All new beds and mattresses, stainless steel appliances and granite in the kitchen with an eat in bar that leads into the backyard where there is an outdoor shower. The brand new central air conditioning and on demand water heaters are a great amenity! Perfect location where you can relax or do many different types of activities. My husband and I recently lucked out by scoring a short 3 day weekend at this cute little Jersey shore Gem in lovely Lavellette. It is a vintage cottage with a recent facelift that managed to keep it's original charm intact. Bright,clean and modern, yet wonderfully nostalgic of the summers of my childhood. Perfect for a young family or a mature couple looking for a relaxing week at the beach. A relatively short walk will bring you to the beach, shops, ice cream spots and restaurants including the Crabs Claw (evening entertainment and great sea food.) The owners are super hip folks that are very knowlegeable about the area, and were pretty much down with what's hot or not. We shared some wine and conversation in the evening that iced our vacation cake. We had a great time and can't wait to go back!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car.
