We, Michael and me and our Blue Heeler, Maggie Mae, stayed in this condo July of 2011. We found it to be wonderful. It is one condo away from the pool and the gated walk to the ocean. Ridgewood Ave is beautifully landscaped with sidewalks and areas to take the dog. Marleen was so nice and cooperative. Everything was as she said it would be. We played by the Golden Rule and left it as nice as we got it....which was nice. You will be expected by the town of Cape Canaveral and probably your own conscience to pick up after your dog, walk it in the appropriate areas and respect the people who live there full time. If you can do that, you will have a wonderful time here. We saw the shuttle reentry from the porch, bought fresh seafood at Wild Ocean, walked on the beach several times a day, and had one of the best summers ever here. It is very worth it. The ocean view is first floor which means you have dunes between you and the ocean so it is minimal. It is excellent for running out the door ...front and back to the pool, the beach, walk the dog, the car...you name it. I can't tell you how relaxing and nice our vacation here was.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, people with disabilities, pet owners, sightseeing, families with young children.

We rented this unit for 4 months the last 5 winters. We enjoyed the place, the neighbors and being so close to the ocean. We would still be renting if we had not purchased a place of our own. Marleen is a great landlord to do business with. When we had any problems (which were very few) they were addressed immediatly. We have wonderful memories of our stays here.
Recommended for:Age 55+, pet owners.
