  Sunset Manor is a wonderful location for boaters and people interested in fishing and enjoying the waterways! We loved the easy access to Looe Reef and some great fishing spots...we even made it out to the backcountry..very beautiful. The boat ramp was 2 minutes from the house! We loved the pool for after a day on the water. 2 great spots for eating within minutes...Looe Key Resort Tiki and Boondookers..great drinks and food....We enjoyed our stay and will be back...thank you so much!

  We had an excellent time down in the keys this year. This house was very comfortable for our party and the owner was very responsive to any emails that were sent. The location was close to grocery stores, key west, fishing and lobstering and you could even go out to Little Palm Island for dinner if you wanted. The pool was a great place to chill out before sundown and the spaciousness of the property was enough to park 2 vehicles and a boat trailer...we could have parked more. All of the amenities were nice and the house is well advertised. No surprises! We enjoyed our stay immensely and can't wait to go back. Thank you for allowing us to rent your house!

  What an awesome place!! We had a great 2 weeks and have already booked for next year. House is wonderful, very roomy, clean & comfortable. The pool and screened back porch were my favorites. Nice big kitchen too. The guys loved the cleaning station and the roomy dock space. Great location for Diving, Snorkeling, Bike Riding and Paddleboarding! Oh, and our dog loved it too....Will definately become a regular. Looking forward to returning soon!!

  This was the second year staying at Sunset Manor and it won’t be our last…we are staying there again next year for the third time! The house is beautiful with lots of property and a huge dock!!! It has a nice cleaning station for your catch of the day. The kitchen was recently remodeled and the Jacuzzi is brand new. The house was clean and my family enjoyed staying there. The kids enjoyed the beautiful pool every day. The boat ride to open water was only a two minute boat drive. We had a visitor come up and visit us by the dock…a sweet manatee!!! My favorite thing was waking up each morning and enjoying a cup of coffee on the huge screened in patio and then reading a book to my children on the couches out on the patio too. The owner is super nice and communicates right away if you ever need anything. We can’t wait to go backagain to Sunset Manor next summer for our family vacation!!!

  This is our second year at Sunset Manor. We love it! this year we brought the kids and they have had a blast. The first week my husband, his father, our oldest son and a few friends spent the week fishing. Having the boat at the house made the trips a whole lot easier! Our plan to dive/snorkel the second week was cut short when the weather turned bad. The kids were disappointed, but quite happy that they could still swim in the rain!! We will definitely be back again!!!

  Our vacation included two families of three, which the house accommodated well with ample space and amenities to suit everyone. It rained most of our trip, but we still were able to enjoy the heated pool and hot tub, as well as playing games and reading on the large porch. We cooked or grilled most nights, and found the kitchen to have everything we needed. The location is great for making trips to Key West for shopping, dining, and exploring, but secluded enough for privacy and relaxation. There is a public boat landing very close to the house, making it easy to load and unload the boat. It was nice to be able to walk right out the door and onto the boat tied to the dock. The location of the pool was great too. It is set to the side of the house surrounded by lush greenery and flowers for a private feel, but close enough to run into the house if you forgot the sunscreen. We thoroughly enjoyed Sunset Manor, and are thankful to Lucy for making the whole renting process easy and hassle free.

  Our family of six (6) had a wonderful stay at this spacious Sunset Manor. The owner was wonderful to work with when some issues arose during our visit and very prompt to resolve them. We were able to bring two (2) dogs with us with no problems since the yard was fenced. The dogs loved to investigate on this very large property. There was lots to see, including fish and baby barracudas from the dock. There was even a large iguana that stopped by for a short visit. The house was very clean and the pool and spa were very well-maintained. We loved that there was a lot of privacy surrounding the property. The outside veranda was a wonderful gathering place where we enjoyed our morning breakfasts and games, while over-looking the canal. There are fans in every room, which kept the air well circulated and cool. We loved that this property was close to everything in Big Pine Key as well as Key West. We really enjoyed our stay at Sunset Manor and will definitely return in the future.

  Beautiful and spacious canal front home with easy access to boat ramp, Gulf/Atlantic and amenities for vacationers. The pool and grounds were well kept. On the downside, upstair bedrooms were uncomfortably warm with small a/c to assist 3rd "tiny" bedroom. Home is in need of repair and thorough cleaning. The jetted tub is outdated and should be removed. With a little TLC this home will be a ideal home for vacationers outside of the extreme heat months. Owner was easily accessable for tenant.

  Owner response: Sunset Manor at Little Torch Key has only received very positive reviews from our many satisfied guests and in fact several renters from this 2011 season have already re-booked for their 2012 vacations !! The home has central AC, (CAC) and the theromostat can be quite easily regulated in the great room to make it icey cold on the upper floor- at any time of year! The interior of the home which was just remodeled at consideable expense just last year ; receives acclaim from our guests who are overwhelmed by it 's elegance - upon arrival at Sunset Manor. Furthermore; we have heard from several guests that it was the overall cleanest vacation rental they had ever stayed in ,thanks to the hard work of our European trained cleaning service. The hot tub- which is in fine working order; is maintained on a weekly basis, by our professional pool service company.

  For those enjoying nature and a little off the beaten path, this is the house for you. Great boating access, wonderful heated pool, spacious hot tub and lovely landscaped surrounding. Perfect for two couples or a family with children. Home is well equipped for cooking in. Screened porch overlooking the canal is a beautiful place for breakfast and dinner. Owner very helpful with any issues. The sunset deck is very small but beautiful views. Easy commute into key west. Always enjoy Mangrove Mamas restaurant only a few miles south of us

  We go to the Keys alot, this was by far our best vacation due to the house, location, etc. We have already rented for next year. It was beautiful! Easy in and out boat ramp. Close to everything we love ( Key West, fine dining and great fishing, shopping and kayaking). Cant wait to go back......... And we got to take our dogs. They loved it too!
