We just returned from a week of luxury living in this very beautiful home. Important for me was that it be clean, and it was, sparkling clean. Most rentals say they will be clean but they hardly ever live up to my standards, this home was everything they said it would be. I like comfortable beds, and the beds are wonderful. Add to that a nice clean spa to enjoy after a day on the beach. I also give rave reviews on the kitchen where again it was very clean and well equipped. My only problem was being distracted by the great view as I was cooking. It was nice to travel with our dog and have the opportunity to stay in a nice home. Yes we would love to go back again next year.

Fabulous beach home

My wife and I and our 8 year old lab spent 8 days here. This was our second stay and we enjoyed it even more than the first. Photos and descriptions don't do it justice. Such a great home, views are spectacular, clean well equiped home. Beds VERY comfortable. Short walk to miles of beautiful beach. Owner very helpful and easy to deal with. Highly recommend this property. Bandon is a great little town with friendly people, good restaurants and galleries. But we didn't want to leave the house for long. We look forward to our third visit. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home.

My husband and I spent a week in this home. The house and grounds were spotless on our arrival; the owner provided clear instructions on how everything worked. We were extremely pleased with all of our interactions with the owner.The ocean/beach views from the house are terrific and a two minute walk put us right on the beach. Bandon is one of our favorite coastal towns and this house made our vacation nearly perfect.

Thanks so much for the priviledge of renting yoru gorgeous beachfront home. We stayed in January, expecting rain, and overall, not the best weather, but we had 5 gorgeous days, and 2 rainy ones, which gave us the perfect amount of time to have a fire in the fireplace and read a good book! What a relaxing week we had, and the home was everything we could have imagined. VERY clean, and well maintained and the owners were wonderful to work with. Accessible to the beach, golf, stores, and restaraunts, as well as the beach, and hiking. Gorgeous view of the ocean. We could not have asked for a better house! Thanks again, and we will see you next year!

We live in Bandon and noticed your beautiful house when we were at Devil's Kitchen State Park. WOW! When we found out it was a vacation rental, we wanted to rent it out for our family reunion. The house has a great view from almost every room. We knew the family would love being so close to the ocean. They loved the two master suites and the large bathrooms. We used the hot tub/spa the entire time we were there. We thoroughly enjoyed staying there. We were worried about parking but there was lots of room for all our vehicles, even had room for the RVs in the circular driveway. Being from a restaurant family, we all love to cook and the kitchen was very spacious and well equipped with very modern appliances to handle all our needs. My 80 year old parents who have never been on the west coast still rave about the place. They managed well around the house and liked how the house flowed from one room to the next. They were impressed with the lovely fountain in the entryway. We will be back again, thank you for making our family get together memorable, you have a beautiful place!

Bandon Beach Home is absolutely Wonderful!

My wife and our entire family (mother-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, niece, wife's best-friend) spent the Labor Day week at the Bandon Beachfront Villa and absolutely loved it! The home was immaculate when we arrived and the views are breathtaking! The home has all the amenities one could possibly ask for in a vacation rental. The three bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms provide everyone with enough space and personal privacy to insure everone's comfort for an entire week-long family vacation. The luandry facilities in the home are also fabulous, so don't overpack. The beach is via a public access point, and approximately 100 yards from the patio. The Bandon beaches are the most beautiful I've ever seen anywhere, including Greece and Italy. The haystack rocks and tidal pools are incredible and full of vibrant sea life. There is virtually no foot traffic on the beach, so you'll enjoy lots of privacy even though Oregon's beaches are all open to the public. Sunset Magazine just rated Bandon, Oregon as one of the Top 7 beaches in the continental United States, and I completely agree. You will find the beaches pristine and gorgeous and, unlike Washington State beaches, there is no trash or litter to be found anywhere. The city of Bandon has several grocery stores and a lovely downtown specialty shopping district. There are also several upscale restaurants in town as well. The golfing is world class in Bandon, with at least five golf courses for you to enjoy. There is also horseback riding stables available only a few blocks from the house. Guided tours (1.5 hours) are available for riding along the Bandon beach, and I highly recommend this activity. I enjoyed the hoseback riding very much. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our week-long stay at the Bandon Beachfront Villa, and you will too. This is truly a "Five-Star" vacation rental that you'll always remember as a fabulous experience from start to finish!

a great house, great location - a bit old and overated

beautiful location, right no the beach with almost private way to the beach. the house is a bit old, not equipped with top kitchen appliances and silverware, many things arent working properly (like roof window, automatic blinds in the living room, and more) it is definitely great experience and a place i would come back too but no in that price. the owner is very lovely responsive and helpful.

Owner response: We scratched our heads over this review. In the past year alone, we have installed a new dishwasher and state-of-the-art Jenn Air ceramic cooktop, and we have added a countertop microwave/convection oven. The cooktop no longer looked very new when these guests checked out—they let their pots overflow onto the cooktop and did not wipe up, with the result that food was baked onto the surface. It took a couple of hours to clean it, using a razor blade along with a special ceramic glass cleanser to scape off the burnt-on food. We were finally able to get it sparkling clean and looking its true age again (less than one year), but only with considerable time and elbow grease. These guests (or perhaps their children) also pulled down some of our decorative window treatments, which had to be reinstalled (No wonder they didn't work.) As to the age of the house: It is a work of art, maintained to preserve its aesthetic style. We encourage you to look at our photographs: what you see is what you get! (Have you ever heard anyone complain that the Mona Lisa is old? Would anyone want it painted over in contemporary minimalism?) Also, read our many 5-star reviews. Many of our responsible and respectful guests return each year, and more than one have commented that our home is a bargain for something of its size, aesthetics and unbeatable beachfront location. If you compare us with other beachfront listings, you will quickly discern that you cannot beat our price for what we offer.

3 couples of us rode our Harleys from Utah and stayed at this wonderful home for 3 days, it was fantastic! everything about this house exceded our expectations...the house was open and spacious with plenty of room to just kick off the boots and relax, the kitchen was supplied with everything we needed to cook meals and enjoy our morning coffee, the proximity to the beach was perfect! all of the bedrooms were great sized and the windows looking at the ocean was amazing!! No one wanted to leave this house. I would definatley suggest this house if you are going to spend time in this cute little town. If we ever get back to Bandon we will for sure go back here! thanks for helping us build some wonderful memories :)

Perferct family holiday location

We spent 8 days at this beautiful location with 2 families, including 3 kids and a dog. The house is wonderfully located within walking distance to many local sights. We enjoyed beach walks, horse rides, kiting, beach days, sunsets, the zoo and fishing within 15minutes from this location. Kids and parents alike were in awe by the room and general layout of the house - hide and seek wasn't this much fun since I was a kid. This was our first experience with VRBO and are very happy with the result. We're definitely looking forward to our next trip to Bandon and will certainly try to book this location again.

We came to Bandon a few years ago and couldn’t wait to visit again. We really wanted something on the beach this time, as that is where we like to spend our time. The house is very large and open, never feeling cluttered as some smaller rental homes might get. The walk to the beach takes minutes. We would walk for hours. The house is just outside of the town and the beach in that area was far less populated than where we stayed last time. Our final evening was spent walking in the direction away from town and we saw just one other person. It was very magical. Part of the trail down to the beach is paved, but you should know that the final part is a sandy, slight decline. This should only concern someone who may have difficulty walking, and it is harder to get up than down. There is also a public parking area right next to the house, separated by a wall. But we were never bothered by the people who came to walk down to the beach. And there is a bench on a hill where you can sit and watch the ocean if you are too tired to walk anymore. Overall, you have lots of privacy with the constant sound of the ocean. There are great ocean views from the kitchen and dining room while you eat. We only used the master suite, but it is large and clean. The bed is very comfortable. The bathrooms were spotless and well supplied with quality towels. The kitchen has everything you need to make your own meals. I don’t think it was mentioned but you have the use of the garage, making loading and unloading the car very convenient. We only used the spa a couple of times, but when we did, we really needed it after walking all day. You will find interesting shops and fantastic seafood in Old Town along the boardwalk-don't miss it! The owner was very pleasant to work with and sent our deposit back immediately upon our return home. We plan to stay here again.

Just returned from a marvelous 10 days in this home and we enjoyed it to the max..!!! The home is very well appointed and very comfortable with many beautiful accents one does not generally associate with a vacation rental. The owners hve gone above and beyond in providing a very comfortable stay in an exemplary home.!!! The spa was wonderful and very well maintained in a sun room which provided ample nap time for our chihuahuas' while we enjoyed the water and scenery....the beds and furniture were very comfortable and we would highly recommend this home to all,our friends and family .!!!

We could not of asked for a better home to vacation in. We take only one vacation a year, and this year we cancelled our annual Hawaii vacation for a closer to home, relaxing vacation. We found it!! Our family had quality, blissful, relaxing family time with all the comforts. The house was IMMACULATE upon arrival. We only stopped at the grocery store once, and found it easy and flawless to cook our own meals. The house was a dream. The beach was GORGEOUS and I only barely passed 2 other people on the beach our very last day!! We are making this our new spot for family time together. THANK YOU!!

We rented this house for a sisters beach weekend- 5 women. We absolutely loved the house and everything about our stay. The views are amazing, the proximity to the beach made everything very easy and the house was well stocked for cooking and spending time inside as well. The Winter Storms are Amazing

We love going to Bandon in the winter to see the storms. And we certainly were not disappointed!! We could sit in the living room with the dramatic windows and a glow in the fireplace and safely enjoy the breakers, with 20-foot waves on one weekend. It was spectacular. We visited for 2 weeks with another couple and for 3 days with a third couple. The home is so spacious that we almost thought we were alone--there is so much privacy. We love to cook and the kitchen and dining room accommodated all of us nicely. Washing dishes watching the surf makes it play instead of work. The information about the house location was accurate, the pictures reflect the house honestly. The house was clean and well-maintained. If you are looking for house with hands-on owners, you've found the right place. Eldonna was extremely helpful through every aspect of the booking, visit and follow-up. This is definitely a house we will rent again and would recommend it to everyone. We especially appreciated that the owners are willing to rent to pet owners. Our dogs love Bandon and it's a dog's Disneyland on the beach. The beaches are so expansive that you rarely come upon another dog. With the central vacuum system, it was very easy to keep the sand out of the house. The hot tub was especially fun with high waves and rain outside and a nice, comfortable, clean spa overlooking it all. The media area is well-equipped, but we didn't make much use of it, choosing instead to sit in the comfortable living room, watching the ocean, working on jigsaw puzzles. The house sits on a large lot, which also makes it feel much more private. If you are looking for a fantastic, intimate restaurant, the Loft in Old Town was delightful. It had an excellent wine collection for a small establishment, about 8 tables total. The owner is a trained chef and she has a special talent in pairing foods. If you are looking for a unique setting with elegant accommodations, the Beachfront Villa is the place. Thank you, Eldonna, for sharing this special place on the Oregon Coast. We will visit again.

"Hallmark" memories from Bandon

Amazing. Really amazing. These words are seldom used as a description by our 8 year old grandson. However, when he arrived at the Bandon house, it seemed his most shared accolade. Open the front door for an instant 'wow' factor. The house offers a unique architectural design and detailing. The large lot gives the house a position that offer advantages of views that could be used as seascape paintings of the Pacific Ocean. A loft is available for t.v. viewing in real comfort. However, most of our family preferred the warm cozy fireplace and changing panoramic views of a winter storm. Everything we needed was on one lower convenient level. We could step out the kitchen door to a glass enclosed hot tub. The path to the ocean is easily manageable for us senior citizen. Even our dog enjoyed his first encounter with the sand and water. Having used VRBO many times, we speak with experience in saying these owners delivered all that was promised on their site. It was a fun filled retreat for our family as we celebrated a treasured birthday.

Nice, but overated...

The beach, awesome! The views is nice and the house is spacious. In my opinion, having rented many homes and condos for both business and personal use, the owners take too many shortcuts for the price...It wouldn't take much money to set up the kitchen so there were enough supplies to actually cook and serve our group! Utensils were rusted out....2 dishtowels for a week?? Nothing to prepare anything in the oven with. We found it comical that even the dishwasher tabs were counted out, so God forbid you want to run it more than once in a day-which you have to do, 'cause there aren't enough dishes! Exact number of towels as renters... so you need to use the same towels to shower and for use after the hot tub. If we were looking for low budget, there are LOTs of less expensive places to do so?! Could be a great place... but we won't be back. Check in after 4... and check out by 0900??? Silly. PS... They want payment paid instantanously and we had to wait two weeks for our security deposit. Just doesn't seem right :/

Owner response: While we always appreciate constructive feedback from our guests, we are quite honestly bewildered by this review. We take great pride in this home, and we would NEVER, EVER allow these conditions to exist. What more can we say? To address the specifics of the review: Kitchen utensils: None are rusty. And I do mean, unequivocally, NONE. We provide quality stainless steel utensils. We were so concerned by this comment that we immediately double checked all our flatware and utensils, even the can opener, after this review came in, just to be sure. We found not one single item that was rusty. Towels: We provide abundant bath and kitchen towels. In addition to those on the towel bars and kitchen counters, there are extras on shelves in the bathrooms, and in the kitchen pantry. Further, there is a washer and dryer on the premises for guest use, so towels can be washed if necessary for any reason. Kitchen: Our kitchen is fully equipped, and the reviewer does not specify what she feels is missing. Because there are no specifics, we have no idea what the reviewer is referring to. We are nonetheless conducting a thorough review of our kitchen inventory, to see if everything we originally placed there is still present. We have TWO sets of dishes, enough to accomodate far more people than the maximum allowed in our home at any one time. The alleged "comical" counting of dishwasher tablets: In fact, we keep an ENTIRE TUB OF TABLETS under the kitchen sink! Last but not least, we invite and encourage our guests to call us if anything needs attention. We received no complaints or requests from these guests. Security deposit refunds: When guests pay by credit card, we are able to immediately credit the security deposit back to the credit card, and we do. This guest elected to use a personal check so her refund was sent to her via e-check. There may have been a delay of a few days due to the holiday season or the slowness of the US Postal Service, but not as a consequence of any delays on our part. We invite anyone who questions the quality of our home and amenities because of this review to read our numerous other reviews and draw the obvious conclusion. We take great pride in this home, and want the experience of each guest to be the very best we can provide. And that's our pledge to you!

We had a memorable stay at this beautiful beach house in Bandon. We wanted to treat our parents to a trip to the beach and picked this place for its location, spaciousness, and suitability for those who can’t handle stairs. It was so clean, spacious and accommodating. The owners thought of every amenity to make our stay comfortable. We were able to walk right out on the beach with the parents, an experience they will always treasure. Dinner in the spacious dining room was picturesque as we watched the sunset over the ocean. We will definitely be back! Maybe for our daughter’s wedding??

Spectacular experience and home

My husband and I, and another couple, recently stayed at this lovely home and had an absolutely awesome experience. The home is a beautifully designed custom home right on the beach with spectacular white water views. The owners were very accommodating, helpful, and efficient during the booking process and prompt with our security deposit refund. The warmth of the custom fireplace was the highlight of the winter evenings. (My husband says no, the highlight was relaxing in the hot tub just before retiring to the romantic bedroom.) We also loved the large, well-equipped kitchen, big enough for four cooks! Not only did we have a great time cooking gourmet meals, but also we enjoyed watching the incomparable sunsets as we did so. This home offers everything one could want in a vacation rental, and exceeded our expectations in every way.

Our group (4 adults, 3 teenagers and 2 dogs) LOVED this house and it's fantastic location on the Bandon beach. The house is beautiful, nicely decorated and very comfortable. The beds are to die for. I slept the whole night through for all 4 nights, which is unusual for me. Our kids and dogs loved the beach and it was very convenient to clean them off before going into the house. Washer/dryer and all amenities made it nice for eating in and enjoying the views. Wish we could have stayed longer and hope to return again some day. Would recommend this lovely house to anyone. You're in for a treat!

Wow, Amazing Home at the Beach

Amazing Views, from this huge warming home, high ceilings and tall windows made for great ocean surf watching and of course ocean front dining. Fountain in entry way was soothing to listen too, all wide open and inviting. The gourmet kitchen so nice to cook in with ocean view. Hot tub with ocean view very nice,the colors change at night and the deep, long soaking tub in Master bath in a very large elegant bathroom, all rooms are huge. Easy for person with disabilities to get around. Mulit-media loft (upstairs) made it nice for 22 yr old son to play his video games. Nice fireplace made for cozy evenings. Area outside to just sit and watch the ocean as well, easy quick beach access, views of haystacks. Great for our lab, nice lawn/easy access. Park next door was a non-issue.

4 Adults and 2 kids spent spring break at this amazing house. The house was beautiful, spotless clean when we arrived. The location is perfect, the views were excellent. The bedrooms are massive, everything was perfect. We spent hours exploring the beautiful beaches. The owners were super friendly and very helpful when booking the house. There is lots to do in Bandon, there are stable minutes from the house, they take you horseback riding on the beach. I would highly recommend staying here.

This house was magnificent! Location is excellent, the state park next door was actually a great place to play ball with our dog. Beach access was easy and the beach was splendid, long stretch of sand & rocks which make for great tide pools. The house was very clean & the views from the kitchen made cooking a pleasure. The views from the living room are just as nice. We sat by the fireplace and watched the big waves roll in. The upstairs loft is very comfortable to sit back and watch some TV. Thank you for sharing this home with us. We will be back.

Thank you! We had a great time in your amazing home. Your home reminds me of a Villa with all the marble, openness, and huge windows facing the ocean. The sound of the ocean was just what we needed to relax. Normally we would be out at the golf courses and dining out but the views were so great we made our meals in the kitchen and then sat on the deck or in the dining room and relaxed. The beaches were deserted and the pups were able to run for miles without seeing another person - or dog. Like others we were concerned about the proximity of the State Park but it was not an issue. Thanks Again!

Thank you! We had a great time in your amazing home. Your home reminds me of a Villa with all the marble, openness, and huge windows facing the ocean. The sound of the ocean was just what we needed to relax. Normally we would be out at the golf courses and dining out but the views were so great we made our meals in the kitchen and then sat on the deck or in the dining room and relaxed. The beaches were deserted and the pups were able to run for miles without seeing another person - or dog. Like others we were concerned about the proximity of the State Park but it was not an issue. Thanks Again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our week-long stay in this house. The house has a nice flow that optimizes functionality and views. It was very clean and easy to keep clean because of the design, materials and flow of the house. I loved the location relative to the beach and state park. It's a beautiful section of the beach for playing and climbing the rocks. My young boys and dog had so much fun. It seemed to be one of the only places that had easy beach access with no flights of stairs, but rather a paved path through Devil's Kitchen that cut through the bluff without being too steep. Five stars for house, beach, access to beach, and ocean views. And the interaction with the owners made it clear that they wanted us to enjoy our stay.

Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Hard-to-beat beach location

This house has one of the best beach locations imaginable on the West Coast. If you want a rugged, family and dog-friendly location with a low-maintenance, comfortable house, you can't go wrong here. The beach is stunning, wild and beautiful, and so easily accessed you feel like you own the beach when you look out of the windows. The proximity to the state park is actually a real bonus (something I was concerned about before we arrived) - it means a clear, unobstructed view of the beach and ocean, a nice paved area for the kids to ride their bikes, and a feeling of unspoilt wilderness. Yes, there are a few cars and visitors, but not enough to spoil it. The house is very clean, comfortable and easy to live in and low maintenance. Not the most contemporary, but that's not why you're there. The owners were helpful and quick to respond. Aside from the obvious beach activities, my kids loved picking blackberries at the end of the lane, horseback on the beach at sunset, bike riding to the lighthouse and wandering through the shops in Bandon. Our dog loved being able to run on the beach off-leash. For a family beach holiday, you can't go wrong.

We still have fond memories of our four day stay at this property. The views from the kitchen and living area were wonderful. We did have some concerns after reading that it shared a fence with Devils Kitchen State Park but we found this to be an asset providing easy access to the beach, and a wonderful place to walk our small dog and great for people watching. The layout of the house with the two master suites at opposit ends of the house provided privacy and tons of space so we never felt in each others way. We never used the media room preferring instead to watch the world roll bye and just enjoy the solitude. Would we rent again....definately. The owners were responsive to our many questions and needs & our security deposit was promptly returned as promised.

Recommended for: Age 55+, pet owners.

Owner response: We agree the proximity to Devil's Kitchen Park is a real plus. The home is elevated above, and there is broad expanse of lawn between, the home and the park. This maintains privacy and separation of the home from the park, yet provides awe-inspiring views, easy access to one of the longest and most beautiful beaches in the Bandon area, and a great place for a walk, with or without your dog.

WOW! What a great location and home. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and had excellent weather too. The huge windows facing the coast with a central fireplace made for a great retreat to enjoy sunsets and games. When it did get cold, we enjoyed the sun room for a lively game of poker. This home is well maintained and the owners are very easy to work with and accommodating. A fresh supply of firewood was a nice touch to ensure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We'll be back. Make sure you take advantage of the great golfing at Bandon Dunes nearby and restaurants in old-town Bandon.

The place is beautiful and so close to the beach, and very comfortably accomodated our party of ten (6 kids). I was suprised at how low the rent is for such a spectacular location. Our kids had a great time sleeping on the floor in the loft. This is a much larger house than many online listed to sleep more people! My sister & I loved the spacious kitchen and stainless cookware and had tons of fun cooking together. The owners are friendly and personable and helped a lot with getting our reservations made. A WONDERFUL vacation house. I'm so glad we happened across this listing.

We had a wonderful time in the pink house! It is an amazing rental-both in size and location. It is right next to the parking lot of the Devil's Kitchen Beach (divided by a fence), but felt very private (and it was fun watching all the people come and go). We had a great time on the beach (an easy walk-just steps away!)-and when it was too windy, we had a perfect view of the sunset from the panoramic windows in the living room as we sat by the fire. The town of Bandon is a "quaint" coastal town with just the right ambiance and some great food (try Tony's Crab Shack and Old town Pizza-they deliver). The fourth of July fireworks were a nice ending to a fabulous long weekend. We were very pleased with this place and will definitely be back! Geri/Eldonna, thanks for being so easy to work with.
