Three oceanfront decks provide the option of sun or shade, as you enjoy the rocking chairs, lounges or dining.
The kitchen is well equipped, with all the utensils necessary for cooking or entertaining.
All counter-tops are granite...in the kitchen, nearby wet bar and in every bathroom.
The living area features new furnishings, plus a 46' HDTV with Blu-Ray DVD, I-Pod docking station, AM/FM/CD stereo, wet bar with mini-refrigerator and ceiling fans.
The spacious master bedroom, on the third level, features a private oceanfront deck, 46' HDTV with DVR and VCR, ceiling fans and master bath with two vanities, Jacuzzi tub and walk-in shower.
There are two bedrooms on the first level, one with a queen bed and the other with twin beds. Each bedroom includes HDTV with DVD player and ceiling fan.
There are two bedrooms on the second level, one with a queen bed, TV and ceiling fan. The other bedroom offers twin beds, HDTV with DVD player and a ceiling fan.
This property participates in the Island Club linen service, which means that all beds are made before you arrive. Our guests also have use of a gas grill and an enclosed hot/cold outside shower. Water is treated with a softener.

Our family enjoyed this lovely house with my brother and his fellow Marines before their deployment. We found everything we needed to cook a great Thanksgiving/birthday dinner. Our beds were comfy, the house was clean, the location was convenient, and the weather was perfect. The owner was very easy and prompt to communicate with us. We hope to return here some time in the future!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

The house is just wonderful and spotless to say the least ! There is everything you need, the kitchen is fully stocked. Such a great location as well, the walk down to the beach is so easy. We just loved it and are planning another stay come the fall. Darryl was very responsive and so nice to work with. Our family of 6 adults and 3 small children found this home to be perfect. The bedroom layouts were great for 3 families and the house was roomy, comfortable, updated and very well equipped. The beach was wide, clean and uncrowded. The owner is very accommodating and quick to answer questions. We definitely plan to return in the future. Great value for this price.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

What a grand time we had at this lovely property. It was very clean, well equipped and lovely. We stayed for three nights and were very happy. The beds were made before we arrived and the weather was wonderful. The layout of the house is excellent and the usage of space is very good. WE had a lovely time and I would go back din a "heartbeat".Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, girls getaway.

Home is in excellent condition and very comfortable. We spent Thanksgiving week there and everything we needed to prepare a great holiday dinner was in the very well furnished kitchen. Bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and neat; with fresh linens. The master occupies the 3rd floor with a balcony and is fantastic. Beach chairs and other amenities are there that made this home on the beach excellent. We would not hesitate to come back again, especially if my daughter had the choice.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

The duplex provided everything we needed for a relaxing family weekend. The master bedroom was a delightful retreat with a comfy king bed and just the sounds of the ocean waves to lull you to sleep. We watched the surfers, walked the beach and enjoyed lunch on the deck. Our family visited Fort Macon and the Aquarium at Pine Shores.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

Fabulous vacation spot! Cedars Emerald Isle West was a beautiful duplex that met all of our family needs. Not only were the number of beds and the size of beds perfect, they were comfortable too! The duplex has a fantastic beach location. Works well when vacationing with friends who rent the other side as you can get from one side to the other with the connecting deck. Will look forward to vacationing there again some day! Year Purchased: 2007
About the owner: Originally from Washington, DC, we have resided on the eastern shore of Maryland since 1982. We lived in the Havelock - New Bern area from 1978 to 1982. That is when we discovered the wonders of the Crystal Coast.
Why the Owner Chose Emerald Isle:
We bought this property because it has everything that we want in a beach house. It is conveniently located close to the Rt. 58 bridge, which allows easy access, especially when the beach traffic is heavy.
