  I wanted to take my mother away for a little holiday. She loves the ocean and a peaceful setting, along with a well-appointed place to stay. Jackie and Shawn's condo totally fit the bill. The location (wonderful view and deck) was incredible and the condo had everything plus more. The attention to detail, including a welcoming bottle of wine, was second to none. We enjoyed sitting on the deck every morning with our coffee, again later with a good book, and then end the day with a glass of wine or a cup of tea. Fantastic! We also enjoyed the nearby artisans and went home with some souvenirs! I hope to return one day. This condo is very reasonably priced for what one receives in return. Thank you Jackie and Shawn.

  Wow, what a fantastic condo! The location right at the edge of the ocean could not have been better and the unit itself was very clean, quiet and decorated wonderfully. The kitchen was spacious and very well equipped. Enjoying a meal at the dining table with an uninstructed view of the ocean was absolutely wonderful. This has to be one of the top vacation rentals we have seen throughout our many travels over the years and we would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a luxury rental in a relaxing location with an outstanding view of the ocean. Thanks for sharing your unit, wished we could have stayed longer.

  We couldn't have been happier with our stay. The owner's were incredibly accommodating, the place was very clean, and the views were unforgettable. I would highly recommend this condo for anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere.

  We just arrived home from an amazing vacation on Yellow Point at this immaculately-appointed vacation rental. The two bedroom condo, which looks like it came straight out of a Pottery Barn catalogue, was very clean and equipped with everything that a family of four could possibly need during a one week vacation. The condo has stunning views of the ocean and has a large wrap-around deck. The view and deck made our stay especially amazing --- we even witnessed a pod of killer whales breaching just off the coastline as we sat on the deck one night! Our children enjoyed swimming in the large pool daily and we enjoyed the hot tub. This is certainly a great spot for a little R&R or family time. We'll be back....

  We arrived for our week stay and found this condo to be all that the pictures and words describe and more. The perfect view, quiet location, wonderful grounds, great pool and everything that you could want inside the condo. It was very restful and relaxing. Our teenage daughter loved her room with the ocean view and the large TV. Sitting on the deck and overlooking the pool and the ocean almost made you feel like you were on a cruise. This resort is in a great location to visit the beach in Parksville, the beautiful town of Chemainus or even a day trip to Victoria. Lots of activities within a very short distance like kayaking in Ladysmith, the wild play park, hiking, and shopping in the small towns. We enjoyed the rocky beach looking for crabs, the magnificent sunrise and driving the tree lined roads around the area. The owners, Jackie and Shawn, were great people to deal with, gracefully answering all our questions. Would recommend this property to everyone. Thank You!

  The condo looks exactly like the photos online. The owners have tastefully decorated the apartment... its a beautiful condo and it has everything that you would need for your vacation and then some. The view... well its truly spectacular. You need a car as it is a little out of the way and the only downside was that one week was not enough.

Our waterfront acreage is located just off of the meandering Yellow Point Road. This short jaunt along the country road gives us and our guest a few minutes to unwind, chill and ready ourselves for rest and relaxation at the condo. Watch out for Island Deer! We are located mid Island in a fantastic location for day trips in either direction. Lots to explore and experience and enjoy!

  We arrived at this amazing location and it looked exactly like the pictures on the web! Many of the pictures we took while we were sitting on the deck watching the tide roll in, was just like the one listed. What a beautiful condo! Definitely a 5 star! The decor was awesome, the amenities was plentiful, and the whole place, inside and out, was luxurious. They thought of everything - there are movies, books, games, outside play things, AND even a crab trap! Sitting on the deck in the morning and evening and hearing the birds sing,and the waves lapping on the rocks as the tide was coming in, made the world seem a long ways away. The people in the complex were very helpful and friendly. We were even able to cook with fresh herbs from a "shared garden". Sitting is the hot tub in the misty, cool rain, made you forget how chilly it really was outside! We so want to go back and spend more time there. The people in the complex were very helpful and friendly. They recommended we visit Chamainus and we loved that little town. All this to say - if you want to feel like royalty, enjoy nature, and get energized to return to the world, this place would be highly recommended by us. Thank you Jackie and Shawn!

  Owner response: Sandra thanks for sending us the photo, that was awesome! Our crab trap has seen lots of action. It's a toss up. . do the crabs like chicken backs better? or turkey parts? Many a feast of crab and fish caught from the dock and fresh dug clams from our bay have been enjoyed on our deck and dining table. Get adventuresome, dig some clams, lower a crab trap and feast from our bountiful ocean, all steps from our deck! To be enjoyed by whomever chooses!

  My wife and I absolutely loved Yellow Point Retreat. The photos on the website are stunning, but the condo is really something you need to experience in person. From the gorgeous décor to the incredible panoramic view from the windows and the wraparound veranda, we were nothing short of amazed. We will definitely be back as we enjoyed every moment. It was a true getaway from the stress of the everyday, and we left feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. Jackie and Shawn, you were wonderful to deal with and you have truly thought of everything to make your condo a fantastic vacation retreat. Thank you so much!

  Owner response: A question we often get asked is "Are these pictures of the condo we are going to rent?". Our response is of course Yes. What you see in the photos is what you get. It is good to know that our condo is better in person than what the photos depict. We have just updated our pool and hot tub deck. Our swimming pool deck cantilevers the ocean. The new glass enclosure lets you see that you are engulfed by ocean. It is fabulous.

  Your condo is truly the perfect retreat. It is a paradise exactly as described. I only wish I had been able to stay longer then a week to enjoy everything about it. It's heavenly to sit on the deck and just take in the scenery and wildlife around you. And honestly, there are so many windows you can enjoy the view from inside the condo as well. Simply a beautiful place, inside and out. All the comforts of home (and more). Even cooking wasn't a chore in such a gorgeous kitchen. We had family as guests for dinner one night and they have lived in various parts of BC and Alberta for years and even they were impressed with your condo and the view. I had such good sleeps; the beds are awesome! Waking to the beautiful sunrise each morning was amazing...I kept the blinds up so I wouldn't miss it. And then one morning, the unexpected (and the highlight of my week). I was watching the birds gather on the water and then I noticed a seal, then there were three, then there were a dozen, probably more. While watching them, I heard a noise and I couldn't believe my eyes...it was killer whales...not one, not two, but at least 6!!! And with the binoculars you had in the condo we could watch them long after they were not visible to the eye. They came back to visit us the next day as well. :-) Never in my dreams did I think I would witness nature like that. Amazing experience. You certainly do everything to ensure your guests enjoy their stay and I will highly recommend your condo to everyone I know in Ontario. I hope we can get back soon!!.
