Year Purchased: 1994
About the owner: Barb and Marty have lived at Lake Tahoe since 1973, and Jake, their son, was born at the lake in 1984. Marty and Barb met at a Chamber of Commerce meeting in the summer of 1979, when Marty owned Tahoe Crafts Printing Company, and Barb owned Basecamp, a backpacking, cross country ski and bicycle shop. They married at Lake Tahoe in September, 1980, and renewed their vows on their 25th Anniversary on the lawns of the Shore House with many friends, family, fine music, food, tears, smiles and the lake and the mountains providing the backdrop.
