We spent 3 nights in this beautiful home in Custer. We couldn't have asked for a nicer place. The owner was great to work with and allowed to us re-schedule when all of the snow was predicted mid-April, of which we are so thankful. I would highly recommend this property if you want to tour the entire Mt. Rushmore & Custer State Park area, it is just awesome.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.
Owner response: Thank you for the great review. I am glad you had a great time. Hope to see you again sometime. Joleen

What a wonderful experience staying at the nice and spacious 1 bedroom home. Perfect for our family of 4. Everything was as described and was EXTREMELY clean which is why we highly recommend this property. Jolene was wonderful to work with and it was nice to come "home" to while spending the day exploring the beautiful Black Hills. The kitchen had everything we needed and we enjoyed grilling out on the back porch where is was so peaceful. If we make back to that area again this is where we will want to stay again!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: Thank you so much for the great review,we take pride in what we opened up to our visitors to our vacation home. We are adding something new to our home this weekend we are putting a roof over our deck in back so if raining you could still enjoy cooking out or just sitting enjoying the beautiful area. We made this place as if we would stay there that, that is the way we would like it.Clean, comfortable, and things to do like wii, foos ball, or just sitting around and watching movies after a day of checking out all we have in the Black Hills.

This property is tastefully furnished and spacious. The open floor plan of living, dining and recreation is perfect for evenings in rather than out on the town. Movies, WII and a foos ball table are part of the amenities of the entertainment available in this unit. The kitchen and grill and deck out back provide anything you could want in preparing your own meals. The spices, condiments, and coffee are all provided in this fully equipped kitchen. We only ate out to have pie at the Purple Pie Place. The Dakotamart on the East end of town was our stop for food to fix ourselves. The bedroom is spacious and provides a full washer and dryer for the convenience after being away from home. The carport provides even an accommodation for your vehicle. The location is west of Custer but within walking distance to the town itself. Perfect for going to the evening laser show at Crazy Horse Memorial; no winding roads to return on at night. We also enjoyed the close proximity to Custer State Park; we went there three times. Mt. Rushmore is not more than 20 miles away. Recommended highly for the comfort and convenience it provided us on our trip. The owners were quick to call back on our email inquiry that day that we wanted to stay.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children.
