  This was the perfect house for our family vacation. The house is absolutely beautiful! We all loved the screened in lanai, pool and hot tub. There were plenty of lounge chairs and the table for 6 by the pool was perfect. The electric grill worked great and everyone enjoyed eating by the pool. The bedrooms, each with a private bath, worked great for us. The kitchen was well stocked and had plenty of room for the 3 cooks. The living room furniture was very comfortable and provided enough seating for all of us to watch movies or just talk. The pool, lanai and yard were well maintained and the house was spotless! We would definitely love to come back and would highly recommend this beautiful house.

  The time we spent at this house was truly amazing. There was plenty of room for the six of us. It was beautifully decorated and every room was spectacular. The pool and hot tub were perfect for our kids. They really enjoyed fishing off the dock, and even caught seven fish. There were plenty of towels and beach towels provided for us all. I loved having mackel park located near us. Thank you for our stay, and it was by far the best house we have stayed in!

  We had a great experience at this property. We had 2 families in the house, with children ages 4,3, 1 and 1. The house was perfect for us and the location was great, with a nice park and pond across the street!

  We have thoroughly enjoyed our stays at this lovely home. It is tastefully decorated with numerous amenities including the recent additions of new carpeting and high efficiency washer and dryer. The house is large and lets every one do what they would like to do. It’s great having 3 king beds. We all love the pool and spa - what a reprieve from Northern Winter. There is a nice park across the street to either walk or enjoy with the bicycles in the garage. We all attended a concert there, too. We enjoy the canal behind the house; we’ve even seen manatee in there. Marco Island is great place to visit with wonderful restaurants and fun things to do - we look forward to returning next year!

  We love Marco Island! What a great little Island. Sunny with picture perfect beaches! We think we rented the best house on the island. Talking about value for money! We loved the floor plan and décor. We will be back next year. Max, thank you so much for making our stay so memorable.

  In general, we had a good time and the house served us well. Marco Island was a bit of a disappointment because there are only three public beaches, one you can only walk to (and was too far for that), and the other two had parking quite a distance from the beach so you had to lug all of your beach gear 2 blocks for one and about 5 block for the other. There were six of us. The layout of the house was great. We each had our own bath. The kitchen was big enough for all of us to be in there during meal preparation. The location was good, although it is on the end of a canal so you get a lot of junk in the water. The boat dock was well equipped. The pool bathroom and grill were great! The appliances in this house need updating or repair. The washing machine shook so badly that the first time we heard it we thought something was breaking in the house. The toaster was a complete joke. Couldn't even fit a large piece of bread in it. The knobs on the cooktop were loose, so you had to switch them from burner to burner, and you were never sure what the setting was for a burner. The cooktop was a conduction type, which is high-end, but it works differently enough that we weren't sure when it was on and when it was off. The house was equipped well with pool toys, but the bathrooms needed additional towels. Only one hand towel per bathroom, and the half bath didn't have any. Our first night there, the pool controls drained the hot tub, and often the hot tub wasn't hot. When the pool guy was there, he said you shouldn't use the controls on the tub at all, use the ones in the outside bathroom.

  Owner response: Dear Mary, Thank you very much for your review. We try to maintain our house to the highest standard. To be honest I’m somewhat puzzled by your review. If you had contacted our agent or me, we would have responded to you questions immediately. I have looked into your comments. There are 21 large bath towels and 21 hand towels in the house. The controls on the hot tub are all marked: jets, heater, lights etc. The only way to drain the tub is by pressing the drain button. We installed new knobs on the burner. There were 2 spare ones in the drawer. The settings on the cook top range from low (1) to high (8). There are two toasters in the house, one for thin slices and one for larger pieces of bread. We tested the washing machine and it works and washes perfectly. I don’t know what the noise made. In the meantime we have installed new carpeting. We replaced the microware with a brand new model and now have even more linens, small and large towels.   Arub house was one of the best houses we have ever rented. Very clean, modern and maintained to the fullest. Very nice decor both inside and out. Pool/Spa heaters in excellent working order and the pool was spotless. I would recommend this property to all who visit Marco Island. The location was perfect and centered nicely on the Island. Jason at Marco Escapes (local property manager) was always in contact to insure everthing was great.

  We stayed at this beautifully decorated home 12 july - 25 july 2011 The house was really nice, with 4 bedrooms all with beautiful bathroom(s). There is a large swimming pool and spa. The house and screened lanai are very spacious. Great kitchen and nice outside grill. The house was very clean. The weather was really nice, the sea is very close and the house is on the canal with a big dock. Shopping and dining is less than 5 minutes from the house and you can go out for dinner at different places near the house. We came from the Netherlands and loved it! The wifi inside made it possible to keep in touch with our family and friends back home.
