Thanks so much for letting us stay at your Kelowna place. The locations was good and we took long walks through the neighborhood to the water, parks and coffee shops. We visited a few wineries, picked tomatoes and peppers, and returned to the suite to relax. If you decide to rent it out again like this next year please let us know ... and we may want to go back again this year. We enjoyed the quintessential Kelowna afternoon when we stopped at the Misconduct winery in Naramata. We were interested because they offered tapas. After the wine tasting, we selected a bottle of white wine, ordered tapas and sat on the balcony overlooking the lake in 28+ degrees. Our daughter was able to join us for that.

We had a few wonderful days in Kelowna. Your home is perfectly located, near to the shops on Pandosy and to the beaches. Also bus 1 helped us a lot, traveling without a car! Donna was very helpful. She took us to the supermarket when we arrived and even baked our first pizza! You have a very nice and comfortable cottage. We had all our breakfasts outside and enjoyed your DVDs after a long day full of touring. Of course we did a wine tasting tour but we liked the Myra canyon (cycling!) best.

Thank you for sharing this quiet little gem with us! Your cottage provided the perfect home base her in Kelowna. On July 26th we tied the knot and got married at Summerhill winery! Your cottage is in a great location and has all of the comforts of home. We look forward to coming back!

A big thank you for a really great stay in Kelowna. We had not thought of staying in this area until Paul and Anne - sister and brother in law - stayed here in the cottage last September. So we came, on their recommendation and we have love the cottage, loved the locality and the town. The wine tour was a lot of fun. We had most fun on the Kettle Valley bike ride - it was brilliant! Loved the photos - good eye for composition. Hope to come back soon. God bless.

The photos are great - so much more personal than standard accomodation fare. I have also really appreciated the skylights, laundry facilities, and outdoor table. The cottage has been a great place from which to visit my grandma. My daughter and I have benefitted from your graciousness and that of your neighbours and staff - thank you!

We are so happy we took the girls suggestion and stayed here at your little cottage. Much more cozy and comfortable than a hotel room. We enjoyed having our breakfast here and some dinners. Hectors was a favourite of ours. Your pictures are beautiful and interesting, especially the guitar player in front of the Empress Hotel. The ravens gave us a few laughs. A baby had fallen out of the nest so there was a lot of cawing going on. Hopefully baby raven survives. We enjoyed watching them. Our time spent with Audrey was special and Kate too. We miss her very much. Thanks again Carolyn for making us feel at home.

Your cottage is in a great location to explore Kelowna. Some of the sights we saw were the Carmelis Goat Cheese shop and 11 of the 18 trestles at Myra Canyon on the Trans Canada Trail - fabulous views. And of course, we checked out several of the wineries around Kelowna and enjoyed a glass or two with our home cooked meals. Your cottage was very comfortable and quiet. We especially enjoyed your photographic work in all of the rooms - you have a great eye and have been to some very interesting places. Thanks again and we hope to visit another time soon.

We had a wonderful time at your home and around Kelowna. What a great weekend for a half marathon! Thank you so much for the use of your place. We loved being able to prepare some healthy meals instead of eating out all weekend. This was our first time renting a home but will not be our last. Great experience!

We really enjoyed our stay in your lovely cottage in Kelowna - a perfect centre for exploring a beautiful area of BC. We saw the Kokanee Salmon run and a mother bear with her three cubs in Mission Creek. We also enjoyed a wine tour and a trip to Lake Hathewne for fly fishing as well as a short hike to Paul's Tomb. We hope we will be able to visit you again.

Your home was a great base for exploring Kelowna while dropping our son off at UBCO. We took in lots of activities including biking, hiking, wine touring and tasting, and yoga! Thanks for the hospitality and Donna was a great help!

We can't say enough about this cottage. It was extremely clean and cozy and in a convenient location. We knew it was a self-contained suite, but it was beyond that - there is even tupperware/ saran wrap/ aluminum foil on hand to pack up a nice picnic lunch. You literally only need to bring food and clothes. The book/ DVD collection was a nice surprise and with 2 toddlers in tow, the use of the washer/ dryer was very much appreciated. The manner in which this cottage is maintained and the way that Carolyn and her small staff are on top of things really attests to the quality of her character and that of her staff - very good people. The hospitality shown by staff/ neighbor Donna was second to none - you cannot help but love her! Carolyn, thanks for offering such an amazing and affordable retreat for families! This has to be the best value on VRBO!

Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My family really enjoyed your cottage. What a lovely and comfortable place to stay - we'll definitely be coming back. We especially enjoyed the very comfortable bed and beautiful garden! Our kids enjoyed 'Finding Nemo" - a nice touch to have some DVDs for kids for the one overcast afternoon were we needed an indoor activity!

We have really enjoyed our stay in your cottage. The location was perfect and we even had the opportunity to walk to the lake. We found the cottage very comfortable and it had everything we needed. It definitely beats staying in a hotel and allowed us to have some meals here rather than at restaurants. Our daughter is all settled in to her home where she will stay while she studies 3D animation at CATO for the next 2 years. I knw we will be back for visits and will definitely look at staying here again if possible. Will also be recommending it to friends and family!
