  This was a very clean house. Great location. Very close to the beach. The owner was very nice. Had no problems with anything. I would recomend this house for rental.

  BEAUTIFUL HOUSE, GREAT VIEW, OUT STAY WAS VERY RELAXING AND WOULD LOVE TO RENT THIS HOME AGAIN IN THE FUTURE! WE ALL HAD A WONDERFUL TIME

  MY FAMILY CAME FROM EAST TEXAS & HAD A BLAST! I DID NOT EXPECT TO HAVE BOOGY BOARDS & ALL THE KIDS TOYS FURNISHED! THEY HAD THE BEST TIME.THE CLEANING SERVICE HAD A SCHEDULE GLITCH &THE OWNER WAS PREPARED TO COME TAKE CARE OF IT HIS SELF IF NEEDED! HE MORE THAN COMPENSATED FOR THE FOUL UP & IT MEANS A LOT WHEN AN OWNER CARES THAT MUCH ABOUT HIS RENTERS.WE GRILLED HOT DOGS & HAMBURGERS EVERY NIGHT & BOILED A LOT OF SHRIMP! I HIGHLY RECOMEND THIS KID FRIENDLY HOUSE TO ANYONE WANTING SOME FUN ON THE BEACH.THANK-YOU & HOPE TO RENT FROM YOU AGAIN THIS WINTER! I HAVE RENTED BEACH HOUSES,RIVER HOUSES,& LAKE HOUSES ALL OVER TEXAS & THIS OWNER IS AS GOOD AS IT GETS!

  Awesome! That is the worrd I would use to describe our stay at the Sea Flower Beach House. The view was great from Porch, the neighbors were quiet, the rooms were great, the beds were comfortable, like I sais Awesome best describes our stay. We'll be back!

  This home is spacious and well set up for a large group. Steps from the beach which we loved. The owner was very helpful and kind. Any questions we had he was available to answer. The home has laundry available, grill, beach toys, fishing gear, outside shower to rinse off all the sand and a great deck. There was free WiFi available through the town, but it was very hard to get a good connection at the beach house. The only turn off for us was the housekeeping crew. They are smokers and all the linen and blankets smelled heavily of smoke. I washed most of it to get the smell of smoke out before we used it. We did bring our own linen for the living room sleepers, recommended by another guest. Glad we did as we wouldn't have had enough sheets. And do bring a ton of good mosquito spray, they will eat you alive. NO JOKE!!! They are more of a bother at night and early morning, but coming back from the beach at night and rinsing off outside was hard with all the mosquitoes swarming the air. There are small grocery stores in Surfside, but prepare to drive for a bigger selection. Bring lots of drinking water since you can't drink the water there. We drove up to the jetty park where you can see dolphins swimming at dusk. Very fun. Galvastin is a good hour drive away. We did enjoy the slower pace of Surfside and it's long beaches. We never felt cramped or crowded on the beach. You can drive on the beach with a permit and you can have bon fires too. Over all we enjoyed Surfside and this lovely beach home. We would stay again, I will just have to bring more laundry detergent in preparation for washing the linens to get the smoke smell out. I do feel for the price that is something we shouldn't have to worry about or deal with. I would have given this home 5 stars if it weren't for the housekeeping company. Hope this was helpful.

  We enjoyed our stay at the Sea Flower. The house was clean, comfortable, and perfect for family travel. The kids had an especially good time playing football on the beach, riding boogie boards, and hunting sand crabs in the evening. The Sea Flower provides convenient and easy beach access. We hope to be able to return soon!

  WE ENJOYED VERY MUCH OUR STAY! SUCH A BEAUTIFUL PLACE... AND ALL THE AMENITIES MADE IT VERY COMFORTABLE. THE FURNISHINGS WERE VERY IMPRESSIVE ... NAT AND I FELL IN LOVE WITH THE BIG SLIGHTLY ROCKING LOUNGE CHAIR.IN THE LIVING AREA. We feel the accommodations and extras were more than expected and we would recommend this place to anyone .. Also, the owner was very helpful in returning my calls and answering any questions I had. The local restaurants we visited were interesting and the food was excellent. especially the Seafood! THANK YOU FOR A MEMORABLE BEACH VACATION! REGARDS,

  The house was ready as specified when we arrived with all we needed to accomodate our family of 6 adults and 3 children during our 5 day/4night stay. The Seaflower is a very nice "home away from home. Our 7 yr old and two 4 yr old grandkids had a vacation to remember-- loved the bridge to the beach and learned to "boogie board." My family enjoyed beach walks, boogie boarding, tubing, sunbathing, fishing, catching blue crabs in tide poosl and chasing sand crabs at night with nets. If it is possible to juggle 3 family schedules we would like to return next summer. Mr. Rea was courteous and answered all questions that arose immediately or with a returned call. A Great Experience and a comfortable place to stay.

  We had a wonderful time staying here. It was in the perfect location, just right across the street from the beach. I have to say, my favorite moments were waking up before everyone else and having a cup of coffee (or 2) while sitting on the deck watching the waves come in and hearing the sound of the ocean. It accommodated all 12 of u easily and comfortably. Thank you Clark for allowing us to enjoy your home! You may have us all back next year!!!

  This was my first time renting a beach house so I was a bit nervous about the whole process. As it turns out, it couldn't have been easier. The whole process of renting the house was simple, the house itself was perfect and exactly as described. Although this wasn't summer time, we were still able to enjoy the spacious front deck with amazing views. Overall, this vacation was very enjoyable and I would not hesitate to recommend the house to anyone.
