We could not have happened upon a better place to stay. We all enjoyed the wine tasting with Jeff even though our other obligations made it a quick one. The wild turkey and quail right outside our bedroom were a real added treat, and the skydivers were truly amazing. We had our kids and their spouses with us and six adults had more than enough room. The home is beautiful and very comfortable. Watching the fog roll in each morning was great. The meals on the deck with that view just could take your breath away. I don't think we could give Icaria too many superlatives. Wow!!!!!!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with young children.

We rented this home in Cloverdale- not Healdsburg as listed. It is a lovely setting with views that are spectacular. This is a working vineyard so there is activity at the home but it was nice and gave a nice inside look at how a small family winery works. The one piece that is different from all of the homes we have rented is that there is a lot of personal items in this home. It felt like the owners may live there when it is not rented. This home would have had 5 stars if it had been cleared out more and feel more like a rental than someones personal home. Everything is well stocked, beds were comfortable, very quiet setting, great star gazing.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.

Our stay at Icaria Creek Vineyard was very memorable. My wife and I and two other couples spent a week at the vineyard house and it was very accomodating. There was plenty of space for the six of us and the views of the vineyard were spectacular and peaceful. The house had everything we needed to complement our stay and having morning coffee overlooking the vineyard was very tranquil. We had the opportunity to meet with the owner of the vineyard and share his fine wine. We had a great time exploring the nearby towns such as Cloverdale and Healdsburg and taking part in the local activities. We would recommend this property as a nice place to stay as long as you have a transportation to be able to explore the area.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway.

We started and ended every day of our visit with the view from the deck. The accommodations were fantastic and given that we did most of our winery visits in the Alexander Valley, the location was perfect! We would definitely visit again.Recommended for: Girls getaway, romantic getaway.

WOW! Beautiful property! The interior is beautiful and all about the view. The owners put a lot of thought into the house; it is stocked with everything needed. The detail in the construction is perfect, the more time you spend at the house the more you appreciate the detail. A huge plus is the three bathrooms, each modern and spotless. For those unfamiliar with northern Sonoma County, this house is perfectly located to wine taste, play in the river or access the coast. Looking forward to staying again soon.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children.

Six girlfriends and I rented this house for a weekend getaway. We had a fantastic time and can't wait to come back. The house and property are beautiful; we purposefully lazed around in the mornings and came "home" between wine-tasting and dinner to get maximum time to enjoy the house. We found the location -- more in the countryside than in the heart of Healdsburg -- peaceful and convenient (still just a 15-minute drive to both Healdsburg and many wineries). We also found the house spacious, with enough room in the master bedroom for us to put down two air mattresses so everyone could have her own bed. And the kitchen is delightful and fully equipped with anything you might need for cooking. We highly recommend that you stay here!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children.

Owner info
Year Purchased: 1989
Why the Owner Chose Healdsburg:
We started this vineyard in 1989, and it is in full production of Chardonnay, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. The total acreage is 50, however only 30 acres is planted in grapes. We are welcoming you as our guests into our Dream Home" that we built and have the opportunity to enjoy many months out of the year. The majority of our grapes are sold to St. Francis Winery in Sonoma County which is well known and respected for its wines. Our winery, Icaria Creek Vineyards is located on the premise and our son, Jeff is the wine maker.
