Everything you need from wine or champagne glasses, spice rack, upgraded linens and towels, hair dryer, electric tea pot, reading library, games, and more is there for you.
The perfect place to relax at the end of your ski/hiking/ golf/ fly fishing/ biking/ tennis/ horseback riding or whatever the activity on your vacation day. Sit on your private, covered, patio in the summer or even a warm, sunny, winter /spring day with your glass of wine or champagne and enjoy the bright and vivid sunset, watch the local red fox come to greet you or watch a deer graze in the grass or a moose down in the willows as you also see the town a short walk below and down the hill.
iIn the summer, enjoy the colorful wildflowers and hummingbirds. In the winter, enjoy the bushy tailed red fox who comes to greet and pose for you to see through the windows, or make a snowman or sled on a nearby hill after a day on the slopes. Build a fire in the wood burning stove and listen to the wood crackle and watch the snowflakes gently drop from the sky.
In the summer or winter, you can begin hiking or skiing right out your door, take a short walk of 3 1/2 blocks to downtown stores and shops or catch a bus at the stop 1/2 block and ride to t It is a location that is hard to beat!
After a day outdoors, you can build a fire in the wood stove and sit around the coffee table with a board game or just lounge in a comfortable chair or sofa in front of the fire with a good book - one of ours from our guest library - or one of yours. Or watch a movie from ours or your movie collection.
Designed for the out of doors folks. Comfortable bench in spacious hall area for changing shoes & boots with a large basket under bench for gloves, ski passes, goggles, gaiters etc. and big wood carved coat hooks in hall for parkas, jackets and more. In bathroom, big hooks for towels and cabinet with drawers for everyone's personal items,
Tyra Complex includes 3 Hot tubs along with an outdoor gas grill on premises at neighboring building. Owners can provide, upon request, access to local community pool a short drive. The Recreation Center pool is also available to guests along with many other rec center amenities. Single or Multi-day use passes may be purchased at the Center.

Included are all linens/ dishes/ cookware/coffee-maker, coffee filters/ electric teapot/ toaster/an abundance of pots, pans, dishes, glasses, utensils/ basic condiments/ humidifier / hair dryer /and upgraded linens. We supply much more than the minimum basics and have more than one cup and one glass per person and enough so you can opt to run the dishwasher once a day and not every time you use a dish. Basic condiments and spice rack are there for your use in a kitchen that will have all you need.

Lock Box is inside the lighted porch to make check-in a no brainer. Put the entry key back in the lock box as we provide two additional keys inside the unit for your convenience and use during your stay.

Repeat guests receive additional perks. Early booking rates may apply. Discounted rates for 7 days to 14 day stays. Designed for the destination vacationer for that perfect getaway. Best rates are for 7 night bookings. Minimum stay requirements apply and vary depending upon time of stay. No 1 to 3 night bookings accepted. Posted rates are for two people. Slight additional charge for extra persons. Kid friendly accommodation yet perfect for a couple in a very romantic setting.
Our place is also our guest home for our family and closest friends and, once in a while, we will trade with other skiers for their units at their home ski resorts during the non holiday times.
For our guests, we offer local tips, skier or hiking check lists, our secret ways to navigate the mountain and more. We'll also share our healthcare providers - if you find yourself in need, which we hope you won't but that sometimes happens - ski shop folks, restaurants, and more. If you are a black diamond skier or a very strong blue and want to follow us early on a Tuesday or Wednesday morning for a warm-up lap let us know and we will see you at the lift. In the summer, we can share our favorite places to hike depending upon your skill level.
Want to do a day drive trip, we have a lot of good options there, too, for you especially in the summer. In the winter we can share with you about other winter activities if you want a day off the mountain and a change of pace. Why the Owner Chose Tyra Summit
The reason we selected this property was because of its superb location close to the ski lift, the hiking trails, and the town, because of the spectacular views, and we also liked having a property in a building with only a few other units, and parking just outside our door. We do not like to have to travel through long hallways, or to ride elevators to access our home. (We find many of those buildings to have all sorts of odors - especially cooking odors -in addition.) It is important to us to be able to open our door and step right outside.
We enjoy the sunsets and the views from our windows and patio and the sunshine that makes our place so light and bright. We feel as though we are in the mountains yet still in close to town shops and thus have the best of both worlds.
This is also our home for our guests and our family and the location as well as the amenities could not be better.

Best location, splendid mountain views, updated and completely remodeled, very cozy and homey unit with many mountain decorator touches, light, bright and sunny throughout. You will have the opportunity see our wonderful mountain wildlife and with luck return home with great photographs of these special creatures. Hiking and skiing are both right outside your door, yet you are close to town shops and restaurants and close to town transportation. The perfect place for your mountain stay. Owners are local and can assist you as needed with insider tips about our town, the mountain, or the county.

We have both been skiing and hiking in the Colorado mountains for the past several decades - since the era of long skis, lace boots and stretch pants! We planned to move here probably from the time of one of our earlier visits years ago.
It is just something we always knew we would do.
And, we were happy to make this our full-time home about a decade ago when we both retired from corporate America.
The reasons we selected Breckenridge were because of its beauty, the small town appeal, its rich history, the friendliness of local folks, and the blend of well-educated, diverse, interesting, and active retirees as well as to continue to pursue our outdoor activities that include primarily skiing, hiking and golfing.
Our life here has been enriched not only by those with whom we have met and who have become part of our circle of friends but also by those who come and visit here who allow us to share with them our special part of this world.

We stayed at the property the first 2 weeks of January, 2012 and found everything just as advertised. The owners go to great lengths to make sure their guests are happy. Their place is clean, comfortable, convenient to the Snowflake lift, and we had everything we needed at our fingertips. The condo is well-equipped with plenty of kitchen utensils, glasses, etc. plus a nice selection of spices for cooking. A nice touch was a surprise goody bag left for us at the top of the stairs one day when we were out skiing (really loved the M&Ms and hot chocolate packs). We received two phone calls while we were there: one to make sure everything was up to our expectations just after we arrived and the second at the end of our trip to make sure we knew what time check-out was and how long it would take us to get the Denver airport. I hope that next time we come through we'll get to meet the owners since they live in Breckenridge. Thanks for everything and we hope to visit again in the future! (And we did get a couple of glimpses of the local fox trotting early evening.)

It was beautifully decorated and exceptionally appointed with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. We loved being able to walk to the ski lift and town without having to move our car. Your guestbook was extremely helpful in answering any questions we may have had. We look forward to being able to stay with you our next trip to Breck and would highly recommend your condo! My husband and I had the best time on our last visit to Breckenridge. We were there from 1/23 - 1/27/10. Wayne and Patricia provided more than a rental, they made it feel like home. The unit was easy to find. Parking is right in front of the unit and you really can ski out and ski home in the afternoon. Lift purchases are available at the base of the Snowflake Lift which makes everything so easy. With the location of this unit, it makes it very easy to gain access to multiple peaks which was a plus. The condo is very clean. The kitchen has every possible pan, bowl or utinsil you could possibly want. We also liked the fact that the unit had a washer/drier located inside. Each evening we would ski home and settle in on the couch and watch the snow fall. We were fortunate enoguh on our visit to see beautiful foxes running by and playing in the snow. We will be back to Breckenridge and we will be contacting Wayne and Patricia for availability. Everything is exactly as they desrcibe - no surprises!

We truly enjoyed staying in your winter vacation home. There were so many nice touches (bath robes, luxury towels, hairdryer, granite counters, washer/dryer, games, books, humidifier, beautiful etched shower tiles, etc.) that we felt right at home. We loved being able to ski in and out - actually coming home for lunch a few days. Thank you for your restaurant and dog sledding recommendations. We truly enjoyed ourselves and wished that we didn't have to leave.
