  The hosts are wonderful. The home is great. We've been up to the Crestline/Lake Gregory area often. This is the 4th facility we've used, and hands-down the best. The grandkids said "Let's come back next year." Which we will. We've already reserved space for next year. Need I say more.

  Recommended for: Families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

  Everything about the time we spent in your cabin was perfect. From the friendly greeting and immaculately clean quarters to the the access to cut firewood, movies, and toys you made my extended family's stay a time that we will remember forever... in a positive way.   I just got back from my vacation in Lake Arrowhead with 14 of my friends and it was very hard to leave. The cabin is beautiful and clean! We all slept very comfortably in the beds provided and there was enough space for everyone to sit and play board games throughout the night. We didn't go out much because it was raining while we were there, but the cabin was so great, none of us minded staying indoors. When the weather did clear up though, it's just a short drive to the village and shops and if you need to do a run over to Wal Mart or another large retailer, driving down the mountain only takes about 15-20 minutes. The owners were very nice and accommodating and answered all my emails and questions before we checked in. After this weekend, my friends talked about making a trip out to this cabin every winter or summer! Highly recommended.

  This is a great vacation home for a large family getaway. The owners were gracious and helpful. I loved having all bedding and towels provided. The toys and games for young children was extremely helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this to our friends.

  Second time here.. This time I invited my sisters n their familes to join us.. We went up Sept 9 to the 11.. I love this place... The first time I fell in love.. My husband my kids love it. The rooms are great very homey beautiful decor. The beds... the master upstairs its so comfy my son loved it... We ad I will continue toto rent it from Anita.. Shes a wonderful person friendly kind shes great!!! We will continue to keep going!!!

  Our family traveled a long way to stay at this place. The beds were very very uncomfortable; one bed was impossible to sleep in because it was as hard as a rock and the couch bed had to have outdoor furniture pads under the mattress in order to even make it sleepable. On top of that, one of the window screen shades with wood frame, approx a six foot each side isoceles triangle , fell about 15 feet on top of me and injured my shoulder (this was in early July) and I continue to suffer from that injury. The owners 'blew it off'-I am quite upset!!!!!!! I would not recommend this property-good beds and safety are essential!!!

  Owner response: Thank you for your comments about our beds. We have had over 100 bookings and you are the first to say anything. Our solution has been to order more memory foam mattress toppers. We have a thick memory foam topper on the master bedroom king bed. We have a memory foam topper on the firm extra long queen Cabin room bed. One the grandma room single bed and one on the double bed in the bunk room. The padding we have between the mattress and the springs on the pull out bed are not outdoor pads. They are 4” upholstery foam pads that I covered in a sturdy outdoor patterned upholstery fabric. They have never been used outdoors. The guests we’ve had recently seem to really like the changes.   We rented this home for the July 4th holiday weekend this year (2011) and had an amazing experience. The home's owners were very charming and helpful throughout the process. I would not call this a cabin, but a beautiful home that the owner's live in part-time which means it is filled with everything you might need. The only thing we needed to bring besides our personal belongings were beach chairs and beach towels for our days at Lake Gregory just down the road. There were PLENTY of beds, so we never had to use the air mattress we brought just in case. There is a lovely wrap-around deck with pretty flowers and plants that over look a creek in the back. To hear the running water at night while we bbq'd and made s'mores by the small wood burning fire was a very peaceful experience. Needless to say, we highly recommend this home for a fun-filled escape for your entire family!

  I was totally impressed!! When we drove up it was such a beautiful home. It is easy to get to and we loved since we were also able to visit Lake Arrowhead. There was a lot of peace and quiet and we had the privillage of enjoying Nature. The room set up was excellent. The Balconys also were great with the bar-b-Que and all the tables and chairs to sit on. The Living room was excellent to just sit on the couch and take a nap and here the runnnig water that was coming from the creek. I will truely recommend this to all my family and friends. I can wait to go back!! Thank you Anita!!!

  We visited this cabin for a weekend to spend time with friends. The cabin was in great and clean condition. The owner was helpful, friendly, and concerned for our needs. The views and enviroment were very relaxing. We are looking forward to going back son again.

  There were two families that went up to spend time at this cabin and all 10 of us fit very comfortably there. We were fortunate to have snow fall while we were there and so there was lots of time for fun outside. The house was full of videos and games for the kids and all the adults enjoyed the space that was large enough for everyone to have there own recliner in the family room. The photos were very accurate and do not do it justice as it has beautiful high ceilings on the main floor. Everything was clean and if we had questions, the owners were just a phone call away. We were really privileged to stay in such a great house for the weekend. Thank you to Ken and Anita for sharing their home with us.
