Windcrest's stunning panoramic view will blow you away. This romantic getaway offers all the comforts and amenities of home on the island paradise of St John. Both suites are fully air conditioned, well appointed (including WiFi) and tastefully decorated. The common pool shares Windcrest's forever view over three bays to St. Croix, forty miles to the south. Windcrest is ideally located above the south shore and Westin Resort providing island serenity a short drive from the famous National Park beaches and quaint Cruz Bay.

Choose the loft suite or garden suite. The suites are situated above and below creating complete privacy with separate parking and entrances. For two (2) couples vacationing together Windcrest provides a short garden walk between the rental suites.

In the loft suite, the expansive sliding glass doors and arched windows bring the view indoors - even to the queen-sized bed. A shaded and open sunshine deck wraps around the loft suite and is complete with hot tub and gas grill. The loft can be fully air-conditioned or you can enjoy the tradewinds that cool it naturally. The cathedral ceiling, gracious, and well appointed living area, create a charming and comfortable retreat.

The garden suite has the same amazing forever view. This well designed space includes a queen size mahogany captain's bed built into an incredible volcanic rock wall. The chef designed kitchen leads out to the covered deck for alfresco dining. The garden space has a small office for those that need to keep in touch while in paradise. Air conditioning and soft, comfortable furniture for relaxing complete this vacation haven.

The hot tub and gas grill are exclusive to the loft suite. The pool is shared.

VRBO Bear loved the view of Great Cruz Bay

VRBO Bear stayed here - 02/19/2004 Windcrest is a cute deck wrapped detached townhouse with an expansive view of St. John and Great Cruz Bay. This was a perfect location for a traveling bear to unwind and relax. Just sitting on the deck watching the view (or soaking in the hot tub) is a fabulous way to forget all your worries.

As those who have visited St. John will tell you, St. John (and most of the USVI) is very hilly and the streets are mostly unmarked, so it was very nice of of Vicky to meet us at the ferry and guide us to Windcrest. Driving on the LEFT side of the road, took a bit of getting used to, but within a day or two, my VRBO buddies and I were getting around just like native St. Johnians. We did have to keep an eye out for the local wildlife however, the donkeys, goats, sheep, and especially the friendly iguanas.

The beaches on St. John are world class and there are many to choose from within a short drive - so bring your snorkeling gear, or take some snorkeling lessons while you are here. After a relaxing dinner at one of St. John's many fine restaurants, return to Windcrest and enjoy viewing the brilliant Caribbean stars from the deck before making your way up the spiral staircase to the loft bedroom. After a good nights sleep, awaken in the morning to a cool ocean breeze and the fantastic view right from your bed.

Windcrest comes equipped with many thoughtful items to make you feel right at home: fresh cut flowers, beach towels, ice chest, beach chairs, St. John guide books and helpful tips on where to eat and what to see while on St. John.

  • Windcrest Villa was exactly what we were looking for! It was the perfect place to go "home" to after beaching or bumming around all day. Being able to have our morning, and end of the day, cup of coffee sitting on the deck, enjoying the amazing view will be in our minds forever! Windcrest had everything we needed...and even things we didn't think of. Deborah was very helpful with information for us, and it was great doing business with Vicky. We will definitly be going back!   • No A/C needed in the lost suite - the breezes day and night were heavenly! The resident cat was a nice touch of home. It was such a wonderful place to grill out and eat dinner - you can't beat the view! It's definately a perfectly private place for a couple!

  • We stayed here for our honeymoon in December 2004, and it was wonderful! Vicky is a terrific host and was very helpful in advice on what to do on St. John. Windcrest itself leaves nothing to be desired. It is very comfortable and serves as a great home away from home. The villa was extremely private and relaxing while only being a convenient 5 minutes from town - which is important in St. John. Staying at Windcrest with a rented Jeep is the ONLY way to enjoy St. John in our opinion! Thank you for a great place to stay on our honeymoon!

  • We stayed for the first time in March of 04 and can't wait to go back, res. already made for Feb 05. We wanted for nothing,and those nights!!!Oh those Caribbean nights, with breezes coming in over our loft bedroom, waking to a view that took our breath away. Went to lots of beaches, great snorkling-saw a sea turtle! Perfect.
