach is stunning. Mom enjoyed Yoga at Paty's every morning, so we spent quite some time at her restaurant. We walked into town to the restaurants, shopping, and often took a taxi back. The condo was very clean on arrival. Although we ate out most of the time, Agave Blue is well set up for eating in. Jungle Pizza is only a short walk away. We enjoyed the dipping pool on the deck, as well as the large swimming pool. The sounds of the waterfall from the pool by day, and the surf at night, were relaxing. A wonderful family holiday enjoyed by all. We look forward to returning.

  This was our second rental experience in PUNTA MARINA Condos but the first time we rented this particular unit. The unit is spacious, has a great view of La Ropa Beach and is reasonably close to the beach and well furnished but maintenance of the unit leaves a great deal to be desired. We were told the dishwasher was not working but found additionally that the washer and dryer were broken as well. Ditto for the cell phone and also the cable TV service which shut down after the first week. All bathroom sinks were without hot water as lines were either broken or taps could not be shut off - thus necessitating closing the line valve under each sink. Cleanliness was also a problem and we even had disagreements with the owner whether periodic cleanings and sheet/towel servicing were included in the rent. Thankfully, the owner relented and had someone come in to clean. Linens were washed off-site. Until appliances are replaced and plumbing problems corrected, I would not suggest renting this unit. Al

We made renter aware that we were in process to fix washer, & dryer broke down in process. We DISCOUNTED RENTAL for this inconvenience. The cell phone needs plugging in to work, and time must be purchased. It works. The day after receiving call regarding TV, the tech came out to fix. H&C water is perfectly fine - it lacks pressure. This IS Mexico. Mid-week cleaning is NOT included in rental, & is not represented to be. Because this was a 3 week rental, we agreed to clean 4 times, which we did, at our expense. There was no question of "relenting" - we agreed to do so, and did.

  This was our second trip to Zihuatanejo. We love the area and all that it offers. Punta Marina condos are huge with spectacular views. Agave Blue needs some maintenance and TLC! We were very pleased that Robin responded promptly to our concerns and addressed many of them while we were still staying at his place. It is our understanding that he plans to do some of the work that needs to be done around the place and if this happens I would recommend his place solely on the grounds that he is quick to take care of his tenants needs and concerns.

  We've recently returned from a great couple of weeks at Agave Blue. It was the perfect place to take two kids and their grandparents. My parents enjoyed birdwatching from the deck, while the kids played in the dipping pool. Exceptional view and lovely walk down to the Playa Ropa. We walked several times to Playa Las Gatas and I really enjoyed being in the perfect place to have both beaches as an option. The accommodations are very well set up and nicely decorated. We put all of the little extras to use: ipod docking station, orange juicer, cooking service, boogie boards, etc... Robin was really great to deal with and his well put together tips and information sheet was invaluable for getting around and accessing medical help for the bronchitis I picked up in Mexico City. We're very pleased with our stay and would certainly recommend it.
