Our affordable condo is located at Island Retreat #18 at 700 Island Retreat Road in beautiful Port Aransas. Want to see the ocean? It's right outside your door viewing it from a shared balcony.
The condo is located on the 2nd floor and has two double beds, so sleeping 4 is no problem. We also provide fluffy towels, no thin, cheap hotel type towels here!
There is a small kitchen but no stove is provided...who wants to cook on vacation, anyway? We do provide a full sized refrigerator and a microwave so heating up left overs from your favorite island restaurant is an added bonus. Or better yet, cook some of your favorite items at home and bring them with you! The sink in the kitchen is apartment sized and the counters have enough room to store small items. We provide dishes and silverware in the kitchen area.
Island Retreat has two swimming pools, playground areas, BBQ areas and boardwalks through the dunes to access the beach.
No worries about staying cool this summer here ~ we just installed a new central air conditioning unit!

We had a great stay in July. The Condo is is in a great location, convenient to everything you want in a Port A trip. Our kids had a blast. Stayed at Island Retreat unit #18 March 2012 for 3 nights. Nice clean little efficiency condo with all the amenities. The unit does not have a stove. it has a full size fridge, microwave, toaster and sink. All silverware plates and other kitchen items as well. Condo was not far from the boardwalk leading to the beach. It was also not a far walk to the Beach Lodge, the only restaurant directly on the beach. My husband, myself, and our two young girls recently stayed here for a week. Had a great time. Condo was nothing fancy, but was clean, had everything we needed, was very close to the beach, pools, playground...The woman that met us to give us the keys was so friendly and extremely helpful. We had an awesome time and will definitely be back. I absolutely reccommend this place!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

Owner special! 3 nights for $339 (includes13% Hotel Occupancy Tax - A refundable $100 security deposit is additional. We refund the deposit by mail after departure if no damage to the condo and our check out procedures are followed. Less than 3 night rentals are $125 / night plus 13% Hotel occupancy tax & deposit.
