Washer and dryer in our condo -- so you can start each day fresh for all that outdoor activity. Hair dryers, shampoo, conditioners, lotions in both baths.
Best sleeping area? The loft with stripped-log beds and 3 skylights (including one in the shower). The master bedroom is pretty good, also.
All beds -- including our sleeper-sofa by the fireplace -- have 3-inch memory foam and down pillows.
The kitchen is, we hope, as well-equipped as yours at home, maybe better. Crockpot - large 6 qt. - choose one of our chili or slow-cooker recipes. Throw in your ingredients on low before bed, or in the morning. When you come back, dinner's ready.
Coffee (dark roast, regular, decaf), tea (black, green, white), hot chocolate and popcorn always in the cabinets. Spices, sugar, creamer.
Barbeque on our deck all year.
Free secure internet/Wi-Fi in the condo. Bring your laptop and/or iPod, MP3 and stream music through our super Logitech speakers. HD/TV for your game system.
Checkers, chess, cards, games, poker chips all for your evening enjoyment.
The free winter shuttle is at the end of our driveway, taking you all around town and to the mountain lodges. We're on the Green Line in winter heading straight to Eagle Lodge. Or drive to Eagle Lodge in less than 5 minutes. Connect to the other free shuttle lines if you're heading to Main or Canyon Lodges.
When summer arrives, we're on the free Purple shuttle line that goes all around town and to the Village, and connects to all other free shuttles.
Super oversized Jacuzzi (16 jets) outdoors and covered - open all year. Sauna open all year. Heated pool and tennis courts open in the summer and early fall.
Billiards, ping pong a short walk away in our rec center.
Free, lit exterior parking immediately below our entrance. Locked ski/board closet next to our entrance door.
We show proof of our ownership of this condo, so you can rent with confidence.

My family went to Mammoth for skiing during Spring Break. We looked for a good priced condo that can fit for 6 ppl (4 adults + 2 kids). We found this one! This is very comfortable, just feel like home. It has everything we need. We have a great time there. My 5 and 7 yrs old are asking when are we going back. My in-laws said I got a good deal. I received prompt responses and helps from the owner. We are looking forward to having a discount on our next visit. Thank you, Colleen.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.
Owner response: You are so welcome, and you were wonderful guests. How kind of you to post a review -- we never ask for reviews so they're such a treat! We're pleased to give discounts to returning guests and we look forward to your next visit. Beautiful Mammoth is waiting for you.

Colleen-Thank you so much for sharing your condo with us! We had a fabulous stay and the fresh snow all around us it was BEAUTIFUL! Our kids kept saying it feels like Christmas! We felt so confortable that after a day on the mountain skiing we just hung out in your condo (we watched movies, played games, used the game room and of course the hot tub). The location was perfect for the shuttle service to and from Eagle Lodge which made it easy for us to hall 3 kids under 8 to and from the ski mountain. My kids all loved skiing (the twins for the first time) and we are already talking about our next trip. Thanks for all the tips especially Schats Bakery it was a treat and we had to stop there twice!Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: A big snowstorm can be a challenge and a thrill -- we're happy that your family enjoyed it. And what amazing, fun and athletic parents you are to attack the mountain with 3 kids under eight in all of that snow! Your kind words make it all worthwhile for us - thank you. Please come back as soon as you can.

Although the snow conditions were not the greatest this season, I always look forward to staying at Colleen's condo. In other years (in other condo's), I may have cancelled my reservations, but because it's so relaxing to stay here I went anyways. I'm glad I did. Colleen is such a pleasure to deal with and makes sure all your needs are taken care of. THANKS COLLEEN for another great season!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: Thank you so much. It's your vacation home, also, when you open the door and we're so glad you feel that way! You are the best guests, welcome anytime.

We have stayed in many condos in Mammoth over the years and this was absolutely our favorite so far. From the first contact with the owner, the experience was fantastic (thanks, Colleen!). After receiving great directions, both as to how to get to the condo and how to operate everything there, we settled in quickly. The first two days, we were so comfy on the sofas/chairs by the fire, watching movies, reading, using the wifi, that we didn't even go skiing (very unusual for us...it was really snowing and blowing and was so nice to have a cozy place to relax)! Beds were super comfy, kitchen and bathrooms well-stocked, and we especially loved the high ceilings and the bird feeders off the balcony. We saw some pretty amazing birds (and there's a book in the condo so you can identify what you see). We slept in the bedroom, but the loft is adorable and very private, with plenty of room if you had a family of four stay there. Shuttle stops and Vons/restaurants are all within walking distance if you choose not to drive. All in all, we can't wait to go back!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: When wild weather and a couple feet of snow hit the mountain, it's good to know the condo was comfortable for you. Mother Nature has a mind of her own! Thank you so much for your helpful comments, and we hope you'll stay here again soon.

Mammoth Mountain is stunningly beautiful and the village is charming. This condo was all that the website claims and more. Very clean, very comfortable, and homey. Colleen, the owner, was so helpful to us; she obviously cares about her guests. Lots of extras--food, firewood, and toiletries. We took our 22-year-old and three teens and had a wonderful time. We plan to return!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children.
Owner response: This is music to our ears. Thank you. We're glad you had fun and look forward to your return. And, since we don't ask anyone to comment online, we really appreciate your taking the time to write a review.

I've been a frequent Mammoth visitor for the last 20 years. This is one of the best rentals I have stayed in. The condo is in a great location in town, the layout is spacious, and there is lots of natural light from all the windows. The kitchen is open and well stocked with dishes and pans. The beds are very comfortable also. I can't wait to return! Colleen was a pleasure to deal with. I have recommended this property to several friends already.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: It's such a joy to have happy skiers and snowboarders! Thank you for being great guests in every way. It's been less than a year since we bought this condo. But we're feeling so lucky to have you and others who love nature and Mammoth renting this place. Please come back.

We stayed over Christmas holiday, and were delighted at such amazing snowfall! This comfortable and cozy, well-appointed condo is situated in a lovely complex, close to all in-town attractions - but who needs to go into town when everything you need is here? The four of us enjoyed all the ammenities which were carefully and tastefully provided, from 1st class linens to board games. The only down-side is the shuttle at the "end of the driveway" doesn't go to Main Lodge, and you have to transfer OR we opted to walk to Old Mammoth Road to catch the direct line to the lifts - a little bit of a hassle and disappointment (hense the 4star rating). The owner was very attentive and reliable and provided all as promised with genuine and friendly communication. We would reccommend this to anyone wanting a well-appointed and peaceful retreat in beautiful Mammoth. We hope to return in the near future.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: This is why we like feedback -- it helps us get better and better! You were super guests and we look forward to you returning. Regarding winter shuttles, you're right. We're on one of the three shuttle routes and ours goes directly to the ski base closest to our condo: Eagle Lodge. Eagle is at 7,953 ft. compared to Main Lodge at 8,909 (Canyon Lodge at 8,343), which means Eagle pops you on the lifts from the lowest starting point and quicker. For families heading to Main Lodge, it's true you will walk 2 blocks to Old Mammoth Rd., or transfer from Green Line shuttle at the end of our driveway to Red Line. But, unless you're headed to lessons at Main, we tend to side with Mammoth locals who favor Eagle Lodge -- much less crowded than Main and a significantly shorter shuttle ride. Rentals are available at Eagle, day/season passes and food/drinks. We like what the official Trail Map says about Eagle Lodge: "With a huge concentration of gentle terrain and access to the steeps. . . it's great for families and groups with varying skill levels. Largely undiscovered, Eagle is a great starting point that's only a short shuttle ride away from town." Having said that, we hope Eagle remains "largely undiscovered" and that our guests will give it a try -- it's the quickest route from town area condos to the lifts.

We experienced a wonderful 4 day vacation in this cozy condo. It is supplied with everything you will need for a relaxing and enjoyable time. We found this corner condo very clean with lots of natural light. The location is centrally located and close to the very efficient bus line (we parked our car Wednesday night and didn't move it again until it was time to return home on Sunday). Owner was very helpful and prompt with any questions. We would definitely stay here again!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: These were wonderful guests. We're happy they enjoyed our condo and beautiful Mammoth. We want our condo to be comfortable, well-stocked with every convenience and downright fun to stay in!

About the owner: We enjoy sharing this condo as a base for the spectacular activities Mammoth offers: opportunities to ski, snowboard, fish, hike, bird-watch, golf, ride horses and bikes.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
We like being walking distance to town while still being secluded in tall pines -- you can walk to Vons, the movie theater, Roberto's Mexican, Grumpy's, Rafters, etc. The summer and winter free shuttle route is at the end of our driveway -- hop on and head to the Village, up the Mountain, out to the lakes area.
