Our single-level townhouse is located right on the property of Jiminy Peak and within walking distance to the beautiful mountain, activities center. three restaurants, and The Country Store. The house is supplied with everything you need for your comfort, pleasure and entertainment including musical CD's, videos for the children, paperbacks and games. Internet (wireless/dial-up) is available for your use at no charge in the Country Inn (walking distance).
THANKSGIVING marks the beginning of the HOLIDAY/SKI SEASON at Jiminy. Enjoy a home-away-from-home with friends and family or a romantic get-away with that special someone. Prepare a holiday feast in our well equipped country kitchen. Then listen to enchanting music by the warm, cozy fireplace while viewing the unobstructed Berkshire vista. Or, enjoy the great outdoors, be it skiing/snowboarding, partaking of the local activities, or simply appreciating the beauty of the Berkshires. At our place you will not be subjected to stairways, hallways and the unwanted noise and traffic that brings. Instead we offer you your own private entrance with "home style" living. You selected VRBO to get competitive rates and that's what we offer you.

Before my husband and I met, we had a great love for the beautiful Bekrshires. My husband and I are avid lovers of the great outdoors and have been fortunate enough to be able to enjoy every day to the fullest. We have owned various properties at Jiminy Peak Mt. Resort ever since the resort was developed, purchasing pre-construction at the Country Inn. Our initial motivation was as skiers. As Jiminy developed into a 4-season resort, we purchased a summer home in the Country Village. When we moved to Florida, we sold that house, but quickly found out that was a bad decision. So, we purchased another townhome in the Contry Village which we decided to share with others, giving us the benefit of using it for a couple of weeks out of the year, keeping the beauty and fun-filled experiences in our lives forever.
Why the Owner Chose Hancock
For us, purchasing at Jiminy Peak was a no-brainer! We knew everything we loved and related to was here and figured there are a lot of people who feel just as we do. Knowing we would be renting as well as using the place periodically, location, convience, and cleanliness were important. Jiminy Peak is so convenient to get to from the tri-state areas of NY, NJ, and CT as well as Boston and other locations. it's also centrally located to partake of anything and everything your heart desires be it activities, the arts, food, history, attractions, or a tranquil summer surrounded by beauty. Since renters would be arriving after a week of working and a day of traveling here, we felt convenience and ease of checking in and securing keys was critically important. You simply have to show up at the front desk of the Country Inn and experience the ease of hotel check-in while enjoying home-style living in the Country Village section of the resort. The pleasure and convenience of all the amenities of the resort such as the indoor/outdoor hot tubs, heated outdoor pool, exercise room, tennis courts, the only 6-Seat Berkshire Express Lift in New England, ski-wee school, etc., are there for your enjoyment. Cleanliness for our sake and yours, was critical. Thanks to the professional housekeeping services of Jiminy this is possible and available to you.
The Unique Benefits of this Townhouse (single level)
Having been born and raised in New York City (Manhattan) we grew to love everyting the City has to offer. However, the one thing we had to escape was "black snow" in the winter and the heat and humidity of the summer. So, we headed up to our place at Jinminy Peak. Jiminy's "Berkshire Express" quickly moves skiers up the mountain to reduce waiting time. As the family grew, the children and grandchildren made the most of this family -friendly resort, including the ski-wee program.
In the winter we headed right up to Jiminy and skied our hearts out, meeting the finest of people, gaining new friends and marveling over the beauty of the pure white snow covered mountains. In the summer, we enjoyed this beauty by walking/jogging through the forests and hiking up the mountains, bicycling the rolling hills and kayaking the many winding rivers. The concerts at Tanglewood and summer theatre throughout, fulfilled our love of music and the arts. And, of course, there was no shortage of great food and fine dining. On top of that, we got a bonus that we didn't think of. When we moved to Florida, we had a place to stay in the Berkshires from which we could easily visit our family and friends in NYC and re-live the joys this wonderful city has to offer, as well.
