Our small retreat is located down a private lane with a gated beach access for residents only. This one bedroom unit is just steps away from beautiful Kailua Beach. This special retreat has its own entry gate and is flanked by two private yards.
Waking up to catch a beautiful Kailua Beach sunrise is something you will always remember. Whether you spend your day sightseeing, enjoying water activities, or sitting under the swaying palm trees with a good book or ...each night the sounds of the ocean will lull you to sleep.
Amenities include:
One queen-size bed, a private bath with shower, cable TV, WiFi, linens provided, beach chairs, beach towels, beach mats, insulated cooler bag for your day at the beach, an outdoor sitting area, small kitchenette with microwave, coffee maker, toaster and small refrigerator. An iron, blow dryer, soaps and shampoo are provided in the unit.
On your day of arrival a complimentary welcome basket of fresh fruit, coffee, tea, etc. is provided.
Owner is a fourth generation island resident who was raised in Kailua.

Just what we needed to start our visit to Hawaii! Even the Tsunami Warning and evacuation has a piece in our beautiful picture of Kailua. The cottage was perfect, the beach amazing and your hospitality so comfortable and welcoming. If we ever have an opportunity to return we would welcome it with joy. Many thanks for your hospitality. Enjoyed the Pali yesterday early and spotted a new bird...Hill Robin. We made salad for lunch with papaya and cottage cheese. Thank you! Snorkeled from Lanikai Beach Park out to Flat Island and back. Enjoyed Chao Phya Thai in Kaneohe and brought home enough for tonight too. Relaxing, Refreshing, Wonderful. The moment we got here you were so welcoming! Your cottage was perfect for our honeymoon. We loved the closeness to the beach & appreciated the beach chairs & boogie boards! Words cannot describe how much we appreciated your hospitality. We absolutely loved our stay. Unfortunately our trip has come to an end but we will for sure be back! This is a fabulous studio! This was my wife's first visit to the islands - I can't think of a better intro to Kailua than your place. I've stayed at many Kailua B&Bs - yours is by far the best! I was surprised by the feeling of coming home when we pulled up to park the day we arrived. That says it all. D & I want to think of this as our place. We don't get to come here very often. Our two week stay at your VRBO was simply incredible - all the way from the proximity to the beach to coming home to a quiet place after doing/seeing a ton of sites around Oahu! We celebrated my 50th birthday, surfed, ate, drank, snorkeled, walked, swam, enjoyed nature, and the friendliness of the Hawaiians, shopped - took it all in! We had an amazing three days here! The studio is adorable & incredibly comfortable. The beach is beautiful! We enjoyed several walks & gorgeous sunrise! Owner info
About the owner: We are both professionals and newly empty-nesters. We want to share our guest area with visitors who wish to enjoy our lovely location. We opened our guest area to visitors while the kids were away at college and closed it in 2005. Now we are once again welcoming guests!
Why the Owner Chose Kailua:
After college and graduate school on the mainland we knew we wanted to raise our family in my hometown of Kailua. We made this our family home where we enjoyed raising our children. We wanted our kids as well as their friends, to enjoy the laid back lifestyle and all the activities the beach has to offer.
The Unique Benefits at this Studio:
Our beachside lane is very visitor friendly. The private beach access for 'lane residents only' is definitely a plus. So come and enjoy.
