This quiet, comfortable, spacious condo is located on the top level of a quaint 12 unit building adjacent to the Squaw Valley Lodge. It's a short 5 minute walk to the Village at Squaw Valley and the Tram building. It's located on a cul de sac road near the Shirley Lake trail head - so it's very quiet and safe for children to play.
From both the living room and bedroom, there are 180 degree views of the ski mountain. The unit gets full sun all day. It's extremely well maintained, and the unit is immaculate and decorated like a model. Squaw Creek is located directly behind the building with creek access and a sunny picnic area. In heavy snow, skiing access is available from the Mountain run.
Both the bedroom and family room have full glass sliding doors with full Kt22 and Red Dog mountain views. From the balcony you can also see the Squaw Valley village, tram, valley and Squaw Peak.
Convenient parking is adjacent to the building but you don't really need a car. You can walk or take a shuttle around the Valley and to Tahoe City, Incline Village, West Shore, Truckee and the Reno Airport.
Please note that second floor access is by stair (no elevator) thru an enclosed corridor. Ski and Bike storage are available in the building. Laundry is in the building as well for a reasonable $1 per load. Ski lockers are available in the Tram building.

Family of 4 worked out well for a week Christmas 2010. The condo is quiet, well layed out for a 1 bd, cool view from under tram. Well appointed, owner meets you to walk you thru all the details. My fiance and I enjoyed a fantastic stay at this extemely comfortable, clean, and quiet condo. It's the perfect combination for those who want all the amentities of home and easy accessibility to all the sights, sounds, and activities Squaw Valley has to offer. Highly recommended!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+.

My sister and I rented this condo for 4 nights for the Wanderlust Festival. The location could not have been more perfect, we could walk to everything. This is a year round location with lots to do in every season. The owner could not have been more gracious and accomodating. Everything we needed was provided. We had a fabulous, all around experience!:) Thanks Lynn!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

There is a wonderful community of healthy athletic minded individuals who also make this Valley their full time home and home away from home.
