Q. Where do we check in?
A. We will leave your name at the entrance gate. They will direct you to your unit. At the front desk of the building the doorman will loan you a key to the unit. The keys and garage remotes are located there. Please return the loaner key to the front desk. The front desk will also help you register and get a ID pass to the pools, fitness center and clubhouse.
Q. What time is check-in and check-out?
A. Check-in time is any time after 3:00 PM on your day of arrival and check-out time is any time before 10:30 AM on the day of departure. Our front desk is open 24 hours a day to serve your needs.
Q. If I cancel do I get my advance deposit refunded?
A. Most advance payments are refundable if you cancel your reservations prior to 90 days of your arrival date. Payments on reservations cancelled within 90 days of arrival are not refundable for any reason including, but not limited to, death or illness. Payments made for the months of June, July and/or August are not refundable at any time. However, if we can rent the property on a last minute basis we will refund one half of your payments.
Q. How many people can stay in the condo?
A. Due to, insurance regulations and the rules imposed by the condominium home owners associations, the maximum number of people (adults and children) that we can allow is 7. Any exception must be noted in writing.
Q. Can I use the condominium for weddings, family reunion etc.?
A. There are facilities to accommodate weddings, parties, dinners, family reunions, business meetings or other gathering. They may be reserved and rented from the HOA.
Q. How are the Properties equipped - what should I bring?
A. The condo is fully furnished and outfitted with kitchen, dining and living areas. Dishes, cooking utensils, etc. are provided. Bath towels and bed linens are also provided. The condominiums are supplied with start up bathroom tissue, shampoo and bath soap, once those supplies are depleted you will need to provide your own. You may also wish to bring beach towels, beach chairs and umbrellas, groceries, soaps and paper products.
Q. What do I do if there are problems with my condo?
A. In the unlikely event that an appliance or air conditioner fails, it will be repaired as quickly as possible to the property manager. Please report any problems at once so that they may be corrected.
Q. Is there free parking?
A. Yes. There is free parking. The unit has two assigned subterranean parking spaces. Others my part in any legal parking space in the community, provided they display a valid parking permit issued at the front gate.
Q. Can I bring my pet?
A. Yes. Your small pets are welcome. However, you are responsible for any damage or mess caused by your pet. Please clean up after your pet.
Q. How do I make a reservation?
A. Respond to this listing, stating the dates you desire, the number of people in your party, if you will be bringing your pet and any questions you have.

Great Shores rental

Our family has stayed in this coronado shores unit the past two summers and plan to stay again! This is by far the nicest rental unit in the Shores complex, and we have stayed in many over the years. The finishes are top notch (custom woods, stone, granite) not the dingy, musty, outdated finishes in the majority of the rentals in the Shores buildings. The master is good size with a desk looking out to the ocean with his and hers closets and toilets. (huge bonus!!) The master bath has a huge walk in shower with multiple shower heads and steam. The secondary bedroom is good sized and has an extra twin bed as well as a nice sitting chair. The secondary bathroom is nicely finished with stone and a large walk in shower. The den has a futon that can be used as a bed although we used this room as our TV room while we stayed. There is another nicely finished bath with a shower which is a plus as most units only have 2 bathrooms. The laundry area is good sized and has side by side washer and dryer (almost all units have small stackable units) The wet bar has both a wine and beverage refrigerators a sink and ice maker. The owner is very friendly, easy to reach and should anything come up he is very attentive. This unit is in the building closest to the Del Coronado Hotel which makes it very convenient for walking or riding bikes into town to all of the great restaurants. While the unit is not ocean "front" the view of the ocean can be seen in every room and the sounds of the waves can be heard throughout. Believe me, the finishes make up for not being right not he sand! The complex has both kid and quiet pools plus a clubhouse with great views and a bar right on the ocean. The clubhouse also hosts bingo on Mondays and other activities. There is also a gym in the complex but the if you're a runner/walker there is a great "loop" around the island that takes you under the bridge. I highly recommend staying in the unit if you plan a trip to Coronado!

This beautiful beach front property was ideally located for beach activities. You can wake up early and watch the orange red sunrise with your cup of coffee from your living room or outside deck. This property is the last home on the pacific ocean in the United States. It is separated from Mexico with an active Wildlife Sacntuary with bird watchers coming from all over the world. You can walk into town in the evening for dinner or cocktails after a sunset walk on the beach without the crowds. It feels like your own private beach with the exception of various surfers catching the morning and evening waves. While sleeping you hear the waves crashing on to the shore. It is a delightful bright clean wonderful place to retreat or vacatation

About the owner: I often watch the sun set over the ocean and Point Loma from this five-star property. I am an active person and enjoy the activities that Coronado offers. While I do much traveling, Coronado is home. I'm sure that you will fall in love with Coronado as I have.
