Our family of 4 stayed at the house, with my parents. It was perfect for our needs, it is spacious, and very well presented. We particularly enjoyed sitting out on the covered porch in the mornings with our coffee..... It is a short walk or bike to the beach, which is a very pretty beach, and perfect for flying kites. My kids loved it. And of course, its proximity to Rehoboth Beach made it easy for going to dinner, if you don't want to cook. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children.

This property is convenient to Rehoboth Town, and perhaps a couple hundred yards from Silver Lake and, beyond that, the ocean. Wild birds, mallards and parrots, are everywhere. It is situated in a more settled part of the community. The house itself has two levels, three sleeping bedrooms, bath, laundry, downstairs, spacious and well designed living room, fireplace, kitchen upstairs. Oh and did I mention the deck? The owner has furnished the kitchen thoroughly with cookware, whether looking for a simple meal or more exotic baking needs. The house has been newly refurbished, and evident care has been taken into the accommodations and their upkeep.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, tourists without a car.

I love this house for a whole host of reasons. First, it's VERY spacious and comfortable. We had seven people staying in the house, and the open floor plan (on the main floor), bedrooms, kitchen and huge deck meant we were never tripping over each other. The second thing going for this house is its proximity to the beach. It's about a 10 min walk, and you can literally hear the waves crashing from the deck. Third, while the neighborhood is walking distance to downtown, it's really tucked away--affording you a real sense of privacy away from all the traffic and noise. Bottom line, I'm a BIG fan and would highly recommend this house. It's perfect for a group of friends or families with kids.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

Owner info
Year Purchased: 2003
About the owner: My 12 year old son and I purchased this home for summer vacations and off-season weekends (when soccer allows). We enjoy the home's close location to the beach and hope others can enjoy it and the Rehoboth area as much as we do.
Why the Owner Chose Rehoboth Beach:
Since we live in a busy, urban neighborhood in Washington DC, we wanted a location that was quiet but close enough to walk to the beach and ride our bikes to downtown Rehoboth. The beauty of the two nearby lakes was also a huge draw.
