Our condominium is a generous two bedroom, two bath, 1052-square-feet of premium space, including a master bedroom featuring a king-size bed. Louvered sliding doors provide privacy yet open to the living room below. Luxuriate in the master bath's huge shower.
Open the doors and let the trade breezes come through. Wonder at the beautiful gardens and exotic plants all around you. Bring your camera.
South seas island style furniture enhances your stay. And the furniture is comfortable too. Pleasant art work adds sparkle and enjoyment .
Did I mention quiet? Maui Kamaole is a low density complex. Away from the usual noise generators like: highways, roads, parking lots, slamming car doors, units crowded together with people trooping by, etc. You will enjoy the quietness - bring some books. And, there is no-one above you tromping around. Mostly you'll hear the breezes and birds.

We stayed here with our 2-yr old son for about 10 days in July. The condo is wonderful - very clean, spacious, and well equipped. The best part is the large lanai with great sunset views and a peek of the ocean. The lanai has a table and chairs and we ate dinner out there many times. One of the pool and BBQ areas is nearby (but not so close that you can hear it), so we were able to BBQ our food and bring it back to our condo - very convenient. We drove about 2 minutes to the beach everyday (a bit too far for a a toddler to walk, but would be fine for older kids/adults). The owner, Dennis, was great - very professional and responsive, and he gave us some great recommendations. Would definitely come here again, and hopefully soon!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, sightseeing, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

Owner response: Every enjoyable having you and family as guest. Understand Riley had a ball. Hillary, in talking to her by phone mentioned once a week the Maui Aquarium has a behind the scenes tour. Recommend you call regarding dates and times. Riley got to hold a sea turtle and feed a hammerhead shark. How great is that for a 5 year old?

We had a great time at Maui Kamaole and felt spoiled there. The unit was just as they described, the property was beautiful, the staff is friendly and helpful, the tennis courts courts new, great pools! Unit was stocked well in kitchen and with outside playthings, and the owners were very kind and helpful from the first phone call. What more could you want?Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

This condo was fabulous. Nice, large, roomy and located in a very nice location. Close to pool. Had all the equipment we needed. Was nice to have use of a cooler and chairs for the beach too. Owners are accomodating, friendly and great help planning our trip. By the way, If you visit during spring and early fall consider attending the Maui Polo, polo matches on Sundays from 1:30 pm to about 4 pm. Great fun and cheap, too! Grab the cooler, throw in some beverages, sandwiches, etc. Lots of action, beautiful horses, excellent horsemanship. Check the Maui Polo website for more details.

My wife and I had a joyful time at the Buckmaster's Maui Kamaole condo. Clean and nice; LCD TV and stereo for a couple of evenings when we stayed in. Nice kitchen for cooking your own meals, although there are many good restaurants close by. You get your very own parking space if you have a rental car. A little over a block to the beach or walk down to the pool. Beautiful complex that is clean and well maintained. Wailea is walking distance via the beach or road to the south. Shops and more to the north in Kihei, but a much longer walk if you like to get your exercise in. We took in the sights around the island and just settled back in comfort when we got back. Just need to find a way to stay longer!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, age 55+, sightseeing, adventure seekers.
Owner response: Path from Buckmaster Condo to Fairmont Hotel Like to walk? 2.85 miles (one-way) of walkers delight. Walk down to the Kihei Boat Ramp. Find path close to the ramp and follow it to Mana Kai Hotel. Get on Keawakapu Beach and walk south along the various beaches to the Wailea Beach Walk which starts at Ulua/Makapu Beach Park. Continue along the walk past the luxury hotels including: Wailea Beach Marriott Resort & Spa, The Grand Wailea, Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea and The Fairmont Kea Lani Maui. Early morning is the best time to enjoy this walk. The beauty is absolutely stunning.

The condo is in a prime location, just above the pool (did not create extra noise), and just a few minutes walk to some of the best beaches on the island. The condo is well appointed, comfortable and has a high livability factor. We felt like it was OUR home! The lanai is heaven and the sunset views from the large lanai can't be beat. We feel that this was an exceptional place to stay and a great deal for the money. Very reasonable rental fees for such exquisite and comfortable accommodations. The fridge is large and held lots of fresh food for meals and the kitchen is well stocked and easy to cook in. We can't wait to return!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, families with young children, girls getaway.

We stayed at the Maui Kamaole and had a fantastic time! Wonderful grounds, pool and location. All the conviences of having your own home on the islands. The owners of this condo are wonderful and want your stay to be everything and then some. We went snorkeling at Molokini with the Quick Silver boat out of Maalaea Harbor. Very fun, good food & drinks afterwards. Big Beach just a very short drive from the condo is fun and entertaining....just watch your back! We will definately be back!Recommended for: Romantic getaway.

What a wonderful place to stay on our vacation!! This condo was a home away from home. Clean, with a wonderful layout. Had everything we could have needed. Drinking coffee in the morning on the beautiful balcony listening to the birds, playing in the two faboulous pools, we even had a bbq there one evening and is was great! Close to town and activities. Snorkling, the aquarium, horseback riding, shopping were all great! Walking distance to beach was great for our family. Kids had the time of their life! I would reccommend highly and stay there anytime!!! Once in a lifetime vacation!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, sightseeing, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

About: Carolyn and I live in the Puget Sound area. Have two sons, four grand children. We are semi retired. Dennis has a 38 year career in corporate and individual career consulting and outplacement services. Carolyn loved her work with special needs children (severe and profoundly disabled) as an instructional aide for the Northshore School District.
Why Maui Kamaole:
We have a long time love affair with Hawaii starting with a military assignment to Hickam AFB on Oahu. Maui is a perfect blend of what we like about Hawaii. Maui Kamaole is arguably the best development in Kihei. We are very proud of our Maui home and really enjoy sharing Hawaii with others.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
It's a great property. We like being away from the roads and enjoy the quiet of our unit. Maui Kamaole, being a low density development, has a very pleasant, even private feeling to it. Our unit is close to the beautiful garden pool, yet far enough away to minimize the usual pool noises. We are also close to Wailea with its' beautiful hotels, walks, beaches, shopping, and golf.
