  Lovely, small 2-bedroom apartment. A bit loud (street noise - pedestrians, cars, scooters), even late at night, so you need earplugs if you are a light sleeper. But great location in heart of Latin Quarter: One minute to Rue Mouffetard and Pantheon, 7 minutes to Notre Dame, 3 minutes to Cardinal Lemoine metro stop on one side and Luxembourg Garden on the other. Up four flights (remember, in France the 3rd floor is on what would be the 4th floor in the U.S.), so not for the frail.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

No one had ever talked about the noise, but I understand that it may be sensitive to this. Especially after a tiring day in the streets of Paris!   I arrived with 4 of my friends to an adorable apartment. Christine was very welcoming when we finally got there and told us all of the information that we needed to know. The location was excellent since we were so close to monuments, the RER and restaurants and bars. Especially with us being 21, we loved the location since everything was at our finger tips. In the future, we didn't think it was needed for Sarah to come everyday to clean since we didn't make a big mess and it seemed unnecessary. We thought it would be better if she came on an as-needed basis. But overall, our stay was great and Christine and Sarah were more than helpful and friendly.

  Hi! We booked this apartment during Christmas Holidays and New 2013 Year! As I was organizing this trip for my relatives and friends, here is my feedback about my cooperation this the owner of this apartment. So we booked this apartment 1.5 months in advance, the location was great and we decided to book the apartment for 6 people. I need to say that my communication with the owner was really fast and great, she answered all my questions, was giving me good explanation about everything. We sighed the housing contract and she have sent me her bank account details. I Paid the deposit and that was it. She sent me the approval of the payment receiving, and also helped us - I asked for the special letter for the Russian Embassy and she provided it to us immediately -so we don’t have any problems for visa applying in Russia. Unfortunately me and my husband couldn’t go to Paris because of our personal problems, but our friends visited the apartment with pleasure. They told us that for 4 persons is was really ok, but for 6 persons the apartment is a little bit small. Before arrival we contacted the owner about the late flight to Paris and she gave us the personal cell-phone numbers of the lady who was waiting at the apartments for my friends. This apartment is a nice option to stay in Paris like a local citizen and enjoy it! Unfortunately I didn’t visit it this time, so I hope my friends will also leave a feedback about their staying. But from side of the manner of organizing and helping the potential tenants the owner behaved perfectly! I like it a lot!

  We stayed in this lovely apartment for one week in december 2012. Sarah and Christine were wonderful hosts and helped us with so many things, including computer problems and finding a medical laboratory for Cecilia’s necessary regular lab work. The place was warm and comfortable for 5 people and very tastefully decorated. I was able to walk to the Jardin des Plantes, Notre-Dame and the National Museum of Natural History. The Place Contrescarpe and cafes along Mouffetard became part of our adapted lifestyle; and sipping wine, cafe creme, or kir and people watching on Contrescarpe was full of memories; one for each of the cobblestones in this wonderful Maison des Trois Jardins. The kind man and woman concierge were also very helpful to us. This was a magical visit. Many thanks to the owners of this apartment for keeping it so lovely for visitors. The location is charming; quiet on the Estrapade side and active and exciting on the Rue Mouffetard side. Perfect setting for Latin Quarter ambiance.   My four friends and I stayed at this lovely apartment and couldn't have been happier with our experience. Our concierge Sarah was great, she was very helpful with the apartment, gave us a metro map that was the best thing EVER and gave us some advice on places to eat. The apartment was really nice, lots of storage, comfortable and had all the amenties. The apartment building was very nice, we felt very safe with the security, it was quiet and with the windows open there was a wonderful breeze. Lots of great places to eat close, who could ask for anything more!

  We really enjoyed our stay at this cute apartment. The beds and amenities were very comfortable and we enjoyed the light airy bedrooms. The living room was tiny but met our needs. We liked being in a residential area with real Parisians but still close to Rue Mouffetard, the Pantheon and plenty of places to eat and shop for wonderful food.

  What a lovely place to stay! Great, safe location that is but a short walk to the metro with nearby food and shopping options. If you're not feeling the metro, it's a lovely walk to the monuments and sites of Paris. The three flight walk-up with luggage is a bit daunting after a long flight, but well worth it considering the numerous amenities in the apartment and the price. Very clean with all the "accoutrements" to make this a home away from home. We appreciated much the household of Sarah (approximately three times per week) The living/dining space is a bit small, but cozy. The bedrooms are spacious with a lot of storage. The space easily accommodated 5 guests.

  The apartment was exactly as advertised and almost exactly what we had expected to find. It was very comfortable to stay in with our 3 children.The welcome by Sarah was very warm and she thought of everything to make our stay as comfortable as possible. They provided excellent directions to the apartment as well as providing lots of information on the local area as well as places to go and things to do in Paris. There were also many books and travel guides and a laptop so we could do our own research as well. I was shown through the apartment and had everything explained to me (microwave, garbage collection etc) and made to feel a very welcome guest. In addition the kitchen was also stocked with essentials like a wide variety of teas and coffee, cleaning liquids and spices as well as plenty of pots, pans, plates and cutlery, and much more. Sarah were extremely helpful both before and after our arrival, but never intrusive in any way. The location was superb -within walking distance of many intersting places to visit as well as being close to two metro stations as well as supermarkets and local markets. It is tucked on a quiet street closer Rue Mouffetard, the oldest street in Paris that is an all day market brimming with the best cheeses, breads, pastries, produce and restaurants you could ever dream of. Ernest Hemmingway's residence was also just around the corner, there is amazing historical significance of the area, you are only a t 10 minute walk from Notre Dame, 3 min from the metro, you could not ask to be in a better location. We highly recommend this to anyone looking for a romantic getaway or any excuse to get to Paris. This little place is definitely where we will be staying in the future.

  Only thing good about this place is location everything else is crappy with worst service. Apartment manager was rude to begin with I told the owner that we will be arriving at 2.pm and when I arrived at 3.pm the manager/ care taker for the apartment was made because we were late by an hour and then she sent us back saying apartment is not ready. Apartment is old and gives old hotel smell and all things seem to be falling apart. The most horrible part came when we checked out and was given the deposit back. When we were about to leave the manager came and started accusing us breaking the sofa bed on which my 10 year old slept for two nights. She was the one who pulled the sofa bed for us and we couldn’t put it back together properly. She started Harassing and threatens us to call the police and said she would hide some drugs in the apartment and call the police. In The end I was the one ended up calling the police to get rid of her. I should have looked at another negative review which had complained about similar pull out bed problem as well. If you don’t want ruin your vacation stay away from this apartment. On the other note Paris was wonderful and would definitely visit again.

  Owner response: "What can I respond to something so ridiculous? We are sorry that Mr. Salif K. saw fit to denigrate our apartment because we had some cultural divisions. While he only stayed two nights, as he himself says in his email. If he had stayed longer, we dare not even imagine what he would have accused us of! We are registered for two years on VRBO, as you can see in the "Owner Profil" and we have two apartments (N 309883 and 349200). I think if we were irresponsible owners, as claimed by Mr Salif K., we would certainly not have many good reviews. So I can only invite our prospective tenants to compare the assessments of our thirty two apartments with Mr. Salif K's accusations. I hope it will be enough to see that we are responsible owners, having at heart the welfare of our tenants. We are also one of the few owners offering free cleaning services about twice a week included in our prices. Last thing, we specify that we never use the automatic button VRBO."
