Your home away from home. It has all the right stuff: 5 TVs (2 with DVD players), quality linens, kitchen with almost everything needed to cook at "home" including many small appliances, deck chairs to enjoy the ocean breeze, and a carriage house that is attached to the main house with a separate entry.
The small, gated community is one of the most desirable complexes in Port Aransas. It is just a short walk or drive to the beach or airport and a 5 minute drive to downtown. Relax by the community pool just steps away from the house or stroll down the beach.
3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms in the main house; 1 bedroom, 1 bath in the carriage house.
The main house has an open kitchen/dining/living area with plenty of room for everyone. There is a large table and chairs that will sit 8. There is also a serving bar with stools for 4.
The master bedroom in the main house, located on the first level, has a king bed and private full bath. Upstairs has a nice bedroom with a king bed and two chairs that fold out into twin beds, and a third bedroom with two double beds that are bunk style. The two bedrooms upstairs share a bath.
The carriage house, with a private entrance, has a bedroom with a king bed, large living area, kitchenette with a coffee maker, small refrigerator and microwave, and full bath. Stretch out on the chaise lounge and relax.

We chose Port Aransas because it is a perfect place to relax, it has a beautiful beach community and is a short 3 1/2-hour drive from Austin. We love the quaint/relaxing feel, location, gated neighborhood and private pool in the development.

We searched for months for the right home to accomodate 2 families for 1 full week. We finally decided on this property and we are glad we did. The house provided enough space to accomodate us all, including 2 children and 4 teenagers. To get to the beach, you must drive...but it's only about 5 minutes away. The property description is accurate and well maintained. The pool was a bit smaller than i thought....but that didn't keep us from enjoying it. The owners were very accomodating. I would recommend this property..we didn't want to leave :)
Recommended for:Girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

We enjoyed staying in this home. Very family friendly even with small kids. Enjoyed close proximity of the pool. We cooked most of our meals there. IGA Family Center Grocery Store had everything we needed. Comfortable beds, nice towels. The people we rented through were very helpful & answered all of our questions. Photos are very accurate. Several in our group did a 4 hour chartered fishing trip- had a great time. Ate at Finn's resturaunt- the food was good, but the service was very slow.

The Beach house and community are perfect for families. It is convenient to town and centrally located; easy access to the beach. The house is very comfortable; beds and linens were very nice. Not your typical rental. We will make this our go-to house for trips to Port A.

Check is in the mail, we had a great time. Followed instructions, cleaned, fueled jeep and ate and drank well...I would like to book several weekends between now and year end.
