The Setting: Located on Lake Tahoe's North Shore, and on the famous Incline Village Championship Golf Course (designed by Robert Trent Jones) this home is perfect for either a summer or winter vacation. It is conveniently located near 11 ski areas and more than 25 18 hole golf courses, water sports, mountain sports or gambling (The Hyatt is less than a 2 minute drive, and the Crystal Bay Club, Cal-Neva and The Biltmore 5 minutes away). Reno and South Shore are 45 minutes away with Harrahs, Harveys, and many more casinos. The closest ski area is 2 1/2 MINUTES away, Diamond Peak Ski Area, it is excellent, not big but has something for everyone. The Club House of the Robert Trent Jones, Incline Village Championship Golf Course is a 2 minute walk from the front door!! The clubhouse just re-opened in fall 2004 after being re-built. It is beautiful. The course was closed for 2 years and completely re-done. The Championship golf course is in wonderful condition, and quite a challenge. The Executive course is a par 3 and considered one of the top par 3 courses in the United States. There are no problems with the roads getting to the house in the winter months. The roads are flat and plowed regularly under snowy conditions. For summer vacationers, the house is a mile and a half from Lake Tahoe, a mile at most to the entrance to some of the best mountain hiking trails of the Sierra, a five minute walk to shopping and dining. The golf courses in the area offer some of the most scenic and challenging golf in the West. The house is located directly on the 10th fairway/green, slightly nestled in the pines. There is a wrap around deck, a tiny peek a view look at Lake Tahoe. The setting is particularly nice during the summer for relaxing, dining and cocktails. This house has all the comforts of home, and is nestled quietly in a nature setting. There is a private beach for owners and guests. I can arrange guest passes for $7.00 a person per day.
The Home: This is my private second home. It was completely remodeled in summer of 2004 with a new granite kitchen, renovated bathrooms, new appliances, new furniture. It has T.V./V.C.R., cable, DSL, flat screen T.V. The house is tri-level. There are 2 bedrooms and a bathroom, and washer/dryer downstairs. One bedroom has a queen sized bed, the other has 2 twins. The twins can be pushed together to form a king, with a memory foam mattress to cover (no falling in the crack between the beds!) The main floor is the living area, with kitchen, dining room, living area, wood burning stove (firewood included) and double doors out to the deck, and a full bathroom. Upstairs is a loft room, with a full size bed, a closet, dressers etc, and a bathroom. All beds have down comforters, The kitchen is completely stocked with service for at least 12. The dinnerware and wineglasses, and cooking utensils are top of the line. There is a coffee machine, espresso machine, microwave, every gadget imaginable. There is a gas bar-b-que on the deck, all the spices and non perishable items needed in the kitchen. This home has the best there is to offer.
The Rates: $265.00 night, low season, 3 night minimum. $295.00 high season, $340. night Christmas week, $430. night Christmas thru New Years.
There is a $125.00 cleaning fee, non refundable.
There is a $350. security deposit, completely refundable.
