  The house was smaller than we had expected. It is also older than the houses we normally rent. The house is close to several areas of interest for my wife and me. We went many times to the beach and board walk in Hollywood. It is also close to several State Parks that are less than 1 hour travel time away and we used the parks many times. We also traveled to the Florida Everglades several times and biked here to see a lot of alligators and birds. It is also close to Fort Lauderdale and several shopping centers which we visited many times.

  Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, pet owners, sightseeing.

  Owner response: I thank this guest for accurately describing the convenience of the location. However, I am surprised this guest found the house small when the previous year he rented from me a one-bedroom condo in Kendall and this house is double the size. Its age is also typical from Hollywood, and totally remodeled and carefully furnished and equipped. I guess next year, I will offer this guest my listings in Pembroke Pines or Miramar where construction is newer, although, they do not offer the advantage of being close to the beach.

  This house is perfect for a care-free vacation. The house is located near the beach and shops. It has been beautifully decorated and feels just like home! Highly recommended.

  We rented the house for a week in July and everything was perfect.  The house was very clean and it looks just like the pictures. My children enjoyed the pool a lot, and the barbecue is a plus. The backyard is pretty big and there is a beautiful avocado tree.  The neighborhood is calm and the neighbors are friendly. The owner is very nice, and she helped up with everything we needed. The house is close to everything restaurants, shopping, casinos and the beach. We had a great time! Looking forward to come back!

  This quaint home is all Maria Elena Described plus more. She fell short of how close it is to walk ( 4 Blocks) to very charming, entertaining and a beautiful Hollywood Downtown is. The home was exceptional for our needs. The price was perfect. There is no hotel that can provide the privacy or space a home can and for this pricing in this location.

  Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

  This house and the city of Hollywood are so awesome that I returned this year the first week of December with two friends for a week of fun and Xmas shopping at the Aventura Mall. We have stayed twice at this property and intend to return in the future, what is not to like? We had fun, relaxation and shoppiing, a perfect vacation.

  It was a overall pleasure to stay in your property. The combination of great location and amenities makes any family to enjoy themselves. The proximity to the Young Circle Entertainment and the Pool for the kids is a PLUS.

  First time we used a vacation rental and it was just perfect, great treatment from the start, accomodations were better than we expected. We will be back for sure.

  Listing was accurate other than the safety of the area. The agent was not available for assistance, only the cleaning lady by phone who could not help or ever arrived to help, even though she promised to come over. Upon arrival at night the house was in the dark and we could not see the lock box to get the key. There was not even a set of instructions to operate the alarm, thermostat, t.v./cable, garbage pickup--could not open back gate to garbage bin. The community was represented as safe for walking and IT WAS NOT! We left after 4 days with the agent's promise of a rebate if the house was re-rented--it was re-rented and the agent double-dipped and refused to compensate us. I would not recommend this property to anyone.

  Owner response: In five years I have been in this business I have had nothing but positive reviews and happy guests, not only in this house but in all the listings I have in Kendall, Pembroke Pines, Weston, Fort Lauderdale, Pompano Beach, Deerfield Beach and Cocout Creek. The success of my gorwing business is based on excellent customer service but this proves some people is impossible to please. Mr. Goldhar decided to leave not for anything wrong in the house but because a black neighbor approached him and he decided he must be a bandit. The house is two blocks from the Young Circle, as safe as any city house can be. He pestered my property manager for instructions on how to operate de TV amd demanding that she went there to show him how the control is used. My property manager was very patient and guided him through the re-setting of the control that he had de-programmed in the first place. The A/C thermostat is digital and user friendly, and he had the code for the alarm, which is also very user friendly. When he left, eventhough I had no legal obligation, I offered to put the house back in the market and return to him 50% if I was able to find a renter for the month, but I was only able to rent for a week at a discount price.

  My boyfriend and I regularly visit South Florida, often staying in ritzy areas like South Beach or Boca Raton. This time I wanted to do something a little bit different, so I looked up rentals in the Hollywood area. We came across Maria's property and secured it for a getaway. Being nervous as this was my first time renting on VRBO, Maria was very professional and as she was licensed realtor, I was very reassured. This house's pictures DO NOT DO IT JUSTICE! A cute little bungalow in a quiet neighborhood, the house is about 950 square feet. Bathroom has a large shower, house has full cable and internet, and the backyard is a prefect little retreat with its above ground pool and grill. The house was immaculate and nicely furnished and decorated. IT GETS BETTER! You cannot beat the location on this place. We were less than a 10 minute walk from Hollywood Blvd with its cute shops, diverse restaurant and a night life that rivals Miami's. Also the house is only two blocks away from the JothiVita Aryuvedic Center (Chopra based) and YogaOne, Broward's number one yoga studio. Plenty of shopping, great food a place just like home to relax in when you need a respite. Walk to Starbucks, Publix and Walgreens.This does not even take in to account that the house is less than 5 minutes away from a beautiful and vibrant beach scene. This place was definitely worth the money and honestly the best South Florida vacation I have had to date.
