Our Best Stay on Maui Yet!

We originally tried to book the one bedroom next door, but found it was booked for part of our 12 day stay. I'm really glad we got this one instead though! While having a separated bedroom is nice, this studio is so spacious and roomy, and you can lie in bed and listen to the waves and look outside onto the palms trees, ocean and Molokai. The entire front of the condo is a wall of windows with large sliders that make the balcony feel like part of the condo. The ocean breezes keep the temp perfect, mixed with the quiet and efficient ceiling fan, you don't need AC at all. The condo is clean, and well appointed, it had everything we needed plus some. We typically go out to eat nightly in Maui, but this time around we only went out a few times, we actually started picking things up to go, or making food there and eating out on the balcony at sunset, it was way better than any of the restaurants on the island. We're also pretty active, usually we only use our condo for sleep, but found ourselves calling it a day early and just kicking back in the condo, at the pool, in the hot tub, the place made it easy to relax, which was such a nice change from our busy schedules. The bed was really comfortable, nice and soft, and nice fresh linens, including the duvet on the comforter. I think this particular unit has the best view of the entire complex, we checked out one a few doors down that had an open house, and it was amazing how a few doors down the view changed so much. There's a lot close by, a great coffee shop across the street, a natural market and a few small eateries all within walking distance. The complex too was well maintained, the woman at the front desk very friendly and helpful. Its also pretty quiet there, I've seen some reviews of the complex that say its loud, my guess is it was an isolated incident, everyone seemed really respectful, and kept it down when they were in the pool area and barbecues. Parking is easy, no assigned spaces, just get your parking pass when you get there. The keyless entry is fab, no worries about dragging around extra keys. I really can't say enough, the owners are great, they have a great place, you really can't go wrong. The worst part of the stay was leaving!

We don't believe in perfection but our condo is just that. Everything promised was given and more. From early mornings on the lanai with whale watching/turtles and dolphins to the most breathtaking sunsets in Maui in the evenings, it was paradise. We had family in the adjoining unit and they are more experienced travelers than us but their comments were the same. The owners and staff are excellent at making everything clean/comfortable and complete. God willing we'll be back.

Absolutely Beautiful!

This condo was beautiful inside and out! The description was right on! The pictures are just as it is, breathtaking! It is a very clean and spacious studio. So much room! There is a closet and a large dresser. The kitchen had everything we possibly needed. A beautiful bathroom with a really nice sized shower. The bath towels are large, soft and wonderful! A king size bed and pillows to choose from. The bed was right next to the slider and lanai so you could listen to the waves all night long. The view from the lanai is magnificent! You are so close to the water! Watching the whales as the sun rose and all day long right until the sun sets. Words can't describe how beautiful the sunsets are. Even from the kitchen, there is a great view. Loved being on the top floor, it is a very quiet condo. The Paki Maui itself has gorgeous grounds and courtyard area. There is a nice lawn area with lounge chairs for sunning and enjoying the view. We liked being at a smaller complex without a ton of people everywhere. We also liked that we never had to run out early to grab a chair, there were always some available. The location of the Paki Maui is very convenient to everything. We were so glad to have beach chairs, a cooler, binoculars and large nice beach towels to use and not have to worry about bringing any of those items on our trip. The keyless entry was great! If we get the opportunity to return, we would definitely stay here again. We would recommend it to anyone! Working with Jannette was a pleasure. She was so helpful from the moment I asked our first question months ago. She was always quick to answer and happy to help. So glad we had the chance to meet you, Jannette! Thank you so much for everything!

Dream come true!

From the moment we walked up to the property, this vacation/second honeymoon was a dream come true for my husband and I. This trip was a second visit to Maui. Unfortunately our first visit/honeymoon was not so pleasant. We were in Maui when the events of September 11th unfolded. As for most people, this was a tragic and very stressful time in our life. One of the many occasions when marriage should be happy and joyful, we were overwhelmed with sadness. So with good reason, we were a little reluctant to return 11 1/2 years later. From the moment we booked our reservations, I knew this was going to finally be the honeymoon we deserved. Jannette was so pleasant and reassuring during EVERY interaction I had with her. She made us feel like we were truly going to our "home away from home." When we walked in, the room smelled so clean and refreshing, as if we were the first ones to ever stay there. The kitchen is gorgeous, and clean. I loved the shower and the decor. And the ultimate was to pull back the curtains and see the BEAUTIFUL view! The pictures do not do justice! To leave the sliding windows open at night and listen to the ocean and waves crashing, nothing compares. Literally sitting on the lanai watching the whales frolic in the ocean is a sight to see. And the sea turtles swimming right on the reef in front of us. As nervous as we were to return to Maui, I can assure you, we did not want to leave this time around! Amazing, breathtaking, refreshing, comforting, cozy, beautiful, are all some of the words that come to mind when I think of our "home away from home." If you are questioning whether or not this property is right for your stay in Maui, question no more! Book your stay at this property and have peace of mind knowing that you will not regret your decision! I know we will definitely be back, and we will be staying at the exact same place in the future! Thank you Jannette and Kent for allowing us to stay at your property. We were finally able to have the honeymoon we always dreamed of!

Hawaiian Paradise!

We loved Paki Maui and everything about it! From the time we made our reservations, we were well taken care of, and that continued when we walked through the door of the condo! The gorgeous view in the pictures is even better in real life, nothing short of breathtaking. After seeing our first sunset from the lanai, we made a point to be there each evening of our seven night stay. We took so many sunset pictures- each one seemed more glorious than the last! We had a bit of rain one day and left the Kaanapali Beach early, but it still was a fabulous day because we spent the rest of the afternoon in the condo- my husband napped and I read on the lanai, protected from the rain showers, with the stunning view in front of me. And the rainbows- I don't believe we've ever seen so many vibrant rainbows in such a short time! Watching the whales each morning and at sunset was so fun! The condo was spotless-super clean-and was filled with everything we could have needed. All the photos really tell the truth about what the condo is like. Very spacious for a studio! The backpack beach chairs and cooler were such a nice thing to have as we packed up each morning for a trip to a new beach. The kitchen had everything we needed and after grilling fresh fresh and vegetables from the Fish Market and Farmer's Market across the street, we decided it was one of our favorite meals. It was so nice to have easy access to stores and restaurants. We loved that the condo was so close to the ocean front- we felt like we could reach out and touch the palm trees from the lanai. We also appreciated the keyless entry- so great to not have to keep track of keys!!! Truly this was paradise and such a perfect place to celebrate our 25th anniversary. We most certainly will recommend Jannette and Kent to anyone headed to Maui. Jannette was a perfect host and we do hope to actually meet someday, especially after learning that we all have fond memories of some of the same bands from the 70's and 80's. :) We are saving our pennies and hope that not too much time passes before we can return to such a beautiful home away from home. There was only one thing we needed.... more time! Our tans are fading, but our memories, I'm sure, will not. Mahalo!

Hi Jannette, just had to comment on our stay. We couldn't have picked a better place to vacation, everything you told us about the condo was excellent. We didn't need to bring hardly anything. All was there waiting for us. We really enjoyed watching the whales from the balcony each day while enjoying a glass of wine. Perfect location for me. Buses right outside. Ocean I can see from my bed. Whales frolicking on Christmas morning. Very clean, very convenient. Grocery store in walking distance. Excellent landlady! I absolutely loved every minute!

I have just returned from two weeks in Unit 402A and have to say my expectations were exceeded! From the easy keyless entry, the large walk-in shower, the king size bed, the Tommy Bahama beach chairs, picnic cooler, snorkel gear, body boards, binoculars and beach towels this unit had everything I needed, and more! The owners were very responsive to emails, texts and phone calls through the initial reservation experience as well as the time I was there. (Thanks for the tip about Hallowe'en in Lahaina, I really enjoyed the kekei parade and evening events! ) The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, appliances, basic cleaning supplies and spices. Everything was very clean and well maintained in the unit. If, like me, you don't consider cooking as part of a vacation, there are a number of restaurants close by. Mixed Plate has a great variety that includes local favorites, and open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. As a single traveler, safety and ease of access to amenities and activities is always important. Paki Maui has it! The waters in front of the Paki Maui are protected and provide excellent snorkeling opportunities. The view from the lanai is incredible, whether watching turtles swim by (which occurred daily) or relaxing with a refreshing beverage at sunset. I have and will continue to recommend this rental to friends and am already looking at the calendar to plan next year's trip! I LOVE MAUI and was very happy to call Unit 402A at the Paki Maui home for 2 weeks :)

It was everything we were told by owners and our friends. Easy access to just about anything anyone would need while there. Everything was clean and neat! We have already talked about our next trip back. And the view is gorgeous.....from sunsets to rainbows.........

Awaken to the Sound of Ocean Waves

This condo provided complete vacation comfort with its location in west Maui and its ocean front views. Oh, and daily visits by gigantic sea turtles and fantastic snorkeling are an added bonus. The owners did a fantastic job with the renovation and provide all the amenities that you need. The neighborhood has a great food market, snorkel/surf/activity shops and is a central access point to pristine beaches, running/walking trails, restaurants and shopping. The sunsets are breathtaking and can be enjoyed from your lanai or bed.

Recommended for: Romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Comfortable, clean, well-furnished

This condo exceeded our expectations, and is a good value. It's a studio, but it did not feel cramped even with the king size bed. The kitchenette is nice, and is well furnished with decent pans, dishes, and all utensils you might need along with a modest assortment of spices and condiments. The view from the lanai is very nice. Binoculars were available in the room, but we didn't need them to see many whales and sea turtles. We appreciated that there were two nice backpack beach chairs that we took to other Maui beaches. A boogie board, snorkel, cooler and beach towels were also available. The beach below the sea wall is very small, but there is a larger beach at Honokowai park immediately next door. There is a reef ~50 feet out that breaks the waves creating a nice swimming area for children. The lawn between the building and the ocean is a nice place to lounge, but it's too bad there is not a oceanside walkway. We're runners and the street out front is not very runner friendly, but it's just a half-mile stroll to the Kaanapali boardwalk which was wonderful for our morning runs. We would definitely choose to stay here again.

Best Place to Stay in Maui - Great Host

This place is the best place to stay in Maui. The owners are very good people and the place is super duper clean. Beautiful views, great location, and close to everything (food, groceries, and entertainment). They have beach towels, chairs, even a boogie board for you. The also had binoculars, but I had great zoom camera, but again it's the gesture that counts. The hospitality can't be beat. These are good people. For some reason the linens were damaged and the owner was very nice in asking me if I did anything unusual. They never went after me, just inquired to find out what happened. I still can't figure it out today and it boggle my mind what happened. Maybe someone washing their clothes prior to use used bleach. But the owners took it with stride. Awesome property and the sunset and direct access to the beach can't be beat.

Absolutely Perfect!

My husband and I stayed here for 8 days and it was more than we could have asked for. The place is so clean and has everything you need. The location is nice and peaceful and the view in incredible. We spent hours every morning drinking coffee on the Lani and fell asleep listening to the waves. To top it off, the owners are wonderful and made our stay comfortable and breezy. Thank you so much and we cannot wait to come back!

My husband and I stayed for 11 days here for our anniversary. It was perfect! Extremely clean and beautifully decorated and maintained. The owners were very helpful and put forth so much effort to make our stay spectacular. We loved falling asleep each night to the sound of the ocean. The view is excellent. One morning we saw several sea turtles traveling right in front of the condo. The location is great whether you rent a car or not. Plenty of places to walk to close by. We also enjoyed the farmers market right across the street. Perfect stay! We will be returning!

Charming, comfortable, peaceful paradise

This was the perfect getaway in paradise. From the decor, to granite counter tops and tile flooring, to the linens and super comfy bed, to the stunning view - we couldn't have asked for a better vacation. If you're looking for a quiet (minus the soothing sounds of the waves in the background) comfortable stay, with all the amenities of home, this condo was that and more. Jeanette, the owner, is a wonderful host, adding beach chairs and towels for convenience - we were so impressed. The view is worth a fortune and too our surprise, every morning we saw sea turtles feeding on the reefs! The only thing I will say is that if you're a pool person, the pool is not much to be desired, it's very small and closed in. Thank goodness we love swimming in the ocean, because that was not an issue for us. Location of this condo is great, close to stores, the Fish Market (great fish to take back and cook at your place) and more. We plan on staying here every time we come back, Aloha!

Beautiful!

We just got back from Paki Maui, stayed in the 1 bedroom for 3 nights and the Studio for the rest of the week and had a fabulous time! The units were beautiful, clean, the bed was so comfy, the ocean view was spectacular! Jannette and Kent were awesome hosts, they truly thought of every detail! Coffee in the morning and drinks in the evening you simply cannot beat the view from the lanai. Great location to wonderful restaurants, shopping, beaches, the snorkeling right out front is great especially beyond the second reef, and turtles every morning! Will be back again and again!!!!!

Best location on Maui

This property truely exceeding our expectations. We were concerned about renting a studio apt. but there was nothing small about this place. With a newly renovated apartment and furnishings this one is a no brainer and the warm hospitality of the owners went above and beyond what one would expect. The views spectacular, the location next to Kanapali Beach and many others and local to all shopping areas as well as downtown Lahaina. Especially loved the farmers market and snorkeling right outside our door. Enjoyed the Italian take out across the street to eat at sunset on the spacious lanai and enjoyed dinner at Coolers and the live music at Cool Cats. A dream location for our honeymoon. So glad we found this one and can't wait to return.

The condo was everything we could ask for. Ocean view from our king size bed, ceiling fan overhead, elegant towels and sheets, full size kitchen, and easy access to highway. There were four turtles in the water in front of our condo to look at and this was as we were still unpacking our bags.Highly recommend. Hosts were awesome.

We spent one glorious week in this haven. It was everything we expected and then more. The owners pay attention to every little detail, including high quality linens. The views are spectacular throughout the day; the studio is spacious and comfortable. It was easy to get to any place on the island. We will definitely be back and stay right here.

Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
