Perfect for a Team House

We had a Tennis Team in town for Nationals and 10 of us stayed at this house. The property was perfect for our large group. We had a few more in town but had a dinner for all 17 of us on Saturday night. The Kitchen had everything we needed, The house and multiple decks had plenty of room for all of us to spread out and relax. The outdoor firepit was exceptionally nice to gather around as the evening cooled down into the 50's. During our stay we saw Deer, Coyote, and one Javelina!! Strange little critters! The house was very peaceful despite how big it was. Coffee in the mornings overlooking the city from the poolside deck was awesome! Thanks for letting us enjoy your home Gary! Hope to see you again! The house is beautiful and well appointed. There were several interruptions with appliances which were problematic. We also had other problems which were addressed by the owner and or his representative. On a whole our vacation was excellent due to the fact that we are flexable. There were a number of things that we encountered that you don't exspect to encounter while on vacation. The views are spectacular and the proximity to attractions is a definate plus.

Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Owner response: We appreciate the nice comment on our offered vacation home. July is a spectacular time to witness the monsoon storms. The days before your stay Tucson encountered dramatic monsoon activity. Indeed mother nature had cause and effect on the following specific items. GFI Circuit breaker tripped servicing patio features to include patio refrigerator, entertainment system and pool equipment easily corrected with a phone call and push of a reset button. The electricity to entire home had been out because of the storm and is not uncommon, however, this power surge happened to cause a fan failure in kitchen refrigerator preventing it from distributing cooling to normal operating temperature. Arrival was a Sunday disallowing resolution that day. Immediate action was taken next morning to provide temporary rental refrigerator and dispatch of repair for refrigerator. Part was overnight delivered and resolved as quick as humanly possible. We are grateful for our customers working with us to resolve unpredictable events. We will always be responsive and committed to maintaining high vacation home standards.

An exceptional experience

This was our first trip to Tuscon so we were a little uncertain as to what to expect. It turned out to be a truly exceptional experience from start to finish. The house is located in a great position with views across Tuscon towards the east. Outside there is a great shady terrace which we used a lot (it was over 100 every day). The swimming pool was warm and inviting and in the evenings the BBQ grill was so useful and even better was easy to light. Inside the decoration is smart with very interesting southwestern local artefacts. Views from the master bedroom are exceptional with the desert right outside the window. I love to cook and the kitchen had all you could possibly need. The whole house was spotlessly clean and a delight to stay in. Importantly Gary was easy to deal with, being very helpful with the booking and ensuring that it all went so smoothly. One of the best houses in the world I have rented. I strongly recommend it.

Beautiful Family Desert House!

Nine members of our family gathered in Tucson to celebrate our daughters graduation from the U of A. This house is stunning! The sunrise views, the pool, the interior decor far exceeded our expectations! The gourmet kitchen/outside grill allowed us to eat healthy meals. The kitchen was well stocked with the necessary cooking tools. The master bedroom has spectacular 30ft windows that overlook Tucson. Viewing the lights at night was beautiful. Scott, the house manager, was at the house to greet us and did a great job of showing us how everything worked. He even brought us an additional dining table so we could all eat outside together. The house has been very well maintained and clean. The owner was easy to work with. My Father celebrated his 93rd birthday here! This house really made this family party a memory we will always cherish! Jane B.

We LOVED the views! The home is very beautiful. The owner is very nice, accessible and answered all of our questions. There is a lot of good hiking very close to this location. Our favorite restaurants were about a 15 minute drive. The home was clean and well maintained. We felt that the sofa in the Great room needed cleaning, and have learned since our stay that the owners have responded with a scheduled cleaning. I would recommend discussing the sleeping arrangements with the home owner. Depending on the size of the party and privacy needs, it is best to understand all the details ahead of time. Our group will definitely return!

Perfect home for our Daughter's college graduation

WOW... what an incredible stay we had at this amazing home. We reserved the home to celebrate our daughter's graduation from the University of Arizona and it did not dissapoint. The whole family was comfortable and the house was so clean and homey... we had everything we could ask for . The view from the Master Bedroom at night was unbelievable. The pictures on here don't even do the house justice. The owner was very nice and friendly and we would definitely stay here again if given the chance. I highly recommend this home to anyone staying in the Tucson area. The Desert Musueum is very close and a must see!!!! It was a highlight to our trip!!!!! We have been to Tucson many times during my daughter's college education and I only wish we found this house sooner :)

Fabulous house! Loved the sprawling layout of the home! Lot's of room for everyone. My herpetologist son had a great time hunting for reptiles and tarantulas and the chorus of frog song around the pool at night was fun. Thanks!

My clan had a delightful time here at your home. The view, the pool, the patio! It is the greatest and thank you for allowing my dogs. Many thanks, Christine. The house was awesome. Thank you so much for sharing your home! We truly enjoyed your comfortable and beautifull home inside and out! The pool was fantastic and the views are amazing! We saw a mother white tail deer and it's fawn one night, lots of lizards and had a evening with froggy serenades by the pool while taking in the gorgeous star filled sky, even shooting stars! All of us enjoyed our time away and it was a perfect family vacation spot. Thank you! All the best!

We spent a wonderful week at this amazing home. The night views from the patio, overlooking the infinity pool, with the distant city lights of Tucson were enchanting! The owners are very fastidious with their home; we were constantly surprised by the custom features found in every room. I would recommend this property to any family or group of friends looking to enjoy a relaxing time in a fabulous location. We were busy most days in Tucson and very happy to come "home" to enjoy dinner and views and have a swim in the pool. We were also pleasantly surprised to find that we were so close to a few tourist spots just to the south by way of a pleasantly thrilling mountain drive shortcut. We hope to make a return visit next season.

This has been such a relaxing vacation for our family. We enjoyed getting away from the cold in Minnesota and waking each morning to a spectacular view. Your home is stellar. So warm and inviting. We took an outing each day with the kids and looked forward to returning to the house to enjoy swimming in the pool and relaxing with a glass of wine as the sun would set! What a wonderful relaxing, rejuvenating and FUN vacation in a truly special home. Thank you so much for making this such an oasis for our rain soaked souls. The sunshine, view both day and night, and all the comforts of home did all of us wonders. It also served as a great spot from which to venture and we did! Our adventures included trips to Biosphere 2, Kartchner Caverns, Tombstone, Gate's Pass for a hike and a sunset and the Sonora Desert Museum. It was a fantastic week and you are blessed to live in such a beautiful corner of the world.

Thank you for such a wonderful stay. The house was a perfect sanctuary for our friends and family to reunite in Tucson. BBQing by the pool as the sunset lit up the valley is a memory our family will always cherish. What a fabulous view and home you have! We are so lucky that you shared it with our tennis team. We came from Maui, Hawaii to compete in the 4.5 tennis nationals. We take 1st place but but sure made up for it with the living arrangements. "We may not have played well but we sure did live well !" Thank you Gary and family!

We came for the weekend to watch the Iowa Hawkeyes play the U of A Cats. Sadly we lost but we had a fantastic time nonetheless! Iowa natives from 4 states joined together for a relaxing weekend, thoroughly enjoying all this amazing home had to offer! We felt no obligation to go anywhere else. This home is a retreat of spectacular scenery and careful attention to detail in it's design and decor. We are grateful for the opportunity to come together and truly appreciate all your home had to offer. We hope we will have another opportunity to come together in this amazing place! Before we left Edmonton Canada I looked at the pictures online at VRBO of your place and it looked beautiful. Once I arrived here I realized it was not just beautiful but paradise! Waking up each morning with the most beautiful view I have ever seen, to coming back during the days for a dip in the pool, to sitting around with great company watching the sun go down. I really had one of the best weeks of my life here in Tucson and 99% of it was because I was able to stay in your beautiful house! Thanks Adam.

From the moment we entered your home it was obvious it was created with much care and pride. Beautiful details are throughout. Perhaps the most striking are your treasured pieces of artwork on the walls- so clear that they have been given places of honor in your home. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy them too.. Speaking of enjoyment, that brings me to the pool and the vistas. Outstanding. Everyday we would jump in the pool giving us a necessary reprieve from the heat. Evenings were spent by the pool enjoying your incredible panoramic view of the lights of Tucson and the star-filled midnight sky. Can you tell, we loved staying here! Thank you so much for sharing your home. It was an absolutely wonderful stay for our group. No detail was spared with all the little things that made our vacation rental feel like "home". The backyard view's were our highlight of our days where we spent many evenings taking in the incredible view and enjoying the pool.

All I can say is thank you again Gary. Just came back from a nine day stay in this lovely home, Every detail was looked after when designing this spectacular home. whether your relaxing in the infinity pool on those hot afternoons or enjoying the breath taking mountain views or the lights of the city below. or even the stars in the evening. This home has everything you could ask for. Our party of seven people had more than enough space for entertaining and enjoying each others company. If you are into back yard relaxing you can take advantage of the built in bbq or the hot smoker for those who want to stray from the norm. This home was built to entertain. And if you need some space by yourself it is large enough where you can find a corner and unwind. My only regret is I wish I had a mountain bike when I was there it would have been amazing.
