  Our family of 13 (ages 9 months to 85 yrs. old) spent Thanksgiving weekend at this rental. Other than the missing TV in the basement (out for repairs) it was exactly as described. We had more than enough room to spread out. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals (we did bring a large roaster for the turkey). The beds were comfortable and linens & towels were provided. Because of the mild weather, we were able to enjoy the wrap-around deck and walks in the area. We played cards every night but sInce we visited in November when it gets dark early, we could have used a couple of floor lamps for better lighting. The owner was very responsive to emails and easy to work with. Overall we had a great time and would highly recommend this rental.

  Fantastic large house better than advertised. Two families with 5 total kids with plenty of room. Highly recommend.

  110% Satisfied. When it come to vacation rentals, three things define my stay: value, a clean and comfortable house, and an easy booking process. 22 Decker road delivers on all three fronts and more. The home was a steal for how large and luxurious it truly is! We hosted a team outing for 9 men and everyone got their own bed! The kitchen and grill were stocked so we could prepare a feast for every meal. Amazing value for executive living. The home was super clean and you could tell the owner takes pride in keeping it so. It also provided enough room for all of us to spread out, indoors and out. The new fire pit is perfect for summer evenings full of smores and adult beverages. The large deck is the perfect place to sit int he morning with coffee and take in the views of the woods and the lake. Finally, working the owner to schedule the weekend could not have been easier. David is extremely prompt in answering all questions and inquires. We traveled the short 15 minute drive to Wolf Creek Marina to rent a boat for the day, $200 for a pontoon that will hold 12 ppl. Amazing value and also, very easy to work with. Highly recommend!!!! You will not be disappointed!!!!!

  My wife and I stayed in this perfect home with our 3 year old son and infant daugther for a week and it was amazing. The pictures of the house don't do it justice and the private setting is exactly what we were looking for. While the house was much bigger and accomodated far more people than we had, the tranquility of the property was just what we needed. And as great as the house was, dealing with David the owner was even better. We were in Kentucky for the adoption of our daughter and he could not have been more accomodating to our needs and situation. Our daughter was actually born 2 weeks early and he happily moved our reservation for us at the last minute and put our minds at ease with where we were going to stay for the trip. Thanks for all of your help David throughout our stay and I would highly recommend this property to anyone.

  What can I say that other reviews haven't already mentioned? The lake house is indeed beautiful and spacious. It was the perfect accommodations to celebrate my parent's 50th wedding anniversary. The location is great and very quiet as it is at the end of the road of a gated community, that only hosts about 10 homes. David, the homeowner, has a bonfire setup outside and ready to go if you so desire, as well as a gas grill on the beautiful wraparound porch. It was great to go to the lake and walk around and then enjoy watching the beautiful sunset from the porch. I cannot stress the level of superior hospitality and "customer service" that David provides. I was a rather high maintenance renter that has emailed him too many times to count over the past year. Not only did David respond quickly to each email, but he did so with a great sense of humor. He was an absolute joy to work with. I would highly recommend the lake house for anyone looking for a getaway, whether two or 10 people! My family already decided we will make another trip.......sorry David, you can't get rid of me that easily. ;o) The only disappointment was that I didn't get to meet David in person! haha

  Looking for the perfect place to rest and unwind...then this is the place! The house is located at the end of a quiet street in a gated community. The view from the house is stunning. The leaves were all off the trees and you could see the lake from almost every angle. The house was very clean and ready when we got there. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our daily meals. The house is very large and was great for a romantic getaway but it could easily accommodate a large family or group gathering. The floor plan was great - open and airy. The loft is perfect for kids/teens to have their own space but they'd still be close enough to supervise. The deck was great. We grilled out twice even in January. The only thing better than the house is the owner. He was very easy to work with and quick to respond. This was a very last minute trip for us and he bent over backwards to accommodate us with very little notice and with a departure on the same date as our arrival. He arranged with the cleaning service to clean the property to allow for our arrival and they did a great job because it was very clean when we got there. 2011 was a tough year for us. This was THE perfect way to start out 2012! Thanks David for everything. We hope to rent from you in the future and wish you the best in all you do.

  You have a very beautiful home! We found it to be very peaceful and we loved the view from the vast deck! We took pleasure in utilizing the fire pit - when the moon was shining over the lake it was breath taking. We had our entire family here for a long weekend getaway. My oldest daughter found the basement to be like another apartment with lots of room and entertainment for she had 2 little ones to care for.The weather was wonderful on our stay we enjoyed the lake, boating, tubing and skiing. We enjoyed one evening at Lee's Ford Marina Restaurant and also made a little trip to Honey's Farm where we purchased the best apple and peach fried pies!! Thank you for opening your lovely home for us to enjoy!

  The house was great and had ample room for everyone in our party. It was very nice to relax by the fire pit at night. The distance that we had to travel to get to water/a marina was unacceptable for us. A 20+ minute drive to get to a marina where they do rent boats, etc. is too far!

  Owner response: This is the 1st review that I've received that wasn't 5 out of 5 and I can't say that I'm not a bit disappointed especially because it seems the house wasn't what they were reviewing, it was the drive to the marina. Fortunately, I didn't rent them the drive to the marina, I rented them the house and they chose to drive the marina that was further away. There is a marina 12 miles from the house.

  This was one of the most beautiful lake houses I have ever been too. Clean, spacious house with a gorgeous panoramic view of the lake!!! It has been a very relaxing and fun experience. I would recommend this house for families and friends.. a quick weekend getaway or a week long vacation! Definitely 5 star lake house! You won't be disappointed!

  My extended family all meet up and spent 4 nights here for Easter weekend. We had such a great time and nobody wanted to go home! This house was everything we expected it to be. We cooked Easter dinner and had everything we needed. The house is very open so everyone had a lot of room. The teenagers loved the game room downstairs and the fire pit was a lot of fun in the evenings! The owner is so great to work with! He responded to any questions that I had in a timely manner and made the process that much easier. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!!
