  I recently spent a week with friends at this beautiful property, and it exceeded our expectations in every way. The house itself was fantastic, well appointed and comfortable. Every detail you'd expect of an island home was thought of, nearly every room of the house has access to the outdoors between the balconies right off of the bedrooms and the living room that walks directly out to the private pool. The backyard is where we spent most of our time, it was perfectly landscaped and the pool was a great setting for us to gather, have drinks, and RELAX. The house is located close enough to the action (Ft. Zachary Taylor park, Mallory Square, museums, etc.) that you won't need a car, but far enough away that you can leave the craziness of Duval street behind and not have the party or the noise follow you home. I honestly cannot think of one thing I'd change. If you are looking for the perfect Key West retreat, this is it. When we return to Key West, we hope it will include another stay at "Big Bamboo."

  We just returned from our family vacation to Key West and can't wait to go back. Big Bamboo was better than expected, a perfect location, the beds were heavenly I even got the name of the company who made the mattress because my temperpedic isn't doing it for me. If you rent a car get a small one it's a little hard to get in and out of the garage with the on street parking, other than that everything couldn't have been better. Thank You Landlord Bill.

  We just returned from a fantastic week at the "Big Bamboo" and can whole heartedly recommend it as the best rental house in the Keys! It's conveniently located to everything that's fun in Key West, and the best part about it is after the craziness of the Keys, you get to walk back home to a community that is prestigous and serene. If you are the kind of renter who loves properties that are well cared for and rented by people who respect all things good, than you've found the right place.

  Our family just returned from Key West, and are happy to say it was one of the best vacations we have been on so far. We have been to Key West numerous other times, so we know we love the islands! Our accomodations this time, are what set this trip apart. The owner of the property is just awesome to work with, and the home speaks for itself. The place is VERY clean, has great decor, a beautiful private pool, plenty of space, and bascially everything we were looking for. We will definately be back to this home in years to come!

  The pictures do not do this house justice! you will be very impressed with the quality and amenities. Sleeps 8 very comfortably and the location is ideal for anyone wanting to enjoy the best of Key West. Walking distance to Duval, the marina, state park, etc. Our group had an amazing New Years in Key West and it was made all the more enjoyable because we had such a nice house to enjoy. Kitchen with everything you need Heated pool with waterfall and jets Granite and glass modern finishes throughout Flat screens TV's with premium channels, HBO, etc. Large front and rear facing balconies Grill with comfortable outdoor table/seating Safe neighborhood with nighttime gates and security French doors throughout for a very open feeling
