  We originally tried to book the one bedroom next door, but found it was booked for part of our 12 day stay. I'm really glad we got this one instead though! While having a separated bedroom is nice, this studio is so spacious and roomy, and you can lie in bed and listen to the waves and look outside onto the palms trees, ocean and Molokai. The entire front of the condo is a wall of windows with large sliders that make the balcony feel like part of the condo. The ocean breezes keep the temp perfect, mixed with the quiet and efficient ceiling fan, you don't need AC at all. The condo is clean, and well appointed, it had everything we needed plus some. We typically go out to eat nightly in Maui, but this time around we only went out a few times, we actually started picking things up to go, or making food there and eating out on the balcony at sunset, it was way better than any of the restaurants on the island. We're also pretty active, usually we only use our condo for sleep, but found ourselves calling it a day early and just kicking back in the condo, at the pool, in the hot tub, the place made it easy to relax, which was such a nice change from our busy schedules. The bed was really comfortable, nice and soft, and nice fresh linens, including the duvet on the comforter. I think this particular unit has the best view of the entire complex, we checked out one a few doors down that had an open house, and it was amazing how a few doors down the view changed so much. There's a lot close by, a great coffee shop across the street, a natural market and a few small eateries all within walking distance. The complex too was well maintained, the woman at the front desk very friendly and helpful. Its also pretty quiet there, I've seen some reviews of the complex that say its loud, my guess is it was an isolated incident, everyone seemed really respectful, and kept it down when they were in the pool area and barbecues. Parking is easy, no assigned spaces, just get your parking pass when you get there. The keyless entry is fab, no worries about dragging around extra keys. I really can't say enough, the owners are great, they have a great place, you really can't go wrong. The worst part of the stay was leaving!

  We don't believe in perfection but our condo is just that. Everything promised was given and more. From early mornings on the lanai with whale watching/turtles and dolphins to the most breathtaking sunsets in Maui in the evenings, it was paradise. We had family in the adjoining unit and they are more experienced travelers than us but their comments were the same. The owners and staff are excellent at making everything clean/comfortable and complete. God willing we'll be back.

  This condo was beautiful inside and out! The description was right on! The pictures are just as it is, breathtaking! It is a very clean and spacious studio. So much room! There is a closet and a large dresser. The kitchen had everything we possibly needed. A beautiful bathroom with a really nice sized shower. The bath towels are large, soft and wonderful! A king size bed and pillows to choose from. The bed was right next to the slider and lanai so you could listen to the waves all night long. The view from the lanai is magnificent! You are so close to the water! Watching the whales as the sun rose and all day long right until the sun sets. Words can't describe how beautiful the sunsets are. Even from the kitchen, there is a great view. Loved being on the top floor, it is a very quiet condo. The Paki Maui itself has gorgeous grounds and courtyard area. There is a nice lawn area with lounge chairs for sunning and enjoying the view. We liked being at a smaller complex without a ton of people everywhere. We also liked that we never had to run out early to grab a chair, there were always some available. The location of the Paki Maui is very convenient to everything. We were so glad to have beach chairs, a cooler, binoculars and large nice beach towels to use and not have to worry about bringing any of those items on our trip. The keyless entry was great! If we get the opportunity to return, we would definitely stay here again. We would recommend it to anyone! Working with Jannette was a pleasure. She was so helpful from the moment I asked our first question months ago. She was always quick to answer and happy to help. So glad we had the chance to meet you, Jannette! Thank you so much for everything!

  From the moment we walked up to the property, this vacation/second honeymoon was a dream come true for my husband and I. This trip was a second visit to Maui. Unfortunately our first visit/honeymoon was not so pleasant. We were in Maui when the events of September 11th unfolded. As for most people, this was a tragic and very stressful time in our life. One of the many occasions when marriage should be happy and joyful, we were overwhelmed with sadness. So with good reason, we were a little reluctant to return 11 1/2 years later. From the moment we booked our reservations, I knew this was going to finally be the honeymoon we deserved. Jannette was so pleasant and reassuring during EVERY interaction I had with her. She made us feel like we were truly going to our "home away from home." When we walked in, the room smelled so clean and refreshing, as if we were the first ones to ever stay there. The kitchen is gorgeous, and clean. I loved the shower and the decor. And the ultimate was to pull back the curtains and see the BEAUTIFUL view! The pictures do not do justice! To leave the sliding windows open at night and listen to the ocean and waves crashing, nothing compares. Literally sitting on the lanai watching the whales frolic in the ocean is a sight to see. And the sea turtles swimming right on the reef in front of us. As nervous as we were to return to Maui, I can assure you, we did not want to leave this time around! Amazing, breathtaking, refreshing, comforting, cozy, beautiful, are all some of the words that come to mind when I think of our "home away from home." If you are questioning whether or not this property is right for your stay in Maui, question no more! Book your stay at this property and have peace of mind knowing that you will not regret your decision! I know we will definitely be back, and we will be staying at the exact same place in the future! Thank you Jannette and Kent for allowing us to stay at your property. We were finally able to have the honeymoon we always dreamed of!

  Hi Jannette, just had to comment on our stay. We couldn't have picked a better place to vacation, everything you told us about the condo was excellent. We didn't need to bring hardly anything. All was there waiting for us. We really enjoyed watching the whales from the balcony each day while enjoying a glass of wine. Sorry we didn't get to meet and say hello, but we really kept ourselves busy. Well, maybe on our next visit. Again, thanks for making our trip a very enjoyable one Ed & Sunshine Jasper, Texas

  We loved Paki Maui and everything about it! From the time we made our reservations, we were well taken care of, and that continued when we walked through the door of the condo! The gorgeous view in the pictures is even better in real life, nothing short of breathtaking. After seeing our first sunset from the lanai, we made a point to be there each evening of our seven night stay. We took so many sunset pictures- each one seemed more glorious than the last! We had a bit of rain one day and left the Kaanapali Beach early, but it still was a fabulous day because we spent the rest of the afternoon in the condo- my husband napped and I read on the lanai, protected from the rain showers, with the stunning view in front of me. And the rainbows- I don't believe we've ever seen so many vibrant rainbows in such a short time! Watching the whales each morning and at sunset was so fun! The condo was spotless-super clean-and was filled with everything we could have needed. All the photos really tell the truth about what the condo is like. Very spacious for a studio! The backpack beach chairs and cooler were such a nice thing to have as we packed up each morning for a trip to a new beach. The kitchen had everything we needed and after grilling fresh fresh and vegetables from the Fish Market and Farmer's Market across the street, we decided it was one of our favorite meals. It was so nice to have easy access to stores and restaurants. We loved that the condo was so close to the ocean front- we felt like we could reach out and touch the palm trees from the lanai. We also appreciated the keyless entry- so great to not have to keep track of keys!!! Truly this was paradise and such a perfect place to celebrate our 25th anniversary. We most certainly will recommend Jannette and Kent to anyone headed to Maui. Jannette was a perfect host and we do hope to actually meet someday, especially after learning that we all have fond memories of some of the same bands from the 70's and 80's. :) We are saving our pennies and hope that not too much time passes before we can return to such a beautiful home away from home. There was only one thing we needed.... more time! Our tans are fading, but our memories, I'm sure, will not. Mahalo!

  Perfect location for me. Buses right outside. Ocean I can see from my bed. Whales frolicking on Christmas morning. Very clean, very convenient. Grocery store in walking distance. Excellent landlady! I absolutely loved every minute!

  I have just returned from two weeks in Unit 402A and have to say my expectations were exceeded! From the easy keyless entry, the large walk-in shower, the king size bed, the Tommy Bahama beach chairs, picnic cooler, snorkel gear, body boards, binoculars and beach towels this unit had everything I needed, and more! The owners were very responsive to emails, texts and phone calls through the initial reservation experience as well as the time I was there. (Thanks for the tip about Hallowe'en in Lahaina, I really enjoyed the kekei parade and evening events! ) The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, appliances, basic cleaning supplies and spices. Everything was very clean and well maintained in the unit. If, like me, you don't consider cooking as part of a vacation, there are a number of restaurants close by. Mixed Plate has a great variety that includes local favorites, and open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. As a single traveler, safety and ease of access to amenities and activities is always important. Paki Maui has it! The waters in front of the Paki Maui are protected and provide excellent snorkeling opportunities. The view from the lanai is incredible, whether watching turtles swim by (which occurred daily) or relaxing with a refreshing beverage at sunset. I have and will continue to recommend this rental to friends and am already looking at the calendar to plan next year's trip! I LOVE MAUI and was very happy to call Unit 402A at the Paki Maui home for 2 weeks :)

  It was everything we were told by owners and our friends. Easy access to just about anything anyone would need while there. Everything was clean and neat! We have already talked about our next trip back. And the view is gorgeous.....from sunsets to rainbows.........

  This condo provided complete vacation comfort with its location in west Maui and its ocean front views. Oh, and daily visits by gigantic sea turtles and fantastic snorkeling are an added bonus. The owners did a fantastic job with the renovation and provide all the amenities that you need. The neighborhood has a great food market, snorkel/surf/activity shops and is a central access point to pristine beaches, running/walking trails, restaurants and shopping. The sunsets are breathtaking and can be enjoyed from your lanai or bed.
