You’ll find all the comforts of home—and then some—at the Santa Rosa Creekside Studio. This newly refurbished unit is located near major highways on the southeast side of Santa Rosa next to a creek that runs through the Bennett Valley area. The green canopy of trees and lush foliage outside your window will make you quickly forget you’re staying in the heart of Wine Country’s largest city!
Please note that the studio is a detached unit located adjacent to our home in a suburban neighborhood. Although you’ll have plenty of privacy while sitting in the hot tub or relaxing in the garden courtyard next to the unit, you will occasionally hear sounds of civilization. If you want a remote rural setting, this is not your best choice. But if you want a comfortable, elegant hideaway nearby everything you want to see and do, the Santa Rosa Creekside Studio can’t be beat!
The Santa Rosa Creekside Studio is literally minutes from dozens of Sonoma County’s finest wineries, the Russian River, redwood forest hiking trails, Sonoma State University and much more. Some of the nearby attractions (an hour or less) include San Francisco, Marin County, the Golden Gate Bridge, Bodega Bay and California’s breathtaking northern coastal areas, Sonoma, Napa, natural hot spring and mineral baths… the list goes on.

We borrowed this from another review but, it is very true. Creekside is located 30 min. from Sonoma or Napa. About an hour to San Fran and Muir Woods. Comfy bed and nice shower. They had many amenities that made our stay feel like home. Very close to Safeway grocery store to stock up on food. We also enjoyed hiking around Anadel Park which is only 5 min. away. We give it five stars for being just what we were looking for.Recommended for: Age 55+, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

What a wonderful retreat! We spent 4 weeks here in Jan/Feb. Almost hesitate spreading the word of how great Creekside is so that we can have it available for ourselves the next time we come out to Santa Rosa. Location location location! It's close to all sorts of restaurants, fast food, theaters and shopping, and yet it's only 3 minutes away from any major highway you want. Within an hour or so you can be at the ocean, SanFrancisco or any of the Wine Valleys nearby The best part is its on a quiet residential street on a lot that backs up to a ravine and the creek. Very idyllic setting. We even had a family of deer wander up a couple of mornings. The studio is spacious, nicely furnished and decorated and fully equipped. Even had cable TV stations galore. Great Landlords with a great space!Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing.

We came to Santa Rosa to visit friends and the wine country. This was a perfect place for us, so comfortable, so clean. I loved the hot tub, relaxing under stars and relaxing in the morning watching squirrels chase each other over the trees. The space is very peaceful. Hope to return sometime. My sister and I along with our mom scrapbooked all weekend for our mom's 60th birthday. The hosts moved furniture around to accomodate us, and were such gracious hosts! The studio is cute and charming, easy to find and perfect for what we needed. I would recommend it to anyone!Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway.

We stayed at the Creekside Studio for about a week, and visited our son and family during the days. It was a lovely place, and we sure enjoyed it. One day we brought our daughter and grandsons to see it, and the 3-year old climbed up on the bed, and fell in love with the bed spread. It was so smooth and soft, and he started taking his shirt off! Guess he wanted the whole "soft" experience on his skin! We had everything we needed, and enjoyed our stay very much.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We love vacationing in the California wine country and read all the great reviews about Creekside Studio. It truly is a wonderful place to stay. Great place. We felt right at home from the moment we walked in the door. We were visiting our son and his family in Santa Rosa and found Creekside to be a perfect retreat from chasing around our four year old grandson. Tim and Barbara made sure we had everything we needed. Very convenient to major arteries yet had a feeling of a quiet retreat. We will return if the schedule permits.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We were taking a trip to wine country and needed a nice place to stay near the center of the region. Santa Rosa was a great area and Creekside Studio was an ideal place to stay! The place was in excellent condition, well decorated, and overall, very relaxing and homey. Tim and Barbara could not have been more hospitable! The whole experience was great. We would definitely stay there again if we come back to Santa Rosa!Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Because of its location, we felt that we had escaped from the city, but not too rural. Very comfortable!! Plenty of room. Nicely decorated. Barbara and Tim were excellent hosts and accomodating. We hope to stay there again in the very near future. It is in an ideal location for wine tasting, sight seeing, freeway access, but not congested.Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My wife and I stayed at the Creekside Studio for a week and we really enjoyed the place, Nice green space on a ravine close to everything. Also the information we got from Tim and Barbara was perfect. They told us about local spots that we never would have found unless we spent hours researching. About the owner: Barbara and Tim are your property owners, and Tim will handle the communication regarding your rental inquiries and booking. Barbara is a psychotherapist, and Tim is a marketing consultant and website designer. We have worked together to create this vacation rental unit and put love into the project. We want you to enjoy your stay, and so we've tried to imagine what we would want if we were staying there. If it's within reason and we can help, we'll do what we can. Our goal is to have you come back and refer your friends!
Why the Owner Chose Santa Rosa:
This studio is on our residential property, so it wasn't a separate purchase (as the question kind of implies...) Our goal was to create a vacation rental that would give us enough extra income to do more vacationing ourselves! The space was completely refurbished in July, 2010.
The Unique Benefits at this Studio:
Probably the best aspect of the Santa Rosa Creekside Studio is where it's located. You get a private, woodsy view on the banks of a creek that runs through Santa Rosa's Bennett Valley area. But you are just minutes from dozens of wineries, and an hour or less to the Pacific Coast, San Francisco, the Russian River, Napa and Sonoma, Redwood forests, you name it. We're only a couple minutes from two major highways, and you can get around Santa Rosa from here on foot, by bike and by car. Downtown Santa Rosa is just a 7-minute drive.
