This is a Large beachfront studio suite with one queen Murphy bed and sofa bed that can sleep up to four people. The unit is on the ground floor with direct beach access from the patio. The small condominium community is newly renovated with immediate proximity to the Sea of Cortez located on Posada Beach. Posada Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in San Carlos with calm waves and wind perfect for swimming. The views of the Sea are incredible.
The community of San Carlos was founded on lands of a large cattle ranch known as the Baviso de Navarro. In the mid 1950s, the first stages of a gradual and carefully planned tourist development began. In time San Carlos would become one of the first and most important tourist and recreational communities in Sonora.
San Carlos provides one of Mexico’s few naturally protected marinas. Sports boats and yachts dock side by side in this easily accessible international harbor.
This area has also long been known for the quality of its diving waters... clear visibility and rock and coral shelves provide optimal diving conditions and an abundant variety of underwater sea life.
Fishing in the Sea of Cortez yields a diversity of species including dorado, grouper, bonita, and billfish. Yearly tournaments attract sports fishermen from all over Sonora and the Southwest.

This unit was perfect for us! Ground floor unit with direct access the the water. Restaurant and beach right outside, excellent location to other restaurants as well. Inside was well appointed with granite countertops in kitchen, well stocked with all cooking appliances. Murphy bed was extremely comfortable. Bathroom was a nice size and there is a stackable washer and dryer. Pool just right outside was nice and clean and a small but efficient gym facing the ocean. Fri, Jul 15, 2011 at 8:29 AM Hi Susan, Sorry it took me a few days to email you. Just wanted you to know that we had another wonderful vacation in San Carlos and the condo was great. The people there were also very nice and helpful. We rented the condo next door, 104, becuase some family members came over from Navojoa to visit on Sunday. We had a lovely time together and very much enjoyed being right next door to each other. The temperature was perfect and the water was wonderful! Susan, Just wanted to let you know that we had a wonderful time in San Carlos. The condo was great, we loved the location and greatly enjoyed being able to see the ocean as we relaxed on the patio. The temperature was a little cool for this time of year so the water was also kind of cold, we didn't really get in but enjoyed the beach anyway. All in all we had a wonderful stay and appreciate your place very much. Maybe we'll stay again the next time we decided it is time to visit San Carlos again, if it is available (and not sold!). About the owner: I love spending time near the sound of waves. I find ocean sounds to be the most relaxing. I love just looking at the waves rolling in along with both the sunrise and sunset each day over the water. My husband loves being able to go to the golf course for reduced rates at 3pm.
