  We stayed in this beautiful condo for the month of March, 2013 - our 2nd trip here. The property is in a wonderful location and the condo unit is very well equipped and maintained with a beautiful view - exactly as advertised. The owners are very responsive and helpful. After two lengthy stays here we are not able to think of any negatives - indeed the only disappointment we have experienced has been the return trip home.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

  We checked out of your lovely place this morning. We believe your home is wherever you share space with those you love. Number 310 was a perfect home for the last 5 days. Nature's majesty greeted us early each morning and said goodbye each evening with some of the most stunning sunsets that are imprinted in our memories forever.   Excellent stay and comfortable condo. Surfside has a great grassy area for playing bocci, yoga, etc. Adjacent to the Kihei boat marina for water excursions. Walking down the beach is ideal with many destinations such as restaurants, points of interest, etc. Fantastic snorkelling everywhere and lots of turtles right off shore at this point.

  Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

  We had a great time! We loved the apartment and everything was clean and beautiful. We enjoyed sitting out on the balcony to watch the sunset almost every night. Thank you!

  Aloha Mr. Arnicans! We had a wonderful trip! Your condo is immaculate,beautifully decorated and roomy. I have rented several different condos on my yearly visits to Maui and your condo is by far the best with regards to location, accommodations, and amenities. My only suggestion would be to have additional comfortable seating other than the single couch. Perhaps, an armchair? The dinette area and 2 rattan stools were not ideal for lounging after a long day at the beach or sightseeing. Having that extra bathroom and all that storage area was a PLUS! No waiting or stepping over suitcases! Thank you! I am considering a visit during the holidays and may be contacting you. If not, you will be on my list for future visits and I will recommend #310 to my friends.

  In one word "Fantastic, Super" okay two words. Funny thing is, we were there for a friends wedding and most of the other guests had rented in the same building, and all came to the same opinon, you have a wonderful place. We in fact are passing along to our airline friends the pictures from our stay, and of course your contact info. We plan on calling you again for another visit, and are just counting the days when we can do so again. Thank you so very much

  Hi, Edwin and Wendy. We had a WONDERFUL visit in your condo! Thank you for taking the time to email and ask :). Really enjoyed the decor and upgrades to the unit. Both bathrooms were simply beautiful! The kitchen had all utensils and things we could possibly need. The unit was very, very clean upon arrival (thanks to good housekeeping!). Thank you for having the closet full of goodies too (boogie board, pool noodle, drying rack, etc). The staff at Surfside were so friendly and caring. There were some folks smoking in the unit next to us, which kept wafting into our unit, and the Surfside folks kept on top of them to be sure it stopped :). In our opinion, the BEST condo at Surfside. Thank you so much for letting us stay. We will be back for sure some day! :) Best wishes, Melissa

  This was our first visit to Maui in many years and this condo did not disappoint. The Kihei Surfside is a great complex with amazing views. Access to a beautiful, un-crowded beach is just footsteps away through the adjacent condo complex. The grounds were well maintained and we enjoyed the lawn area and BBQ area in the evenings. It is also nice to have the 5 Palms restaurant right next door for dinner, drinks, or appetizers and kinda gives you the "resort" feel. We also did the Bluewater snorkeling/rafting tour from the Kihei boat launch which was super convenient because the launch area is a short walk from the condo unit. The unit was very clean upon our arrival. The bathrooms and bedroom very nicely updated and clean. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and is also tastefully updated. Parking was super easy. We didn't mind not having A/C because of the nice breeze which blew right through the unit every afternoon. The only comment would be that you shouldn't expect to sleep-in too late in the mornings because of there is a melody birds and roosters outside your window. Not sure if it's like that year round? All in all... a great place and great value. The owner(s) were very responsive and easy to deal with. We're already talking about our return trip. Thank you!!!

  Thank you so much for providing us with such a beautiful condo for our vacation to Maui. The condo was spotless when we arrived and the view blew all of us away. We've rented our share of condos and this one was by far the best we've experienced. Everything was top notch and gorgeous. We felt right at home because you really went out of your way to make sure the condo has everything a family would need on vacation. This was one of the best vacations we've had in a while and a lot of it had to do with staying at such a fabulous condo. We're all dreaming about coming back to Maui and of course to your condo. We can't imagine staying anywhere else from now on. Thanks again for helping us have such a fun and memorable vacation!!!

  I just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed your lovely condo at the Surfside. Everything was perfect and the Surfside is such a wonderful spot, we met many owners and other lovely people during our visit (and some we know from South Surrey). We hope to get back some day.

  We had such a wonderful vacation. It's hard to leave this beautiful island and condo! Highlights: -catamaran trip to Lanai with Trilogy -snorkeling with turtles at Maluaka Beach -coffee plantation in hills behind Lahaina; they were harvesting -morning coffee on the lanai The condo is so nicely done with all we could want. We are even taking reno. ideas home with us. Mahalo.

  We had a wonderful time and thorouhgly enjoyed our stay at your lovely condo. For future visitors, some info: Fred's Mexican Restaurant up the road is excellent. Bubba Gump's in Lahaina in not. Best snorkelling in the area was Makenna Beach. We look forward to our next visit!

  What a beautiful condo! We had a great time walking on the beach and playing in the waves. Even joined a noodle exercise class in the ocean! We think Kihei Surfside is the only place to stay in Maui. We will be back again next year. Mahalo.

  We stayed in Unit #310 at the Kihei Surfside and found excellent upgrades with a rockstar view and attentive management who maintained the grounds with attention to detail. Upgraded bathrooms and flat screen TV's. New appliances with everything we needed to hang out for a week. The in-room printer failed to print though which was not too much of an issue due to the numerous internet cafe's in town to print our boarding passes. We bbq'd almost every night (stocked up with needed groceries at Costco and Safeway the first day) and enjoyed the amazing sunsets every night. From our bldg we could walk a mere 100yrds to the south along a walkway to a sweet spot on the beach to enjoy sun-bathing, swimming and relaxing. When not catching rays; we took 1/2day trips to Lahaina, Kihei, Paia, Hana, Makena, Wailea, Kapalua (for disc golf) and Makawao for shopping and sight seeing. Great time in Maui in a nice Condo. Can't wait to do it again.

  Edwin, Great! We went fishing yesterday, caught a 100 lb shark, two 40 lb ono, and one 18 lb mahi-mahi. Weather has been variable but excellent, occasionally too hot for Alaskans/Canadians! Big project now next door at Mana Kai, they are completely shut down for electrical upgrades for 2-3 weeks over there starting 3 days ago, lots of noise. Your condo is very nice, everything fine. We never cooked, our fav restaurants are Aroma Italian next to Foodland, and of course Matteo’s in Wailea. The maids will hardly know we were here, we are great renters! My only suggestion is to install a stronger flow Canadian/European showerhead. The low-flow makes you stay in there 3 x longer to get the soap off, thus negating the purpose! Back to Alaska tomorrow morning……ahhhh….. hope to visit again soon. Jeff & Tanya

  Hi Edwin, Sorry for my delayed response. My computer was in for repairs. Anyway, we had an awesome time. Everything went great (well, almost - they lost our luggage for a day) But other than that, everything was wonderful. We loved the condo and the location. I can't think of anything that wasn't provided. We loved the building's staff too and borrowed movies every night. The only thing that we wished for was a little less wind - had to close everything up when we went out as sand and grit would blow in if we didn't. But no one can do anything about that!!! Thanks again, and we will definitely recommend your condo to others. Evana

  Awesome! The condo has everything you could ask for. Well equipped. Just bring food and enjoy. The view alone is worth the stay. Good location and surprisingly quiet at night. Will be back someday!

  Nicely updated condo. Great cabinets, tiling, granite. The owners thoughtfully stocked the kitchen and put in beach stuff in one of the closets. Very nice view from the lanai. It's 5 min from the cove, a good surf spot for beginners. The condo itself is located a little bit aways from the main drag which is nice. The beach is easy to access from the condo. We really enjoyed our stay here!
