  Great large house, less then 3 miles from Ski Cooper. Convenient to run into Leadville for the grocery and bring back stuff to cook in the great open kitchen. Loved the heated tile! Good for extended family vacation!

  We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cabin. Only 7 minutes to Ski Cooper. We had everything we needed and more. This place is really in the mountains above 10,000 ft, so you will need four-wheel-drive if it snows! Owner was accommodating, easy to work with, and the cabin was warm and well kept upon our arrival. Cell and Internet Service was a little wimpy but less calls are a good thing while your here! No trash service should be noted. We hope to stay again :)

  The pictures do not do this house justice, it is beautiful! There were 8 adults and 3 children (13, 10 & 7), we had plenty of room and loads of fun. It's great to walk into the "backyard" and be in the national forest. It's located close to hikes and is extremely peaceful. The property is very well maintained and the Cronin's were wonderful to work with. The only comment I could make would be that there is no trash service, so plan on taking the bags home with you. I would definitely recommend this cabin! Thanks for a fantastic weekend!

  I rented this house for myself and a few friends visiting Leadville for a race. The property exceeded our expectations. It was charming, comfortable and spacious. Plenty of sleeping room for a large group. I would definitely stay here again. The listing was accurate, and the house was actually even cuter in person than in the pictures. The property was clean and well maintained. I did have one question and the owner promptly called me back. The property provided many games for children or adults should you encounter bad weather and want to stay inside. The only caution is that cell and Internet service is spotty. However, there is a landline available.

  My family stayed in this comfortable mountain home last year and we couldn't wait to come back this year. In fact, we're going again a second time this year! This is a perfect place to let go & relax with friends and family while you enjoy the heated tile floors, comfortable rooms & the spacious, fully equipped kitchen. As skiers, we love the fact that after a day on the slopes, we are "home" within a few minutes - enjoying a home cooked meal after a hot shower (the main-level bath has a wonderful shower, tiled in earthen slate, which envelops you in warmth and spa-like relaxation). For us, this is a destination for relaxation, and one we hope to make an annual tradition.

  My family and I stayed here for Christmas and had a truly magical time. There were 8 adults and 3 kids. They have a great assortment of games and had everything we needed in the kitchen, as well as extra pillows, beds, and blankets. It provided ample room for us to move comfortably and the table sat all of easily. It was so close to Ski Cooper, town, and the Colorado Trail that we were able to enjoy these as well. We will definitely be staying here again, we want to try it in the summer or fall and take part in these outdoor activities.

  This home is fantastic. They have everything you might need even the items you may have forgotten. You are actually in the mountains - it is soooo quiet and peaceful. 5 STAR CHOICE....

  This cabin was the perfect place for our family to relax and unwind for the weekend. There was so much to do for the entire family; from parents to young children. We enjoyed fantastic hikes, fishing, and just enjoying the beautiful Rocky Mountains.
