Cabin on Lake Crabapple
Jim and I bought a little fishing cabin on Lake Crabapple in 1991. We started our new venture with a sand filter septic system and progressed to what is today, our cottage is a high rafted cedar cottage with charm, comfort and a feeling that is close to perfection.
The wooded hill across the road from the cabin also belongs to the property and that is where the ladder to the loft was cut and crafted. The sunroom is wrapped in floor to ceiling Pella Windows and the living room and kitchen pine floors are original.
Totally livable with washer, dryer, dishwasher, walk in closet, large bath with steam shower. Sleeps a family comfortably which includes a double built in, 9 tube waterbed and a delightful loft area which overlooks the living room.
An expansive butcher block bar fills the kitchen and is completed with a renaissance double metal sink, glass cupboard doors, a see through glass cabinet and a lovely Lindal Garden Window overlooking the lake.
A beautiful new double tiered cedar deck connects to the dock so you can enjoy swimming, boating or tubing.
We devoted 19 years creating a place where dreams do come true while our 180 degree lake view is performing its magic of lights, shadows, wildlife and sounds. The quiet and beauty defies your not being peaceful.

We had a wonderful September weekend at the cottage, The pictures don't do it justice - it is so beautiful there and the cabin was fully stocked and comfortable. We were able to bring our dogs and have great fun just relaxing. We live just north of Seattle and needed a vacation when we didn't have time to take one. The quiet, beauty and charm of the cottage gave us that battery recharge that we needed. We will definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends and family

My teenage boys, their friends, our dog and I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect presented with this property. No miss leading here, what you see is what you get….plus a lot more! Working with the Meyer's is an absolute delight! They made us feel so welcome; made sure we were comfortable and had everything we could possibly need. Not to mention they provided everything to make smore's by the fire pit....what an unexpected treat! We had the pleasure of meeting wonderful neighbors and their pets too! Just one of the many joys of beautiful Crabapple Lake. Only 40 minutes from our home, 10 minutes from the freeway, seemed an eternity away. My only recommendation would be to my fellow travelers. With this being such an awesome vacation site it is prone to have little to no availability so......book in advance! In saying thank you for the memory and adding to the natural beauty. In an old tree stump in the yard, we chose to plant a flower or two. Maybe we’ll see them on our return. Maybe we’ll see that of other fellow travelers as well. Without a doubt, I would recommend the cottage to everyone I know and already have too many. With only being home a handful of days we’ve had several conversations about how much we miss the cottage…….oh, how we miss the cottage! Special thanks to Bruce, Jennifer and the Lambrights. We thank you so much for the memories. Absolutely delightful! 100%....Eureka!
