Welcome to Rainbow Ridge, Ridgeview Villa Cabin 103 on Upper Whitefish Lake on the Whitefish Chain of Lakes. Rumor has it Paul Bunyan slept here while Babe the Blue Ox slept outside.

The Air Conditioned cabin features two bedrooms and two baths and sleeps six to eight people. The master bedroom boasts a king sized log bed and two single beds. The main floor bedroom has two twin log beds. The town home is one of just four units so you have privacy and a few people around.
The kitchen is fully equipped for any chef including a dishwasher, service for 12 and lots of quality cookware. The wood burning fire place in the living room has plenty of cut wood. Watch the game on the satellite TV or check out the panoramic views of Upper Whitefish Lake from your spacious deck. Count the eagles flying by. Great for families with small children or a group of golfers.
Let the loons lull you to sleep.

The listing description and photographs were very accurate. The property was clean and well maintained. The owner was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to make our vacation a great experience. We would recommend this rental property to our friends and family. One of the important reasons we picked this unit was because it is pet friendly. Since we rented for a month, it was crucial that we could bring our 2 little dogs on vacation with us. The panoramic view of the lake was stunning and so relaxing. We loved just sitting on the deck and taking it all in! Bird watchers will enjoy the eagles soaring and the loons gathering on the lake. Night time brought the moon shining on the water and the stars lighting the sky. We had a great time with family and friends on our month get away and hope to return next summer. Many thanks to the owners for sharing their special place!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway.

Stayed in this up north style cabin with our son, his wife and their two small children. I loved the great views, couldn't get enough of lake watching. The kids enjoyed the "funny loons" as they called them. They had lots of questions about their habitat so it was a great learning experience. We biked to the eagles nest and found the adult pair in the nest looking down at us. The remains of their fish lunch was on the ground. The beach area has gentle shallow water and gradually grew deeper so we all enjoyed a swim. I highly recommend it.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

We have had the pleasure of staying in this townhome several times... it is everything the description states... and more. Relax to the sounds of the loons, and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Bring some food and a few good books and you will never want to leave... nor will you have to.... the owners have provided all the conveniences you could want!!Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

About the owner: My husband and I wanted the Minnesota Dream—a cabin on a lake. Everybody in Minnesota goes “up to the cabin” or “has a lake up north.” We were fortunate to find the ideal place for family and friends to gather to golf, boat and fish and enjoy winter sports like snowmobiling.
Why the Owner Chose Brainerd:
The Whitefish Chain of Lakes is an easy ride from the Brainerd airport and just a couple hours from the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul. The Brainerd Lakes area has two indoor water parks, many championship golf courses and plenty of unique restaurants. Other amenities include miniature golf, the Brainerd Raceway, horseback riding and bumper cars.
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin:
We found the Whitefish Chain of Lakes ideal because the Chain contains 13 lakes and 7370 acres of lake shore. Great for boating to lunch and catching walleyes and northern. Each lake is unique and fun to explore. Some lakes are small and have great swimming beaches while others contain private islands and deep waters. We love boating on each one.
