  Visited with my girlfriend and absolutely loved the stay. We are both surfers, so we just loved using the House Bikes to ride to check the surf, take our boards to the surf and go a few blocks over for coffee and breakfast. Wonderful. And after a chilly long surf - little was better than a jacuzzi followed by outdoor shower. It's just a real homey comfortable house, not at all ostentatious but private and low key - just how you want it to be in Santa Cruz. Well maintained and clean - we would do this again in an instant - but invite friends next time to enjoy it with us- the outdoor bbq and deck were fantastic for lounging.

  We stayed at the Pleasure Point Beach House for a long New Years weekend and absolutely loved it. The home was in great condition and the yard was perfect for playing with our two young kids. I particularly enjoyed the hot tub during the cool evenings. There were beach cruisers for our use which were great for strolling down East Cliff Dr. We also enjoyed pulling the kids down to the beach in the wagon that was available to use. The kids really enjoyed looking at the tidepools during low tide where we found many sea anemone's, crabs, starfish and urchin's. Overall a wonderful home in a great location with easy access to the beach and many local restaurants. There are a couple of great coffee shops just a short bike ride away as well as awesome breakfast burrito's at Chill Out Cafe and several great Sushi and Mexican food options. I would highly recommend this home for anyone looking for a fun beach area rental in one of the best areas of Santa Cruz.

  We had a great time here! It was the first time we stayed in this area and it was perfect, ten minutes drive to the Boardwalk, 1 1/2 miles to the cute town of Capitola and walking distance to the surf beaches and 41st Street. My husband and I biked to Santa Cruz and Capitola. Our daughter and her friends spent a day at the Boardwalk and another day learning how to surf, they had a blast! The house is well maintained, we barbequed and used the hot tub every night!

  My friends and I stayed at the beach house while in the Santa Cruz area for a wedding. The location is exceptional and the house is very comfortable. There were three of us here for three nights and we could not have asked for a nicer place to spend a few days. Walking down on Pleasure Point was a real joy and the house has everything you need for a great stay. We used the hot tub two of hte three nights that we were there. Thanks for a great experience.

  This beach house was an amazing surprise! There was WiFi internet and a laptop waiting upon our arrival. The cabinets were filled with staples and even the outdoor shower and bathroom had fresh spa soap. It was a pleasant surprise to show up to a rental and have everything I would expect in a house of my own, right down to beach cruisers! Very comfortable with a family with kids or two couples. Easy beach access and shopping.

  I was looking for a quiet place to show my mother, who is visiting from France, what Californian life is like and for my wife, who is from Costa Rica, to relax a little... and we all loved the house. My mother thought the house was very clean and very nicely decorated. My wife thought the backyard was very well designed (and she a landscape designer, so I guess it's a real compliment). We all loved the seat under the jasmine, the hot tub, and the sunny deck. I loved that I could just pick up my surfboard, walk to the beach, surf one of the nicest break I ever surfed, walk back to the house, and rinse off in the outside shower. I intend to recommend this place to all my friends who are visiting and are looking for an authentic taste of California and hope I can go back soon.

  My family had a fantastic weekend in Pleasure Point. The house was equipped with everything we needed.. it was so nice not to have to run to the store just for sugar, etc..!! Super location ... we walked 2 blocks to the beach every day and rode the bikes all around Pleasure Point for lunch and shopping... they even had kid bikes with training wheels. The back yard is fantastic... really private with nice outdoor seating and a hot tub right off the deck. We will definitley be back for more good times!

  We spent four days enjoying this beautiful place with our two college age daughters. The house is super cozy and perfect for a family. Great neighborhood! We loved taking walks and bike rides to the beach, Capitola and to 41st Avenue. The home is on a nice quiet street and has a wonderful private back yard with a great hot tub to relax in after a busy day. During our stay we visited the Boardwalk and went to the free Friday night beach concert there which was a lot of fun for all ages. I would definitely recommend this place if you want to enjoy a great time near the beach and feel as comfortable as being at home.

  My family (me, my wife & 4 year old) has stayed here on several occasions. We'll keep coming back to... it's just an easy place to relax, take walks, bike, bbq, etc.. nothing fancy, just easy living for a few days. A big plus for us is that the house and yard are super kid friendly. Also, if you are a dad who surfs, this house couldn't be more perfect.
